Park and lake location, silence and welcoming staff, car parking
Narrow and steep stairs, synthetic carpet flooring everywhere

Lovely family-run hotel. Hotel was run by a very sweet Indian family who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Also love that the hotel was pet friendly and has a low nightly pet fee. Also, conveniently located on the 8 tram line, which allowed us to enjoy all our favorite places in residential Brussels.
We had a shared porch, and unfortunately the guests next door spent most of the first night smoking by our window. Not the establishment’s fault, but annoying that other guests were so inconsiderate. (Luckily, they left that first night.)

Great staff. Lovely location with park nearby and right next to bus and tram. Quiet street and comfortable basic rooms. Breakfast was fine, with a bonus of gracious host and freshly prepared eggs.

The staff is very kind.
There is a little fridge in the room, but no cup, no glass. It's strange. Everything was borrowed from dining room.

Staff was pleasant, the hotel was clean, neat, functional, heating workingwell, bathroom was renovated and working well
Outdated room, old bed, no iron in the room

the location is ok
the pillow cases are shorter than the pillows and I found other guest’s hairs entangled in the pillow’s foam.
breakfast is basic.

The hotel is old and looks like a family-run hotel, which I liked.
The room was clean and was being cleaned everyday.
The location is good if you’re interested in the area (the forest) or here for work (e.g. conference nearby). There’s a nice Indian restaurant attached to the hotel.
You can get by on the bus (bus stop exactly outside the hotel) or by the tram (tram stop is across the road from the hotel.
The Wi-Fi. Even though they had “wifi” it wasn’t working at all and kept disconnecting. It’s a shame because I was there for a conference and couldn’t use it at all. The solution is also simple and I think they simply need a new router.

The personal was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was of good quality.
The cleaning could improve.

The staff and of course, the greenest and most expensive, most safe district of Brussels are the highlights.
However, they have very unique standards of technical solutions and cleanliness.

The staff were very friendly and amenable. Lovely room with a fan. Very good breakfast. Location was beautiful. Peaceful with a park nearby. We were able to park just outside. The restaurant attached to the the hotel had lovely food and we were able to eat in the beautifully lit garden.
Tea making facilities in the room would have been good

Characterful and colorful place around a nice quiet area with a beautiful park near by. Restaurants and such just behind the corner. Also direct tram line to the center of Brussels.
Hotel is very dated and therefore dusty and a bit smelly. Big no were the old covers which were seemingly stained. Bathroom was a disaster but luckily shower did it’s job. Airco (very old so we didn’t use it) had leaked liquid on the wall and bathroom sink was blocked. Walls were paper thin and unfortunately we had upstairs neighbors that were noisy.

Beautiful green area, lovely hotel, friendly staff

The building is very beautiful, though this is a matter of personal taste, the interior is very nice and the room clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The staff was nice and even though we left early it wasn't due to the hotel. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it did smell good.
To enter the hotel part you need to ring the doorbell, it feels a little awkward and I'd personally prefer my own key for this.
The room was very hot, this was due to the weather but it's quite difficult to cool the room down again.
They advertise free private parking but unfortunately it was only available during the evening and on the street, during the day you'll either get a fine or have to change your parking disc every few hours.
