Great location, play area, breakfast
Decor very dated. Would be nice if the cafe/bar was open more/later. Would have been nice to use the breakfast garden in the evenings.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff couldn't be more attentive.
Couldn't fault it and it was everything you needed for a one night stay.
4.3
Excellent place to stay. Staff were polite and friendly. The accommodation was clean and well presented. Breakfast was excellent, probably one of the best cooked breakfasts I have had for a long time and enjoyed outside in the garden un the sunshine. Very happy to let our dog stay. Plenty of parking and a short walk to the beach with local amenities close by. Fully recommend a stay here if in the area.
Had to vacate by 10am and was looking for a later check out at 11am, however I was able to sit in the garden and work from there.

This was our third stay at the property. The breakfast was good and the service excellent.
Room size is rather cramped with no armchairs to sit in comfort.
The traffic noise did not bother us and we slept well on the comfortable bed.
Plenty of hot water for showering.

Clean, spacious, well maintained
Unfortunately the fridge didn’t seem to work on cooling down our drinks. We didn’t have much issue as it was cold outside so put drinks in the car

Nice and clean.lovely service from all the staff.nice full English breakfast.Plenty of parking. Dog friendly beach over the road to walk the dog.
Just little things ..too dark in the bathroom to have a wet shave just about managed.also a couple more hooks would be handy. The fridge was noisy when it kicks in every hour or so at night woke us up few times.

Not to busy, just right, I don't like busy hotels. Breakfast was lovely, staff girls really friendly. Owners were lovely too. Love the garden with the fish/carp and you could feed them aswell (which was fun).
That the bar closed at 5.00, obviously my friend and I do like a drink in the evening but luckily we purchased a bottle of wine from them to take back to our room.

No evening meals available

It was a nice comfortable room and bathroom with good facilities. The breakfasts were beautiful. The staff were amazing too. Great that dogs are allowed too. It was spotless too.
Nothing to moan about at all besides it would of been nice if food and drinks were available in evening too.

The rooms are very nice and clean and are tended to on a daily basis. They are also dog friendly which is very important to us. They have a stretch of grass that my dog could frolic in and he made a new friend in doing so.
The breakfast is amazing and sets you up for the day.
There was a fridge in our room which was really good as I drink a lot of water and prefer it ice cold.
There are no hooks in the room, apart from the bathroom door, so I think it would be a great idea to add those so you can hang your bags and jackets on it. There is a wardrobe but there are not many hangers so we tend to live out of the suitcase.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Let us check in earlier at 2 which was a huge help with a little one and a dog. Ate lunch and breakfast here both filling tasty and great value for money. Every single staff member was polite and helpful.
Nothing enjoyed everything.

Staff were pleasant
Breakfast was good
My partner adored the fish pond
Rooms were clean
Shower was very basic and to the side of the shower next to the toilet you can see a fist size hole in the wall viewing pipes
Also found a large (maybe house) spider down the side of the bed on the first day

Couldn’t go to breakfast because I was travelling with a puppy. I asked for a sausage sandwich to be sent over but this was a real disappointment. The sausages were supermarket type, very bland - I gave most of it to the dog.
The room itself was small, as was the shower room which was so claustrophobic I didn’t use it. The weather was very wet and there was only a small flimsy doormat to try to absorb any moisture carried in on shoes etc. so the floor was wet all of the time. The bed head didn’t appear to have been dusted for some time and was covered in dust - all in all a very uninspiring room. Perhaps I should have read the description better but I booked in a hurry - I thought I was staying in an Old Rectory, not a garden chalet.
