If you are looking for a vacation home that checks all the boxes, look no further. Dolphin Dreams, conveniently located near shopping and restaurants and an easy walk to the beach, will fill all your needs.
If you'd prefer to have fun on the water rather than in it, book a trip at the nearby fishing charter for a mellow day as you cast a line. The Avon Fishing Pier is also within walking distance for even easier fishing accessibility. Venture a bit farther in either direction to reach parks to explore.
When you come back you'll be greeted by your house's two carports, two outdoor showers (to wash off the beach sand), a basketball hoop, a Stair Tamer luggage lift, two bicycles, a jogging stroller, and a variety of beach toys. A fish cleaning station is also located under the carport if you opted to go on a fishing trip earlier in the day. The home includes its own pool if you want to have fun in the water without the hassle of leaving the house. Or take a soothing soak in your private six-person hot tub, then have a snack or a refreshing drink at the pool-side tropical bar with its own mini-kitchen.
Inside, the large great room has its own 60' TV with surround sound so you can watch your favorite shows with crisp visuals and sound. The living area sports beautiful ocean views and high ceilings, highlighting the spacious interior. Gather everyone in the game room and have some competitive matches on the pool table or choose to play one of a wide variety of games and puzzles while enjoying the mini-kitchen and private deck. When you get hungry, the well-equipped kitchen has its own breakfast bar and large refrigerator, as well as pantry storage if you decide to stock up on groceries. After indulging in a meal with one another, have some quiet conversations together or alone time at the elevated Crow's Nest. Try the work desk where the WiFi is kept in case you feel like catching up on remote work. As the evening winds down, take your pick of six bedrooms, many of which have ocean views, full baths, or both. On the third level, you'll find the primary bedroom with its own private bath and oceanview deck access. All bedrooms also have their own TVs so you can lounge comfortably while viewing. Best of all, this home includes an elevator and a ramp for step-free access, so no one will ever be left out.

This house was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much! Very clean and spacious. The elevator and luggage lift were so nice and made carrying groceries and belongings so much easier.
Pool area was nice and the beach was just a short walk. You just have to be careful at the beach access as it was a little steep if you were carrying items.
Grocery store and shops were close by.
Overall the best house we have ever stayed in Avon. I would definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our vacation. Even when staying in, there is plenty to do and enjoy.

The location is very close to the beach and not too far from the pier if you prefer to fish from there. The basketball hoop got some use and the access to two bikes was great. The weather kept us from spending time outside, but the decks and outdoor lounge area are nice options, too.

This home is so large that it can accomodate many people! There were 8 of us there last week and we never felt crowded.

Very clean and ready to go on time. Close to the beach. Views from the nest. Maintenance very responsive when called with issue resolved. Close to the Food Lion. Close to the Farmers Market on Tuesday. Close to the Avon Pier, for Thursday evening concert. Very relaxing. Separate pool room, defused noise. Very sparkling clean pool and hot tub, inviting. Thanks for providing a superior property for our families from MN, SC, PA to gather.

Beautiful! Furnishings, bedding, kitchen ware - all in very good or excellent condition.

Over the past ten years, we stayed in this house multiple times and loved each moment. While not ocean front, it does have views of the ocean with easy access. If not enjoying the now replenished beach, lounge at the pool or hot tub. If raining or late, play pool on the upper floor. This house has it all!

Second time we stayed in house. Everyone enjoys it. The pool is a great feature for night and when ocean is rough.

The house was well equipped and very clean. The open family area was perfect for hanging out together. The kitchen had a wide array of cooking necessities. The pool was another fun place to hang out! On a personal note, I thought the decor of the house was adorable and it had comfortable furniture too!

Burke, Morris, Sherman Family Vacation
Other than some maintenance issues, a/c unit had to be serviced and a leaking toilet on the third floor our stay was uneventful. It was a nice surprise to have laundry detergent packets available, not sure if they were supplied or left by the previous renters. Also, a great supply of towels available which isn't always the case. One downfall is the a/c on the second level. It was quite stuffy especially the last bedroom on the left. I know you couldn't have a ceiling fan due to the bunk beds but I did not see a vent either so we went to the local Ace and purchased 2 box fans to keep the air circulating. The concrete and tile around the pool needs a little work. I would not have a problem recommending this property in the future.

Surfs Inn is a winner
Clean and comfortable. This house is well kept up and nicely decorated. The kitchen is a bit small for a full house but is well stocked. The driveway is somewhat elevated so it stayed dry not under water during bad weather. Blinds all around keeps the morning sun from overheating the kitchen and living area. Overall a great place to stay.

Everything you could possibly need
This is a great house. Has everything you could need from the elevator and dumb waiter to help with unloading and loading all of your stuff to the outside kitchen area to grab drinks while in the pool. The views are great and just a short walk to the beach. They even supply a huge selection of activity item in the storage area from bikes to floats. We truly enjoyed our visit. When something broke, the property management responded immediately. We look forward to returning next year!

Outer Banks Surf's Inn
the property was old and not well cleaned - we had called to find out about kitchen equipment and what they said they did not have was there - the entry time kept creeping back from the original time. They called to tell us that dryer was broken (It was not) but the grill was. Communication from rental agency Vacasa was poor and uncaring. They called to complain about how we did not allow someone to enter and my husband was on the deck - the truck they said was there was nowhere in sight. They would not let us in the house though it was cleaned and after the time we were supposed to enter when we signed for the house but wanted us to leave early so they could get in and clean. The flies were ridiculous! Close to beach - pool and hot tub were clean and fun. A lot of sand toys and 3 bikes in outdoor closet. Very close to grocery store. A lot of pots and pans and baking pans. plenty of dishes/silverware. The bins in entry way were tied - again no information that there were extra towels in them so we washed towels repeatedly. Enough bath towels, very few hand towels. Supposed to be starter shower soap, none there. The bed situation worked well for us and our kids had fun with pool table, puzzles and games.

Awesome rental
Surfs Inn, met all of my families needs. The layout is perfect! 5 out of the 6 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor with most having their own bathroom and outside deck. Private areas inside and out. The 2 spacious outside showers helped with many family members coming off the beach. The highlight for all my children and Grandchildren was the private pool. We all had a great fun filled week! Would definitely stay at SURFS INN again!

The Details Count
This house was a great stay for our party of 8. Not only was there plenty of space for gathering, cooking and poolside, there was privacy on decks and the upper room (we called it the therapy room:)). The details are what made it great - elevator and luggage lift, outdoor showers, 1st floor powder room, two conveniently placed wet bars - seemed if you thought of it, it was there.

Amazing!
Surfs Inn is just plain amazing- every amenity one could dream of & so much more!
We enjoyed all of the private balcony areas, luggage lift, the pool & hot tub, and all of the things one could ever need!
The sunrises are gorgeous from the balconies off of the 3rd floor!
This is the PERFECT getaway for families with small children.
Things that they have that are awesome:
Loads of balconies
Loads of kitchen equipment (including a keurig!)
A pool table
Elevator
Luggage lift
And a fully stocked guest closet with pool & beach toys!
A pool table
Pool & hot tub (that are super safely gated for wandering youngsters)
... and so incredibly much more!
We also had a cute little tiny lizard friend visit us that we named Harry!
We booked again for next year & cannot wait to stay again....
Also, the remote in the living room is SO cool! Thank you for having such an awesome house & for sharing it!!
