Disappointing

Ran out of 3 items on restaurant menu, no prosecco by the glass so had to buy a bottle, no tips on snooker cues so couldnt play, towels not supplied free for swimming pool had to pay £2 each,

arrived on Friday about 3.30pm as we were booking in we were told there was no restaurant or bar facilities as the hotel was closing on Sunday and the staff had only been told on Thursday

convenient

the convenience to the hospital

due to a conference with about 25-30 folk they did not serve evening meals ,which was very frustrating for iwould think all other guests. I presume they knew in at advance of the conference so why not have extra staff on, also they closed the bar to all will conference guests where having THEIR dinner which is totally inconsiderate of all other paying guests,

Lovely hotel , lovely staff , highly recommend

fantastic location for our needs , staff were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble, breakfast was outstanding, with lots of choice , rooms were nice , clean and beds comfortable.

No internet connection in the rooms was really disappointing especially as we had some work to do.

Good location, friendly staff, good food, good bar. Bed was comfortable and functional.

Room was dissapointing, not dirty but very run down. One small electric panel heater in the room left it cold and damp. The advertised WiFi was nonexistent in this particular area of the hotel, and there was no real mobile reception. It shouldn't be advertised on the website that there is WiFi available 'in all areas'.

Lovely hotel, staff great, food good but bedrooms need to be upgraded

The dinner and breakfast were excellent. the communal spaces are very well presented the staff was friendly and professional. The only downside was the room. It was above the kitchen and there was a fan going all evening and the walls were so thin I could hear people talking until the early hours in the next rooms. I really like the hotel and the hotel group from what I have learned. I would happily pay a little more for a better room if there was better sound insulation and comfort. The earplugs were used which was a saving grace. I would come back for everything apart from the bedroom.

It was quiet, staff were friendly, comfy bed.

The breakfast was tasteless and overpriced. I booked it having searched for a hotel with pool and didn’t realise it was closed until I had already paid.

good sized rooms, all the facilities you need and more, amazing food and staff were so friendly! bed was very comfortable.

although we enjoyed our stay, very quiet and peaceful. Hogmanay function was good. just a pity no food was available out

location, very helpful and friendly staff. nice hotel. nice grounds to have a wee explore.

The hotel was generally cold, no heating on apart from in your room. walls were paper thin. no meals provided apart from breakfast which was not worth the price. the leisure facilities were not open.

The staff were super friendly and helpful always with a smile, especially on Christmas Day. Our breakfast meals were amazing and a lovely selection on the buffet.

The room I was in had stains on the Ceiling and the bed was very uncomfortable. The taps didn't work very well and the shower water pressure was terrible. It need updating

The bed was comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The place was clean. There was a nice tray with tea and coffee on. The view was nice and scenic.

It was cold in the room would of like a blanket to put on bed. The shower was cold. The bathroom door opened when anyone walked by outside.

Lovely hotel .

Very comfortable beds . The staff were superb , including the manager . They were all very obliging and charming .

Would have been great to have the restaurant open however it was closed for the weekend . Maintainence on the pool meant it wasn't open during our stay .

Sauna and gym were very handy

Bedroom was smelly, wifi did not reach bedroom, walls were apper thin and hotel was very noisy at nights
