The house was very well equipped with the little touches so you don't have to pack them ie handwash, toilet rolls, salt & peppers, teabags etc. Excellent location to the shops and beautiful view of the river. Comfy beds too. Chris the owner was great too and kept in touch frequently to check everything was ok and we were happy.

We love the outdoor seating area with the lovely river views. We also love how central the accommodation is to the city. It's so easy to walk to anywhere within the city.

The space, the location, the garden and the cleanliness. Ticks all our boxes for a family of five.

This is a lovely house along the River Dee. Ample room and a fantastic outdoor area that the kids and adults can both enjoy. Perfect location for getting around Chester and exploring the local eateries. The host Chris is great with communication too, remaining in contact throughout your stay.

Amazing house in a lovely quiet area. House was clean, well equipped with everything you need. Lovely patio area looking onto the river where you can enjoy a drink and a chat while enjoying the peacefulness of the river and the nature around you. And Chris, the host was very nice, checking up on us to make sure everything was ok and was only a call away if we needed him.

A short visit with daughter-in-law and her Mum over from USA on a visit. A lovely warm, well equipped house in a great location for getting around Chester itself either along the river or through Grosvener Park and with a short walk to the train station for a visit to Liverpool for a Beatles fan from USA. Great to watch the local boat club practising. Would be a lovely place in summer to sit out and watch the world go by on tow path or river.

I wanted to show my 3 young children my home town so this was a great base. Staying right on the banks of the river, with loads of wildlife and boats to watch was such a treat, not to mention having the play area of Grosvenor Park pretty much on the doorstep!
Everything Chester has to offer is just a few minutes walk away.
The house has amazing views, a lovely homely feel and is equipped with everything you could ever need.
The owner also gets in touch to make sure that everything was go

This location is great, the house is direct at the River Dee, overlooking the Meadows. If you want to go to the Town Center you just make a short stroll through the Grosvenor Park. On Sunday there was a raft race and we had the best seats of Chester to watch it.

Very good clean house with ample room and river side view

We had a lovely stay at Rondeva, the house is clean and well equipped, and in a gorgeous location. If we could suggest one improvement it would be to get more comfortable seating in the livingroom to make it a better place to relax in the evening. We would happily stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.

We stayed at Rondeva for 3 nights, deciding to try it as we had previously visited its sister property Zoo Cottage twice which we enjoyed. Rondeva is perfectly situated for the centre of Chester, which is only a short walk along the river and the entrance to Grosvenor Park is literally at the bottom of the street which was great for the kids. There were plenty of local shops and restaurants too. Chris is a great host and made sure we had everything we needed.

We stayed while visiting Chester Zoo as a treat for our child’s birthday. The house is in an amazing location, spotlessly clean and very stylish.

We were incredibly lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting outside the property watching the boats on the river. The house itself was great with everything we needed. Lovely location for the city centre.
