Breakfast was amazing with an overwhelming number of options at the buffet and food cooked to order.
Pool and chillout areas were comfortable and relaxing, with drinks and snacks brought to our loungers.
Friendly staff that can't do enough for you.
Breath taking views of the sea right outside our balcony.
The cocktails in Kentia Bar were out of this world!
We could not have had a better stay in this hotel.

L’accueil chaleureux, les petites attentions du personnel, les équipements c’est vraiment top !
Il faut tout de même une voiture pour vous rendre à la plage ou même à puerto del Carmen

Staff were exceptional, so friendly, hard working and always smiling.
Room was beautiful and so spacious.
Cleaned a few times during the day and fresh towels given without even asking.
Breakfast was lovely. Buffet breakfast with eggs made to order and fresh coffee/teas.
Lunch was really good and bar staff were fantastic at making cocktails.
Everything was lovely apart from the use of sun loungers.
Guests should not be allowed put out towels on Sun loungers early morning to ‘reserve them’.
We came to the pool at midday one day. There was loads of beds all with towels on them. We observed numerous double loungers with towels on them vacant for nearly 2-3 hours. This should not be allowed especially when there aren’t enough beds for all guests.
We also witnessed a couple taking a double lounger each while other guests were aimlessly wandering looking for loungers and there was none free.
Signs should be displayed and a member of staff there to monitor the misuse of loungers.
No reserving beds and ONE single lounger per person.

I have been at this property a few times, and the experience has always been positive, hence return visits.
1. 10 minutes from the airport
2. Adults only, quiet, yet sociable
3. The staff is amazing. Friendly, helpful and smart
4. Rooms are clean and comfortable and well serviced
5. Food is very good. The breakfast buffet (and I’m not a fan of buffets) is worth the price per night. Staff is spectacular and the food is fresh, with loads of options.
6. Great gym
1. During peak times they are understaffed. If you try to get a drink at 2pm by the pool or ice for the room expect a wait. But it’s in the sun, so no big drama. The staff they have working are working very hard, they just need more of them.

It was so relaxing.
The junior suite didn’t have straight access to pool.

The room was nice well appointed and spacious. The bed was comfortable and everything was as you would expect for a 5-star hotel. The staff were very friendly and room service was exceptional. Breakfast buffet was excellent and our stay was quiet and enjoyable.
We booked the Michelin-styled restaurant which promised a really good treat toward the end of our stay and it turned out to be disappointing. The dining experience did not get off to a good start when our pre-dinner drink was hurried due to our table being available only for a short time. We had turned up exactly on time and were seated next to the tables in the bar. We were taken almost immediately to our table and seated and given the menus. A few tables were set and very few were occupied so not sure why the rush? I took it to be that the food was pre-prepared due to the time taken to present or something? A fixed menu was pretty much all that was available either tasting or plates. The theme appeared to be each dis as 3 in 1 presentation of the main item. Very confusing and needed the waitress to explain. We opted for 3 starters and 2 mains which duly arrived and although the first dishes were tasty and enjoyed. I felt the overall theme was complicated and overthought. As the remaining starter and mains appeared it was clear that the chef was more concerned with executing the dish with as many of his skills and abilities on display and not with the tastes and textures of the dish. The result was a mishmash of various excellent items all accompanied by emulsions foams mousse and containers that tasted of very little and were underseasoned.
Actually, the overall takeaway from the meal was that it lacked seasoning entirely. This was very disappointing since no salt or pepper were on the table and with this type of culinary style, it would almost be an insult to ask for it. I certainly needed it.
Having eaten at numerous famous and both Michelin-styled and starred restaurants I would suggest that whilst appearance is important, it is no substitute for taste.

Breakfast was incredible with a wide spread and eggs made to order.
Room was excellent with so many amenities - hot tub, separate balcony, good beds, nice sofa area. Great sea views.
Pool okay, smaller side.
At breakfast, coffee had to be ordered too, but came just from a machine - not sure why this couldn't be accessible as staff slow to take orders --> frustrating when you have to leave for a flight/day tour.
One member of the group arrived late as her flight was delayed - we informed reception and left a key for her. When she arrived at 1am, the member of staff at reception was obstructive and did not help her to the room. She had to call us and get one of us to open the door in the night, despite clear instruction earlier.
Some other guests and certain staff were rude to us.

The rooms are fabulous, really clean , food very good , lots zoo variety . my husband is coeliac and every effort was made to ensure he had a good variety of foods and alternatives if necessary
the only thing I didn’t like , was how people ‘ reserved ‘ beds by the pool first thing every morning , leaving beds with towels etc while they went away … I think not allowing this should be enforced .In a previous resort if you weren’t there your towels were moved !

The hotel was great. Delicious breakfast, delightful staff (Pedro who dealt with cases and room tours SO charming, friendly and helpful, and lovely pool area with heated pool. Lunch at pool bar easy and great.
With a car, very easy base to tour the beautiful island.
The town is not as upmarket as the hotel! Found couple of nice quieter restaurants on the sea and fun pubs etc
The walk to the beach is 12 mins; steep climb back to hotel - not a bother to us, but may be if not v fit guests.
The breakfast room is indoors - came for the sunshine so shame to be indoors for breakfast.

Beautiful hotel, situated at the top of a very steep hill, amazing views and fantastic facilities. The staff are excellent, right through from front of house, to cleaners, waiting staff and gardeners.
Some furniture items are a bit tired (chipped and water damaged, noisy bed, sticking door etc) and at the price you pay I would expect better.

From the welcome I received from reception and the bell boy (that's what he called himself) to the chocolates left on my bed every evening, I thought the staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. It was my birthday and I didn't tell them and they surprised me with a bottle of cava and cake.
I loved my room. it was so quiet and peaceful. It was like an oasis. I was there off peak so I don't know what my experience would be like at peak times.
The floral smells from the gardens were amazing. Everywhere someone was cleaning and working.
Breakfast was amazing. The choice superb.
One of the reviews I read before staying here said the evening meals were limited so I didn't choose half board. However, I did use the restaurant one evening and OMG! the quality of food was amazing. The price brilliant. I ate stuff I'd never tried before. I understood what the review meant in that it's not the typical functional spread with everything laid out. There's lots of stuff laid out but you get to choose the starter and the main in addition to this from about 3 different choices a day from a menu which is then made to order and then brought to you. I loved it. My steak was divine. But I like food that's been prepared with extra detail and flair and is an experience to eat over functional style self-service eating. And you can eat those dishes how many times you want. If you're looking for Indian or Chinese takeaway type food and burgers and chips and tapas etc there are plenty of those places at Playa del Carmen which is 35 min walk away. I went and ate at a lavish looking restaurant on the strip that a friend recommended and paid double for okay food. I actually regretted leaving the hotel!
If you're looking for a secluded stay where you're treated like royalty and fine dining come here. I was given five star treatment at a five star boutique hotel.
The pool size was smaller than I expected. More for dipping in rather than exercise but it wasn't crowded.
The room/lighting was a little dark as I enjoy reading at night.

Myself and my partner had a wonderful 2 night stay here for New Years and it did not disappoint. Isabel at front desk was so friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We had a beautiful, relaxing massage in the spa. The room completely exceeded our expectations, with a hot tub on the balcony. The outdoor effects in the room was just beautiful, you felt as if you were showering outdoors, with beautiful plants and greenery and a glass roof. We were escorted to our room and shown around. It was so spacious and comfortable. The breakfast consisted of buffet and freshly made orders which was all lovely. The grounds themselves are stunning, the pool area is nice and relaxing with big comfy sunbeds both around and up away from the pool. Amazing view over the harbor and sea. When relaxing by the pool you completely forget about the outside world and the busy strip, it is just pure blissful relaxation!
The hotel is at the top of a hill in the old town, this could be difficult for some people. Taxis in Lanzarote are incredibly cheap though.

Loved the atmosphere. Staff were so friendly and made our trip really special. The hotel itself is fantastic. The layout of the place as well as the decor and vibe, all sensational.
Lack of mirrors in the room! We had two mirrors between 4 girls and just made it hard when getting ready for a night out. The main bedroom had no mirrors at all. Which is a bit strange!

The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The facilities were exceptional. It was our 20th anniversary and the hotel made it so special. I can't wait to go back.
The rooms were spotless and the view was amazing.
If you want something special I would recommend this hotel.

great location, great place.
food and drinks were expensive, the hotel on the actual site is limited to a small menu - a very small menu. however, if you walk 2 mins down the road, your straight on the main strip where you’ll find loads of lovely restraunts at a great price! :)

Great accommodation very large suite. lovely surroundings, very comfy sunbeds and always available whatever the time. Excellent breakfast, very friendly helpful staff in all ares of the hotel lovely bar and drinks, highly recommend and would return.
It is at the top of a very steep hill. However, once we realised taxis were so cheap we would walk down and taxi back.
Tried the tasting menu in the gourmet restaurant. Been to various Michelin star tasting menus previously so knew it wouldn't be big plates but some courses were simply miniscule. We were not keen on texture and flavour and didn't feel it offered value for money. There was no theme or cohesion and needs a rethink. In contrast the previous night we tried the bar food tapas style and it was all divine and some absolute taste sensations so a little mixed bag.
