Lake house in a perfect location on Wheeler lake in Rogersville, Al. 4 bedroom, 3 bath large living areas, and exterior wood decks to hangout and relax. There is a charcoal grill and smoker on site. Also a 2 boat slip boathouse, nestled inside Thornton slew. One mile from the house is a free public boat ramp. This place has world class Bass fishing, and Cat fishing. Wheeler Lake is an amazing lake for recreation. With Joe Wheeler and Lucy’s Barge and marina a short boat ride away. Rogersville is a great location a short drive between Florence and Huntsville, Al. This lake house is Newley remodeled. All new furniture and mattresses. There are two kayaks on site also.

Family and friends visited.. great location, on water as described. Pluses: on water, had canoe,kayak, boat house, comfortable rooms, plenty of towels, pots, pans. Minuses: house could use a deep cleaning.. spiders, bugs. The back deck was very sticky, so that automatically came in the house

Gorgeous view and perfect access to the lake. Neighborhood was beautiful with lots of friendly dogs dropping by to say hello and grab a few pats. Really enjoyed sitting on the back porch and taking in the sights and sounds. Very laid back and peaceful. Located a short drive from town but still beautifully situated in the country. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time. The location was perfect. It was close to the main water but in a cove where the kids could swim and play without worrying about boats coming by. We brought our kayaks and the kids floated around in the cove. The house was clean inside and just the right size for our family of 9. Will be going back for sure!

Nice large spaced out house. Great boat dock with 2 boat lifts and swim dock for plenty of swimmer's. Walk out your back door 40 feet and into the ankle deep water! Quiet neighborhood and the perfect place for a great stay! Beds not that great.

bed were all terrible, doors have a quarter inch gap arround them allows the cold air in. on the water like advertised but to cold to take advantage of.

Our family Christmas vacation, was absolutely amazing. The house is very spacious, very comfortable and sits on a beautiful canal that flows into the Tennessee River. So very peaceful. The rooms were all nice sized, and one of them has a big balcony that overlooks the canal as well. Not to mention the huge back porch. There are four bedrooms with queen size beds and a TV in all of them, also bunkbeds in the family room, which is pretty big, and a ping-pong table as well. But of course, having three bathrooms was definitely a plus. There’s a laundry room, and big kitchen. It was also very nice to see that they had set up a Christmas tree for us. All in all, I’d say it was a very, very pleasant stay. I would recommend for sure.

Lots of space and sleeping room! Fishermans delight. Walk in ankle deep great for the kids and dogs! Beautiful spot on the water and great views. No walk down and ling hauls up, just walk out the door. We absolutely loved this place and will be back!

The property was very appealing, the only problem was the mess left by previous renters. I paid a clean up fee for my stay and did not expect to have dirty dishes in the dishwasher and 2 full trash cans of stinky trash to smell until trash pick up on Tuesday. Also had to sweep porch and pick up trash there.

The house was overpriced. Needs a good deep cleaning ( inside and out). Beds are way too soft for my liking. Living room was very small considering the # of people tnis house sleeps. There were issues with mice. There were not enough pots, pans, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, utensils, in the kitchen. On arrival I found there was no tea pitcher so the owner brought one over, along with mice traps It was easy to get in touch with the owner. My family liked the kayak and canoe.

My family and I rented the property to take my husband fishing for his 60th birthday. We had an amazing time! Having a bedroom on the first floor was perfect for my 82 year old Father-in-Law. The rooms were spacious and perfect for our family. We loved using the fire pit area. But mostly we loved the porch with the great views and being able to fish off the private boat slip when they didn’t want to drive to the boat ramp. The water was already being drawn down for the winter so we could not use the boat slip but we knew that was probably going to be the case. We loved the time we spent here and are already planning on a return trip.

Very nice and cozy, loved the view, and the ability to dock our boat and JetSki’s. There was so much included that we didn’t expect, which was very nice. We will definitely be staying here again. The back porch was awesome and very peaceful!

We were fortunate to have 4 generations of family stay a week. The main floor bedroom was perfect for my 92 yo grandpa. We had fun with the kayak and canoe, swimming, grilling, and hanging out. Location was perfect for what our needs were. Owner was easy to reach when we had questions.

When we walked in, our first impression was that the pictures didn't do it justice. It's a nice open layout, first floor accommodations perfect for our elderly parents. The water was just steps from the back porch and you're on the river in a couple of minutes. The beds were a little soft for our liking but overall a great vacation!

Perfect spot for a family weekend trip. The house had everything we needed and was in a great location. Only thing that was a bit odd was that there is a neighborhood dog that likes to hang out under the back porch. He is very friendly and the owners called him home each time we asked. Something to be aware of if you’re planning on bringing your own pets.

We only stayed for 2 day but we all wish we could of stayed longer. The house was great! Lots of rooms and space. Great for a group. Outside was so beautiful. There are 2 kayaks one is made for a smaller person so keep that in mind. I highly recommend this vacation home, if we stay in the area again we will definitely stay here.

The home had everything we needed for a weekend away with the family. Plenty of room for three toddlers to play and they all loved being able to play outside by the lake. The water was low but my husband was able to do a little fishing from the dock. The mattresses were super comfortable! We all enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!
