Beautiful large house with fantastic view of Bass Rock. Didn't want to go home, loved it here.

The location is excellent and the accommodation is clean and homely
We have further bookings with the same number of nights booked for the future here and this booking was more expensive.

Great location, easy walk to everything, and right on the sea. The pictures don't do the house credit - 2 lounges, sun room, great ensuite, great kitchen. Far exceeded expectations, and the family loved it
A label on the secret and hidden cutlery drawer!!!

A lovely comfortable house, super view, great location right across the road from the beach, has everything you need. Sitting room/dining room down stairs plenty space for family dining and lovely cozy living room upstairs to relax and snuggle with grand children in the evenings.
Bedding was super fresh and clean.
Lovely kitchen with everything you want for cooking.
We wish we could have stayed longer.

Location was excellent. About a 30 second stroll from the East beach. Five minute walk to the High Street was ideal as we were out of the hustle and bustle of the very centre of town.
Lovely substantial Victorian furniture in all the rooms was very in character and lent a solid homely feel to the house. Brand new kitchen had everything we could want. Two sitting rooms was a nice surprise.
Lovely wee snug/mini conservatory at the front door was cosy and warm even when there was no sun.
Having left a remote control behind I'm pleased to say that it was posted back to me within a couple of days of enquiring about it.
I didn't meet the lady owner myself but my wife reported that she was very pleasant and welcoming when she called round shortly after we arrived.
The two bathrooms were pretty grim and I imagine will be the next on the list for renovation. One with dingy blue 70's fittings and the other faded yellow. The silicon seal in all areas of the bathrooms was minging, very patchy and in dire need of attention. That one action would make the stay significantly more attractive. I have to say it was rather off-putting, luckily the rest of the house made up for it.
Unusually in my experience there was a lack of cleaning items like hand soap, washing up liquid, etc which required a trip to the shop soon after we arrived.
Offering a small starter or welcome pack of such would be a low cost but much appreciated gesture. We hadn't travelled far to get there but for anyone who'd arrived from afar it would be an irritation which could easily be avoided.
I don't mean these negative points to be too harsh but they're simple things which would create a more welcoming ambience to what is a lovely holiday stay.

Fabulous location. House great for two generations holidaying together. Just about everything you need there. Grandchildren were happy in what they called the “upper sitting room” - able to watch TV without being annoying.
The only drawback is that there is no parking for the house. You have to find a spot, and keep it!
Outside tap wasn’t working but one simple call to owners and they were there fixing it. Great service.

It's a good location, a minute walk from the beach and ten minutes from the town centre.
The kitchen was well fitted out and looks recently finished.
Although comfortable and adequate for our needs, the decor was old and tired.⁸

The location and views were amazing - 20 yards from the beach with views to Bass Rock and the Law. Very spacious house, ideal for my large family. Short walk to fish and chips, Co-Op, High Street etc.
Bathrooms were a little dated though perfectly functional. Back garden/yard was not very sightly but caught the evening sunshine nicely.
