About this house rental
Complete with two decks overlooking the ocean and boardwalk access to a private beach, this house is perfect for groups seeking a fun-filled vacation in a house with all the amenities of home and more, with a community restaurant and bar, pool, lazy river, and hot tub!
The house is located at the beautiful Pointe West resort on the west end of Galveston Island. Pointe West is a master planned development with private beach and is a one-of-a-kind location on the island. The house is less than a 2-minute walk to the beach and we are a 20 minute walk to the Beach Club, or a 5 minute drive. The Beach Club is truly a resort, with pools, a lazy river, hot tub, nature walk, restaurant, bar, fitness center, etc. The Beach Club charges $15.00 per person (4 and older) for the length of your stay.

Walk upstairs from the driveway to access 3 of the 4 bedrooms. Cable TV in the living room and the master bedroom for your enjoyment. Both TV's are also equipped with Netflix / Roku TV's. You'll find wireless high-speed internet (free wifi) throughout the home.
The master bedroom offers a private balcony with a seating area and your own Nespresso in the master bath so you can have coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean without disturbing the rest of the family. The bathroom has been completely remodeled and offers a Japanese soaking tub, marble counter tops and a rain shower head. Feel free to pack light, we have a washer and dryer just down the hall for you to do a load of laundry.
On the main living area you will find an elegantly designed, open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen area. Enjoy the fully-remodeled kitchen, complete with professional appliances, marble countertops and all the necessary dishware, flatware, and spices needed to create a memorable meal. We have a Ninja blender to make great margaritas or smoothies. There is a Kitchenaid stand mixer to help make your feast. Relish in your home cooked meals gathered around the dining room table, kitchen island or outside on the spacious deck with comfortable patio furniture. Kitchen includes a regular Cuisinart coffee pot with hot water dispenser, plus a personal Keurig. You can also treat yourself to delivery from one of the local restaurants or eat in at the many local fresh seafood restaurants close-by.
Downstairs in the outdoor closet you will find everything you need for the beach; chairs, canopy tent, boogie boards and a wagon to take it all with you. You will also find a patio underneath the house complete with picnic table (1 for adults 1 for kids), and a charcoal grill for you to enjoy. There is an outdoor shower for you to rinse off sand before heading back upstairs.
For those of you with small children, we also have a high chair, 2 pack-n-plays and baby gates for your convenience, along with a selection of kids dishes, cups, plates, and silverware. Bunk room includes an Amazon Alexa to play lullabies to help young kids sleep.
Seven Seas Grocery Store is the closest fully stocked grocery store and is 8 miles from the house. The Strand, Pleasure Pier, Academy Sports, Walmart, Randalls, and the rest of Galveston is approximately 30 minutes from the house.

Veronica's luxury beach house is one of the best, if not THE best one around Pointe West as we have stayed in quite a few over the years. It was clean, well maintained and cared for. We had a great time as we always do, but this house and location are perfect for beach access and enjoying the beach. It’s also perfect for families with little ones, as they thought of everything from baby gates, kid friendly dishes/cups, pack-n-plays, and beach toys!
We took advantage of the outside seating for dinners on the patio.
We will definitely consider staying there in the future!

This home is well appointed and was perfect for our family vacation! Every couple had their own bathroom, and the kids had a separate bathroom in their room too. We had 3 generations of our family in the house, and it never felt cramped or crowded. They had everything you could possibly need for cooking, and a ton of beach items that you can use. It’s so close to the beach, and the beach was never super crowded like the public beaches next to this development. The view was stunning, and we had some spectacular sunsets from the front yard. I highly recommend!

We had the best time at this WELL STOCKED property. Our group was basically a mini family reunion. My parents, my brother and I and our families. There was ample space to sit around and talk, a seriously stocked kitchen to make meals together and even some fun little things that the kids could do like coloring books and Jenga. There was SO MUCH stuff to use to take to the beach! Beach chairs for everyone, all kids of beach toys and squirt guns. There were even beach towels AND a beach bag to carry everything in. Perfect location for what we were doing. Very clean, quick communication with owners, perfect rental experience!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home; the views of the beach are beautiful. The decor is well done and comfortable. The hosts were so nice to work with, letting us in a bit early to accommodate a 93 year old. We will stay there again!

Excellent house. Bright, cheerful, nicely decorated, nicely outfitted rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. The view, proximity to the beach, and outdoor spaces were amazing! My girlfriends and I spent so much time with coffee and wine at the dining table on the back catching up. We also lucked out and had a full lunar eclipse which we were able to view perfectly from the house and beach! The amenities for the neighborhood are very nice, also, including the restaurant. The house is only a few minutes from the state park which is really pretty and great for bird watching. You absolutely need a car to stay here as the best grocery is 30 minutes away as is the historic and shopping area of Galveston. We had fun eating at the numerous seafood restaurants, shopping boutiques in town, and the Moody mansion tour is enjoyable also! I look forward to staying here again!

This beautiful beachfront house is located in pristine corner at the end of Galveston Island. The views from the balconies are spectacular. This is a perfect home to gather with friends and family. We love the fact that this beach is clean, wide, quiet and car free. The kitchen is a chef’s dream with top-notch appliances, and the house offers a perfect layout to share memories with the people you love. We’ll be back.

We loved this property and the location to the beach. It was very spacious and very clean which is important to our family. A huge plus was the large assortment of appliances to use, pots & pans and dinnerware. Also, the use of beach lounging items such as the wagon (awesome to haul our things), chairs and toys for the children.

We come to this area for the quiet, no car beach. It's safe for the kids and plenty of space to set up no matter what time you get moving. The house was just as peaceful. It had everything we could need in the kitchen and for the beach. It feels upscale, but we didn't have to worry about moving breakable things away from the little kids. The view is great and there's lot of spaces to take it all in. Everything we expected from the pictures and description (and prior comments) matched our experience. We were definitely able to relax and recharge, while the kids got every last moment of summer vacation before school starts.

Gorgeous house, incredible stay
I can't overstate how perfect the house is. It easily accommodated four kids and three adults with room for more. It's a very short walk to the beach from the property. The master bath and dining table have incredible views of the beach. Highly recommend and look forward to staying there in the future.

Can't Wait To Go Back
This was a perfect summer vacation home for my family. The bedrooms were laid out well for all of us. The view from the back porch was picture perfect. The beaches were easily accessible. The little ones had fun looking for crabs at night. We purchased the wrist bands to swim at the club. The smaller lazy river pool was a hidden treasure. The house felt welcoming and comfortable from the first day to the last day.

Overall impression was very good! I rated the cleanliness a three because the main windows on the top floor were dirty, it’s the floor with the main view so it was a bit disappointing. My husband doesn’t clean windows , but he was doing exactly that the first morning we got up , because he wanted to enjoy the view a little better. Also, one of the cook ware pans had oil all over it, not sure if it it was for seasoning or just got missed with the cleaning, idk, but wanted to mention for those of you that are clean freaks. In spite of these two things our stay we great.! The kitchen had EVERYTHING. One of the best stocked kitchens I’ve seen in a VRBO. Cookware looked new, and the knives were sharp! Comfortable beds, nice linens and nice plush beach towels! You don’t often see that in a rental. Owners definitely paid attention to the details. We had our two granddaughters with us and they enjoyed boogie boarding in the ocean, the bunk room, puzzles, pool floats in the lazy river and the hammocks! All in all a wonderful week ,where lots of memories were made! If we stay in this community again we will use the beach service that sets up a cabana and chairs and then takes it down for you . This home provided a canapy and several chairs. We’re just getting too old to hall all that stuff to the beach!

This house was perfect for our family. We loved how close it was to the beach walkover and appreciated how stocked it was with beach chairs and a canopy. The owners were great too. On the first night we had AC issues, but they quickly responded and went above and beyond to make it right. We highly recommend this house and would stay there again for sure.

We stayed in this property over spring break and had a great vacation! The house is located in a nice community with a quiet and clean beach. The house was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, with welcoming touches like soaps and shampoos for the guests. We were surprised by how well the kitchen was stocked, with high end appliances, cutlery and cookware. There were plenty of items for families with kids - we used the pack and play, high chair, and kids dishes. We also made good use of the beach gear and toys - the wagon was a HUGE help! The smart tv with guest mode made logging in and out of streaming accounts convenient and secure. Check in/check out was a breeze - no keys to keep up with or trade hands throughout the day.
Overall, we had a great stay and would love to rent this property again. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Family Time!
The home is beautiful. Perfect layout for us. I have MS and it was a short walk to the beach to collect shells, fly kites and build sandcastles with the grand children. I absolutely loved staying in the master with spectacular views and such nice amenities. The home had plenty of cookware and toys for the children to play with on the beach and chairs for the adults. We loved sitting out on the decks reading or swinging in the hammock downstairs. Our family loved it!

Awesome Beach Property
We would definitely want to book with this property & owners again! Our family enjoyed a wonderful beach experience & special memories were made. The view is spectacular and I personally enjoyed watching the glorious sunrise with my grandchildren.
The owners were quick to return messages and very helpful on recommendations around the area.
Note that mosquitoes are a part of life there. Just bring a strong repellent for unloading & loading up your vehicle. They were not a problem on the upper deck beach view.

Truly perfect, fully stocked and beautiful. reviewers have said it all, so let me just add a few quick thioughts.
The house has everything, here is what you won’t need to bring:
Crock pot, 10’ x 10’ beach canopy, beach towels, chairs & toys, oil, coffee, spices, sugar, books, games, wagon. There is even an ice maker and water filter and everything you would need for a baby. Really! So nice just to pack clothes and food.
We bought but never used pool wrist bands. House is too perfect to need anything else!

Fantastic!!
My family and I drove from Nebraska to Galveston for the week. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Veronica and Stuart’s beach house. It is as beautiful and inviting as the pictures show. The house is very family-friendly for those traveling with littles. The pack n play, baby gate, and high chair were a must for our family and made our travels so much easier. The beach toys and gear were plentiful and we got great use out of it all. Access to the beach couldn’t have been simpler. The pools at the Pointe West Beach Club were great for a change of pace when the kids wanted to jump in or float in the lazy river. The fitness center lacked towels, hand sanitizer and the equipment is ok (old), but worked. Laundry on the first level with the bedrooms was so nice. We’re headed home with clean clothes instead of having to do laundry when we get home.
Veronica and Stuart were great to communicate with. We didn’t have any issues (outside of the master bathtub drain) or problems. We hope to stay again some day and would highly recommend this fantastic house!!!!

Beautiful, close to the water
This is one of the best stocked, most beautifully appointed rentals we have stayed in. It was comfortable and really close to the beach! The beach closet was well stocked with toys, chairs and we loved using the wagon to tote everything back and forth.

The pictures are right on point. Only the pictures do not do that house justice! It was beyond PERFECT! We always take things in case the home is not fully stocked. Only this house had it ALL! I can’t say enough good things about this house. I would stay there over and over again. The adults and teens all had fun. There were 4 bedrooms and there were 8 of us and at no time did we feel that we were crowed. The house is very spacious. Checking in was perfect.
