Island Point is a beautifully decorated waterfront, 3-story lake house vacation home with an elevator and amazing 270 degree open water views of the Colorado arm of Lake LBJ and Texas Hill Country. As you walk through the front door of Island Point, you are immediately greeted by a wall of windows with breathtaking lake views. Island Point is located in a gated, golf-course community.

When entering The Legends on Lake LBJ, Clearwater Harbor is the second gated community approximately 0.4 miles on the right.
Lake LBJ stretches for 21 miles and is the largest constant level lake in Texas, attracting visitors from all corners of Texas and around the country. We thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. Every comfort was provided. The view was extraordinary. The amenities were plentiful. The whole family had a wonderful vacation here!
I'd watch out for the upstairs faucets though as they can shoot water past the sink if not very careful. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect!

A great place to relax. 3 story house with elevator which was a must for me to rent. The house was everything advertised and more. The view was spectator. It was fantastic setting in the pool watching all of the water traffic going by. Also there was a pontoon boat to rent which we did. My teenage granddaughters loved the boat.
Also what made this a great stay was the owners got in touch with us to go over everything arriving, during and departing which made the stay easy
Overall we gave a 5 star+
Will probably be a repeat customer.

We loved the condo for our family from grandparents down to toddlers! The location, right on the water, was terrific. We enjoyed the multitude of garage games & even ran a tournament. Kitchen was well stocked, condo was wet clean, beds were comfortable. The elevator is a great plus for those older in our group. Michelle was great on communication & a fabulous host.

We stayed in this house over the holiday weekend and had a perfect experience there! Being able to BBQ and hang out in the pool, while lakeside people watching was SO much fun! We went and ate at some great local restaurants and enjoyed boating around the lake. The house was immaculately clean and had plenty of room for our entire group. I can't wait to get to stay here again!!

Have been coming to the lake and renting VRBO’s for years. Would have to put this property and host in top 5 that we have rented. Other than weather first day everything was great. We are first time grandparents and had our 14 month old with us. Really appreciated the cookies and blow up toys Michelle gave us. Just a nice touch !

This home is just beautiful. There are so many amenities, you could spend a week there and not use them all. From the great pool, to the kayaks and paddleboards to ping pong and other games, there is plenty to do. The home itself is decorated lovely and the kitchen is stocked with any appliance you might need. There is also an outdoor grilling area that is fantastic.

This is a beautiful property that is located on an ideal section of Lake LBJ. The amenities are excellent and the home is beautifully decorated. The hosts Cris & Michelle went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We cannot wait to come back and stay again.

Highly recommend this location. We stay in this area anually but this was the first time we have stayed in this specific location. It is in the perfect spot on the lake & an absolutely beautiful home. The views were amazing from just about every room. It was very clean, well stocked, & the communication with the owners was great. They even left our kids Easter treats, which was above & beyond and very thoughtful. My only critique was that I would change the door to the bathroom in the bunkroom to a regular full door instead of a saloon door for privacy. The kids & adult who stayed in there were bothered by it. Besides that, we had no issues! The elevator was perfect for a guest with disabilities. I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back :)

This property had all the amenities our group of nine (ages 12 to 77!) needed for a fun and relaxing 3-day weekend at the lake! The house was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had the most spectacular views from all levels! On a warmer day, we enjoyed kayaking, fishing just off the property, and playing at the community pickle ball court. On a cooler, windy day, the garage games (including ping pong and foosball) were a bonus! The owners were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. We hope to stay again.

This was our second time staying here. This home is very clean and provides everything that you would ever need. Tons of things for teens and children to do plus extremely relaxing and a great entertaining home. We will definitely return for another stay.

The house was spectacular and enjoyed by the whole family! So clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated including Fall touches.
There were fresh roses, wine, and treats for the kids. The kids enjoyed the garage level game room for hours.
We couldn’t have asked for a better weather weekend and had the pool heated since it got chilly in the overnight hours.
Sunsets were amazing and we loved watching the boats go by. We also did lunch at Blue Bonnet Café in Marble Falls and the Exotic Resort Zoo tour afterwards one day which we can recommend for an off-season activity.

Pristine home with decks and pool overlooking the lake. Home is well equipped and great for our family! Our toddler and one year old loved the little hidden closet off the closet off the bunk room. Owners were so available and flexible with us. Although we rented owners pontoon and returned it after 2 of our 8 hours, we recommend it! It was very rough and busy on the lake for Labor Day and wasn’t a good plan for the little ones. Location is a quick drive into town. Just perfect. Thank you Cris and Shelley!

This was a beautiful home with great views. The host was extremely hospitable, even had fresh flowers around the house. Communication was prompt and very helpful.
We rented the host’s boat, and had the best time. The captain was friendly and knew a lot of knowledge about the area.

We had a great time staying at this home right on Lake LBJ. We all got a little sunburned as there was so much to do outside! We all played in the pool, went paddleboarding and kayaking, played pickleball, and the list goes on and on. The inside was beautiful, but so relaxing outside. Highly recommend this house!

This house was awesome! Communication from owner was prompt. Location was perfect, corner house right on the water. The house had every kitchen item needed. It was well stocked for outside games. My family of 10 fit comfortably and we never felt like it was cramped. We had a great vacation!

Everything you would want in a lake home— including a wonderful pool overlooking the water. Fun sightseeing as boats passed by. Oh yeah, there’s even a boat to rent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This property and the views are amazing! We had a fabulous family vacation! The lake is beautiful and isn't crowded. And, our hosts were so very gracious. When we checked in, we contacted them, as we had also rented their 5-star pontoon boat with towable boat tube (oh my goodness, how the kids loved this). And, the boat and marina is just steps away from the house. There is also a refrigerator, life jackets, bikes, plenty of pool toys, kayaks and paddle boards and oversized games and toys in the garage.The hosts made it clear that they were available for any and all questions. As city folk, we had a few questions and each time we contacted them, they were so kind and gracious and helpful. This property and the private pool with huge patio overlooking the lake are absolutely stunning! There is an elevator and there were fresh flowers in this beautifully-decorated home.They had everything we could think of in the kitchen, including many welcome treats, pam, spices, a crockpot, coffee and coffee pods, two keurigs, nespreso maker, etc., etc., and large TVs throughout. There was even another keurig and nespresso maker off the primary bedroom suite. There were plenty of pool towels and bath towels and too many amenities to list. And, there were books and games in the adorable reading nook off the kids' bunk room. The community has a community center with a pool, basketball court and other amenties. And, it's less than a four-hour scenic drive from DFW. It was amazing! Thanks!

Cris and Michelle make sure every detail is taken care of so everything goes smoothly. They will respond quickly if you have any questions. They were very kind and helpful.
The property is amazing. There were 9 of us, ages 2 to 65, and everyone enjoyed it. The views are beautiful. The pool was perfect. We enjoyed the ping pong table, bikes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful. We cooked all of our meals using the stove, oven and gas grill. The elevator is super helpful when unloading, loading, and getting everything you need down to ground level. We caught a few bass, a catfish, and a freshwater drum fishing at the bulkhead of the property. Definitely one of our favorite places.

I communicated with the owner (Michelle) ahead of our visit on more than one occasion. She was quick to respond, professional and helpful in planning out trip. We received an incredibly valuable guidebook that outlined all elements (arrival, departure, amenities, map, etc.) of our stay. Michelle hosted a pre-check in call to share details to make the check in process seamless.
When we arrived the house was clean and well maintained. The house is furnished with all of the comforts of home along with a few treats that served as a personal welcome. The house is located in a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We communicated with the owners twice during our visit. The owners were quick to respond when contacted; but, otherwise allowed us to enjoy our stay without interruptions.
We enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back in the future!

We chose this lake house for the great views of open water and it did not disappoint. The views were truly spectacular. The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. The house was perfectly decorated and very comfortable. What a location on open water! We could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay. The hosts were great and always very helpful and responsive. Paddle boards, kayaks, and many other amenities were available. We rented their pontoon and could not have asked for anything more. We had a lot of fun and will definitely come back in the summer.

When searching for a weekend getaway lake house, my family and I always seek the open water views. Location location location. Well, this property has it all. We were surrounded by the beautiful serene waters of Lake LBJ. We’ve been to Lake LBJ in the summer, but the winters are just as beautiful—quiet and peaceful.
The house was decorated beautifully and we were very comfortable. The pool can be heated, but we preferred to stay dry. Overall, we had a great time and could not ask for a more perfect Lakehouse. The owners were incredibly helpful and very responsive. The service was terrific. It’s a perfect getaway for the weekend or the more extensive vacation. We will definitely be back.

We booked a 3 day weekend to get away for my wife’s birthday and brought our extended family. We had ages from 5 years old to 60 years old. The house was very clean and had a lot to offer. The kids throughly enjoyed their time in the pool, in the river and spending time in the garage playing ping pong and all the other games that were furnished. Chris and Michelle were extremely helpful and great hosts and no detail was missed. They left a bouquet of flowers for my wife and gifts for out teenagers and young nieces on the island upon arrival which was a very thoughtful and appreciated surprise! We would defiantly recommend staying at Island Point and look forward to booking with them in the future!
