Pretty good, just the ciggarette smell was offputting

Parcarea de 12 leva pe 24 ore fix in fața hotelului, poziție în centru pe stradă pietonală,lift,cameră spațioasă cu mobilier retro,pat comod,Varna un oraș foarte plăcut.

Als Fünfsternehotel entsprach es nicht dem in dieser Kategorie üblichen Standart!

Ruhige, trotzde sehr zentrale Lage, grosse Zimmer im Stil eines alten Grand Hotels. Alles sehr sauber un gepflegt.

Es gab kein Frühstück und das haben wir erst im Hotel erfahren! Wenn wir das im voraus gewusst hätten, hätten wir uns für eine andere Unterkunft entschieden. Unsere Zimmerfenster im 4. Stock liessen sich "aus Sicherheitsgründen" nicht öffnen, das hat uns sehr gestört. Wir haben uns u.a. für dieses Hotel entschieden (ruhige lage) um mit offenen Fenstern schlafen zu können.

A comfortable stay

I stayed at this comfortable, well located hotel for 7 nights - it is well positioned within easy walking distance of Varna's major attractions. My studio room was very spacious and well appointed, beautifully furnished with period peices. The a-la-carte breakfast offerings (included in my room rate) were great.

I was surprised to discover that only one bottle of complimentary water was supplied during my entire stay - it has been my experience in every other hotel I have stayed in that this is replenished on a daily basis. Also, I'd suggest going out for coffee, a long black at the hotel costs 6 lev!

Rooms are large (albeit dark with minimal lighting). windows don’t open. great location

Rooms are dark, windows are tiny and don’t fully open. The AC and the bathroom fan are incredibly loud. mattress in the room was as thin as paper with zero support one duvet in the room didn’t have a duvet cover. this is dirty towels provided had holes in them bathroom sink and bathtub drains did not drain properly. toilet paper and tissue provided may as well be sandpaper. horrific quality. great if you’re looking to get a rash staff quality is hit and miss. some staff are great, others are outright rude. the hotel apparently dates back to the 1930’s, and probably the furniture , mattress, and everything as well hasn’t been changed in 90 years. marketed as a 5 star - not sure who or how this rating was given. this is a 2-star at best.

The hotel is a bit old and overpriced with the hotel conditions and facilities. price for breakfast is high as well with limited choices

Nice location - nice hotel but a bit sad atmosphere ....

The great location and an amazing breakfast. The size of the room

The fact that the bed was broken and we had to fixe it ourselves. There was a whole in the bed cover.... everything was kind of "unmotivated" - what a pity! The staff at breakfast who seemed so unmotivated too.

The hotel is a museum but as I have been said they provide room and breakfast . The tap was broken it symbolizes. The parking wasnt free. The hotel is not 5 stars from my point of view.

Why is the hotel not recommended!

Location

It's not a 5 stars hotel!! Poor breakfast, very slow internet and not stable, no room service at night, at night the hotel is dark and unpleasant, There is no reference to the small details that improve the customer's experience of staying at the hotel. In short- not recommended at ALL!

Overall it was very good!

Kind staff and it was clean.

No parking. If coming by car you’ll have to pay additionally and if there aren’t available spots nearby the hotel, you will have to look where to park elsewhere.

I will not come to the hotel anymore

I liked the breakfast, especially the omelet

During the first night of my staying there, I could not sleep because of the 'stormy sex night' of the neighbors upstairs. When I asked the female worker at the reception to change the room, she refused me. The next night it happened again. As a reason, I came back home with a strong headache and disappointment. I will not come to the hotel anymore

Great place to stay in Varna

Everything was amazingly charming from the minute the taxi pulled up, Lovely welcome although 2am Very pleasant young man greeted us The room was fabulous, huge comfy bed, clean linen Staff all very friendly and extremely helpful

The breakfast was a little sparse in Variety but ok the young man on our 1st morning was very pleasant but the girl on the 2nd morning was a little ☹️ I asked for some hot water as it was cold for the tea , but i think she didn't like a complaint , but she didn't spoil our stay, it was fab
