very quiet location, just what we’d hoped for. lovely original property with all the necessary appliances, kitchenware, features etc. the wildlife and animals around were great for the kids to spot.
some of the windows can’t be opened and with the heatwave it made the nights very hot but the lounge always stayed cool which was great because we always had somewhere to cool off.

The location of the cottage was a brilliant base from which to explore North Wales and Anglesey.
Nestled amongst farmland the cottage was lovely and peaceful, with views over towards the coast and snowdonia and with local ponies willing to say hello.
The cottage is at the end of a small lane but was easy to find using the provided directions.
The layout of the sitting room and dining room meant evenings were very communal meaning everyone in our group (of six) could sit and chat.
The kitchen was fully stocked to allow for easy meal preparation. The cottage was clean and comfortable, with a selection of books, films/series and activity brochures all of which were targeted at a range of ages and preferences, giving choice.
Really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

- Out of the way
- Cottage with a lot of character
- Amazing fireplace
- Comfortable beds
- Good cooking facilities
- Sociable lounge/dining area.
- Multiple toilets
- Good water filtration system (Absolutely no issues with the water/heating)
Creaky stairway - Prone to waking others.
TV perhaps needs updating (Even though I know that’s not the point of a holiday)
Narrow path - Not ideal for wide cars.

The beds were comfortable and the heating worked well when required , as it was cold some days.
The table was great for family meals, the woodburner was great, though sadly no wood was provided, so a trip to the garage to supply....
Sadly for the summer the weather was wet most of the time, but when it wasn't raining it would have been good to have a place to sit outside, the table and bench outside the house were very small and not very comfortable.
The internet was good, whilst working but the data allowance ran out and was topped up for a day but still ran out for over a day.
There was only a limited set of saucepans, which made cooking a bit difficult.
The property is in an isolated location, it would have been great to have a better view , sadly the view was restricted.
Bathroom door lock was inadequate and poor quality

Lovely cottage close to lots to do for kids
Drive was very narrow, I have a zafira which isn’t particularly wide and got lots of scratches down the side of it 🙁
Water gave us tummy troubles, not a problem to buy bottled water but wish we’d known before, it was literally brown!
No where outside in way of seating area or bbq stand. Could do with the grass area cut and a picnic bench or something?
Not dirty by any standards but we did find stuff under the beds, lots of dog hair downstairs and hair in shower plug which gave the impression of it not having a through clean before our stay which was disappointing.

Lovely cottage, perfect for a relaxing break. Need a car due to location but perfect spot to visit Snowdon and surrounding areas. Accommodation has everything you need.

Horses around, hidden jam
Not easy entrance with family car
