Ok but would look elsewhere on next trip into Asheville

Location

The need to secure a security deposit and to use elevator your room key was required. Then the rooftop bar was not open during the posted hours.

Spacious stay outside of downtown Asheville

Room was very spacious, with great amenities like a full size fridge and a sink. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located moments away from downtown and next to a grocery store.

The rooms were not well soundproofed.

Great place, will be back.

Location was amazing, loved the hot tub accessibility that stayed open late. Great location to downtown. Room was clean and updated. I felt safe with the security to use the elevator you must scan your key.

The homeless people approached us in the parking lot.

Never Candlewood Again

The bed was comfortable

The shower was so slippery, it's a wonderl that no one has fallen and been very badly hurt. The coffee maker didn't work. The toaster didn't work. There was no wifi. The TV was a disappointment. We had a candlewood reserved at our next stop. We cancelled it and switched to another hotel

The roof top bar was a nice touch but it over looked a blood bank and ingles

when I originally booked it was for a king suit and I was willing to pay for that but when I got there we were given 2 queens and there was nothing they could do. Not ideal for honeymoon. The shower curtains where ripped and it smells like a nursing home in the main lobby area. I thought this would have been an upgraded place to stay from the online pictures and reviews but it didn’t feel like that and unfortunately was the worst part of our honeymoon

Great place

Very friendly staff and exceptional accommodations

Went to the hot tub by the pool, and parents were outside while their kids ran wild in the pool and hot tub area. One gentleman had to keep saying something to the small children for doing huge flips and dives into the pool.

There was no breakfast I was charged for it, fridge was not working, was given a different bed option.

It’s too hot to be hot in the room.

The staff was friendly and did their best to be helpful.

I hope you like it 74 degrees because your not getting a room cooler than that. If I knew my dad was controlling the thermostat, I would have stayed there.

Very disappointed due to being a IHG member for over twenty years.

The desk clerk upon arrival did not alert us to the extensive cost for our pet. I was not notified and charged an outrageous amount for her on the last day of our stay. The pet facility was also locked up our whole stay and not even made available. The cost was Over double what other IHG facilities charge. Upon leaving i expressed my concern in how it was handled and the young lady on the desk that morning was very disrespectful and showed an attitude that was very unprofessional. I’m sure nothing will come of this. I will definitely be writhing a letter to the CEO.

Beautiful, clean hotel with friendly staff

The hotel is very nice and looks as if it is new. The decor and furnishings are up to date and attractive. It was also very clean, including the grounds. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Also, the green rooftop was gorgeous and a beautiful place to relax. Highly recommend this hotel.

The only thing I did not like was the dog park. Since there is no grass on the property, it would have been nice if the dog park were equipped with artificial turf. Currently, wood chips are covering the ground and it looks dirty and unsanitary. One of my dogs refused to walk around inside the dog park.

A fun and friendly environment with beautiful and clean accommodations. Loved it!

The rooms were very nice and clean, we loved how big the fridge was compared to most hotels! The Pool and hot tub were great and the highlight was of course the roof top! We spent every evening up there enjoying the view. Would highly recommend staying here.

The only issue was with the rooftop bathrooms. The men’s room was locked the whole time and the women’s toilet wouldn’t flush unless you took the back off the toilet. Easy fixes in my opinion and definitely didn’t ruin the trip for us!

Love location , room was roomy and there were plenty of restaurants near by too choose from. The view from our room was beautiful. I will be staying there again.

We walked into our King room and it smelled like smoke went to desk and they moved us too another room with two Queen beds, which smelled much better.

the hot tub was more lukewarm than anything. floors were super thin and we could hear everything upstairs. no breakfast was a huge bummer
