Second time I stayed here and it's just a beautiful place
Had no problems
7.0
The fact that there was restaurants and the ground floor of the hotel was good.
When I was told that no suites were available in the front street view. When I had requested, months in advance. At least could have made provision for it.

Centrally located to a lot of places supermarkets and restaurants were a walkable distance. Convenient, clean, very friendly staff who catered for our every need. We really felt comfortable and safe! Enjoyed our stay! The WiFi gave us bit of issues here and there which made it bit difficult cause we had online work to do but all in all it worked 85% of the time. Absolutely LOVED Jarryds restaurant being directly downstairs to us - DELICIOUS brunches and overall absolutely pleased! 💖
Some of the furniture were bit rusted and old, together with the AC - it leaked quite a lot on the outside balcony so we were unable to step out onto the balcony often due to the water on the floor. Few areas of the wall paint were chipping off - nothing that a quick touch up won’t fix.

The stay was ok besides when our electricity was cut off and the fish smell coming from the sea it was very strong at times but it is close to the ocean so its expected. They are a very clean facility though.

Confusing entrance through shopping complex

Clean, private and peaceful
A stove or oven wouldve made the stay more convenient
5.0
Excellent location
1. Poor safety - elevator broken at one point and alternative stairway access available to public
2. Poor cleanliness - item found in bed after 2 consecutive cleaning days
3. Overpriced - average facilities for very expensive stay
4. Poor advertising - decor in pictures not present in room during stay

Just the fact that I had a roof over my head.
For starters, the electronic key/card wouldn't open, I reported this and was given a door key. I had two very uneven single beds that were put together, I requested a double or king as I am 1.95 tall as this was not adequate but my request was not considered and I was not helped. On the second day seeing that the bed story was not going to be resolved, I made a request for at least a bigger bedding and the duvet instead of the two small or singles and I was told that they will see what they can do and nothing was done. I left this alone, and finally, this is an old building however the building was not clean, there was grime between the pipes and on corners. To top it off I then killed a huge cockroach on the morning of the ladt day. This was disgusting for me. The lift had a very bad smell. I had to tolerate this as I could not find anything around due to the weekend being a Sanlam City Marathon weekend.

Everything, great location. Super friendly staff. Best value for money.
Room was a little bit cold, but not a big problem. Not a good view. Very basic, no luxuries or extras.

Liked everything about it.
Friendly stuff
Love that loadshedding wasnt affecting us
The rooms did not look likw what was on the website
The television had less channels
fridge seemed not to work
The phone didnt dial to reception had to walk there.
9.0
The location was lively, and the restaurant on the first floor had good food. There are also many other places to eat in the area, and it's in a good location to visit the beach from. The rooms were also really spacious for the price, with a TV that could show youtube and netflix on it. Since I got sick, the last part was pretty handy.
The generators did not run at night during loadshedding, so it could get quite hot. The drain in the bathtub didn't close, so we didn't get to bathe. Showering still worked fine though. The double bed was two beds slid together which meant they could slide apart easily during cuddles and trap one of us in the dark abyss. The wifi was rather spotty, but you could still browse and such on it.

Nothing.
Everything. The website images are misleading. The access and lobby are impossible to find. The place is dirty and in disrepair. The rooms are shoddy, the shower leaked, the entire place needs a clean.
