Very good location, very helpful staff, extremely clean, quiet, relaxing and very respectful towards nature. They did everything they could to accommodate every issue we might have had. Best bed and sleep of our life
A member of the staff (security) has to escort you to your room and back from dinner to protect you from wild animals ( hyenas, lions etc there are many that you can hear at night ) without weapons. Maybe there is a law that doesn't allow weapons but it doesn't make a lot of sense

This place is amazing…. Sleeping surrounded by animal. The food is very very yummy and the stuff is very carful to gluten and dairy free requirements
The night u hear animal walking around the camp

Good location, loved the hill for sunset/sunrise. Food was pretty good. Only two other tents were occupied during our stay so it felt a bit secluded compared to busier campsites we visited.
This camp was a bit shabby compared to another one we stayed at in the park. Parts of the tents were broken or falling apart and we could only shower with hot water at scheduled times. We could hear the staff talking loud at night from our tents as we were trying to sleep. One of the staff interrupted us at dinner to ask me to pay the bill which seemed like poor timing. A good budget midrange option nonetheless.

A true bush camp experience with animals visiting the camp and very comfi tents. The staff makes it absolutely amazing! Compliments to Molel the manager and our guide for the day! Absolutely recommend
Nothing!

The Serengeti is a very remote place and getting here is quite a trek. You expect the minimum is such a remote place and are then welcomed by friendly staff and taken to your tent home. Tents are big with quality fittings. Excellent bed. Dinner was a pleasant 3 course surprise , given how far the chef is from supplies. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended
it is not cheap but good value if you can afford it

Osero camp is an amazing place to stay! The staff is super attentive and even offered us some wine at the sunset. The food here was really good and the closeness to nature (at night you hear the lions, zebras, etc. next to your tent) made it an amazing experience. Our tent was very spacious, with a nice bathroom and a good shower. We fully recommend it :)

This is a new camp, with a row of tents still under construction at the time of writing this review. The food was quite good, and we enjoyed the sunrise and sunset on a nearby hill which offers a nice 360-degree view. For sun-dawn they even carried coffee and tee up for the guests, which turned this into a convivial occasion. We are grateful to the guards for probably saving our lives when a buffalo waited outside of our tent just after dinner.
Because of park restrictions the sign on the side of the road is very small. This makes the camp difficult to find, and a small map or good description (both of which were not provided) could go a long way to help travelers along. Second, it would have been nice to know upfront that all beverages have to be paid for separately in cash, as we did not have a lot of Tanzania currency or USD on hand. Another traveler, whom we repaid in Euro, helped us out of this quite unnecessary impasse. Finally, and that is really a problem with the information on Booking.com, there is a substantial park surcharge for staying at the property. This is effectively a government tax, factored into the Serengeti park ticket, so that the "incl. taxes and fees" advertised is definitely not correct. Travelers should take the surcharges by the Tanzania government into account when planning their trip, as these may come as an unwelcome surprise.

The staff were amiable and ensured my comfort. The room was large, with 2 single beds and one double bed. I was welcomed with a wet towel to clean my hands and a glass of hibiscus juice. I am lactose intolerant and they provided Soya milk on request. When I came back from the game drive in the evening, they offered me some snacks. You could hear the lions roar at night very close to the tents which I found exciting. Full course delicious meals were provided.
Hot water in the morning was only on request.

Breakfast was great, the whole family enjoyed it a lot.

My stay at Osero was incredible. I had my own private tent with bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent and I saw a lot of wildlife in the camp whilst I was there. There were a lot of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, baboons, impala, water buck and topi. The food was delicious and the kitchen team always made sure I was well fed. They can also prepare packed lunches for you to have on safari. The camp also has it's own safari vehicles and guides. My guide Francis was very knowledgeable and knew the National Park routes very well so I was able to see wildlife I wouldn't have seen otherwise. The best part of all were the staff at Osero who were all so welcoming, kind and helpful.

Not much. That said, the bed was comfortable. The food was decent, and our server was excellent.
It was truly ‘tented’ - i.e., little different from pitching your own tent. And whilst our tent had a shower and toilet, they were very basic, as was the rest of the tent. Not a single touch of charm or warmth. A tent on the ground. Period. Same for the restaurant and bar. Way, way overpriced for what you got.

very friendly and helpful staff, who attended to our every need and made us feel welcome and at home from the beginning.
Had the opportunity to see lions in the camp, elephants, water buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, hippos and many more animals.
It’s a nice camp, not quite luxurious but adequate for the price.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities. Excellent food - chef went to a lot of trouble with my request for gluten-free food.

The location is great - near Seronera/ central Serengeti and within a short drive of many of the prime game viewing locations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the wifi was unexpectedly solid, and the food was always delicious. The amenities are not really "luxury" unless your only comparison is a tent that you set up yourself, but there is running water (hot available on request) and a toilet in your room, so it's a significant step up comfort-wise from traditional camping. The price was a little high, but that may have been because my wife and I stayed in a room that could have housed 4-6 people... so you can get a better deal on the Deluxe rooms when traveling as a group.

Accomodation in the middle of the bush. Lions around our tent
The food, few vegetarian options and we requested a vegetarian lunchbox but got a meat pasta. Lot of miscommunication with the one in charge, which was very annoying.

The camp is very nice. The tents are nicely furbished and it's quite comfortable. The staff is really nice. The manager not the best in class, but helpful. It is amazing to go to bed and see the wild anymals (hyenas) just close to the camp. A very nice adventure to be lived.
The price is absolutely too high for what it is given. Plus there are some strange things happening like "there is no room" but if you cancel from Booking, then it comes out that there is room. The driver was not really the top, like he really didn't put too much effort. What I really do not like is when they take advantage of you. We had some beers and they charged something like 8/9$ each, to be paid cash. Tourists are lemons to be squeezed.

The stuff was very friendly and supportive.
The location is perfect, with a lot of wild animals passing by.
The tends are very cosy.
There is a small hill, where you can perfectly watch the sunrise and sunset. Thank you for the wondeful experience!

The location is very good. It should be noticed that the location in Mapsme is 2 KM from the correct location. Food was good.

We had a wonderful stay. The accomodation is nicely located in the Serengeti close to many good game drive locations. The staff was very friendly, helpful and going the extra mile. As the location is insite the Serengeti park and not fenced it means that you can have animals at the facility at night which is a great extra and staff makes sure all is safe.
Maybe good to know for those driving themselves -> At the time we visited Google Maps and Maps.me show the entrence of the camp too early. If you come from Seronera and the app tells you to go left and you only see bushes.. Keep on driving about a KM further.

We did a self drive and self planned safari to Serengeti. Osero was perfectly located - approximately 21 km from Seronera on the Lobo hills road. It would be a very good location for either when the migration was heading south or north. Camp was fabulous. Tents were large and very comfortable. Showers were hot. Food was delicious and well presented. Portion sizes good. Coffee and tea station available all day. Staff very friendly and professional. Pineal, the camp manager even came to find us as we were arriving in the late afternoon and did not have a GPS or driver! We heard lions and hyena from all directions. Lovely bonfire to enjoy. Good rechargeable torches provided. Charging station in room for electronic equipment. Staff very concerned about client safety at night and always escorted us to your tent. Free Wifi. We spent 3 very enjoyable nights at Osero. Would definitely go back.
Nothing really but perhaps the safari vehicles could park behind the camp. Payment was difficult as no card facility in camp but we eventually managed with help from head office.
