Kiama is a beautiful seaside town on the NSW South Coast, best known for its beaches and blowholes.
It’s a favourite with families looking for a laidback holiday spot and surfers chasing world-class waves. Plus you’ll find great food, plenty of history and some of the state’s prettiest ocean pools.
Kendalls Beach - just a few minutes walk - has shallow water and gentle waves that are ideal for families.
The streets of Kiama are lined with cute cafes serving quality coffee. There is a Cafe just 50 metres away from this property!
Sitting just beneath the lighthouse, the Kiama Blowhole is a natural cavity in the fortress-like cliffs that blasts seawater 20 metres or more into the air. If the water is less than spectacular, try the Little Blowhole just south of town. Both spots are part of the stunning Kiama Coast Walk, a 22km trail between Minamurra and Werri Beach.
After visiting the blowhole, head to the National Trust-classified Historic Terrace Houses, built in 1886. There are many more delightful shopping opportunities in Kiama, from galleries to emporiums. You can also discover Kiama’s history at the Pilot’s Cottage Museum, in a lovingly restored home built in 1881.
For adventurers, there are a number of tours for kayaking and fishing. Join Escape Kayak Tours for a guided adventure along the serpentine estuary of the Minnamurra River. Check out the exciting events calendar for festivals, markets and shows, including the Kiama Jazz and Blues Festival in March.

The property was nice but a few things were broken before we arrived. The driveway is dangerous and too hard to drive down to the garage area.
Needs parking improvements.

Informing us that the screen door does not lock properly would have been good. Also while clean, there were crumbs on the lounge perhaps from the last tenants. Nonetheless overall good experience
