About this house rental

Summary:
Welcome to the Blue Springs Oasis! This 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home is perfect for large groups, offering cozy sleeping spaces and ample parking. Enjoy an eat-in kitchen, onsite laundry, and proximity to groceries, restaurants, and shopping (Walmart Supercenter is 1.4 miles away). With easy highway access, downtown Huntsville is 20 minutes away, Alabama A&M is 3 miles, and the US Space & Rocket Center is under 8 miles. See both professional and real-time photos of the home.

The Space:
Our large driveway with room for 5-7 cars is ready to greet our guests and welcome all groups, large or small! Our four bedrooms and sleeper sofa in the living room allow us to host 16 guests comfortably!
After walking in the front door, you will find yourself in our laundry room. It's the perfect place to unload, kick off your shoes and leave the day/mess behind you! Our eat-in kitchen comes stocked with all of the basics you need to settle in and feel "at home." Bedroom number one with two twin-sized beds, bedroom number two with a king-size bed and a half bathroom, and bedroom number three with two full-size bunk beds and a futon can be found on the main level of our home. Guests will also have access to a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
Down the stairs, guests will find our open living room with a large flat-screen TV complete with Roku and ample seating. Oversized couches and a queen size sleeper sofa make it the perfect place to relax after a long day. Bedroom number four can also be found on the lower level with two full-size beds and another futon if needed. Guests who stay on the lower level will also be able to enjoy a private deck off bedroom number four and an additional exit that leads to the driveway.
With plenty of space inside and out, we hope you and your family enjoy our home as much as we do! If there is anything you might need during your stay, please do not hesitate to reach out! We look forward to hosting you!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to our entire home. Door code will be provided with check-in instructions. Drive way fits 5-7 cars.

The Neighborhood:
Roughly a mile or two to basic amenities such as grocery and restaurants. Easy access to major HWY making exploring the city easy and convenient no matter your destination!

Getting Around:
We recommend driving but Uber and Lyft service the area as well.

Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.

We like to provide our guests with maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free self check-in. Just know that we are a quick phone call or message away should you need anything during your stay!

No way to upload accurate photos of this place but the photos in the listing are NOT the same. Our family was here for a Tiger Rock tournament. We were forced to wait an extra 45 minutes after our check in time because they were replacing fans in the home. The fans removed were left on the side of the road in front of the house the entire stay. The grass was not cut. The property is NOT fully fenced, as it appears in the photos. The house was infested with roaches. I made the property manager aware of the roaches and the fact that there were no paper towels, no trash bags, not even in the trash cans!! And no items in the kitchen to use like mittens for the stove, towels, etc. I had to use rags from the bathroom to remove hot items from the oven the whole time we stayed there. The pool table is stained and uneven. The furniture is very used. Looks as though most of the items in this home were purchased from a thrift store. The dining table is rusting underneath the glass, as are the chairs with chipped paint. The bathroom door in one room wouldn’t close. The faucets in the two bathtubs were not secured to the wall. One bed was completely unmade. They only brought sheets & towels to replace the bedding. No linen for the futons. The beds were uncomfortable. The last night the AC went out but they could not come repair it. The glass breaking alarm also kept going off so we just left. The only good thing I can say is they always responded promptly to my messages.

The property was absolutely not ready. The heater was not work and we were freezing in the cold. The washer and dryer did not work. There was no heads up about it. The machine spurted water all around. We had to clean the place. The property manager and the property owners were absolutely irresponsive. They were giving excuses to not fix the problem. The stove was not working. With all these, we were very disappointed. Our communications with them were all done with Robot responses and they did not bother to have a proper response. In total it was more of a pain than a vacation. One of the kids fell sick because of the cold temperature at home. Please consider this as a red flag about this property and about the Patriot Family Homes. Thanks

Mold in both bathrooms, property was unsanitary and not fit to stay in. Our team walked in and left immediately…we didn’t even stay there.
