A real honeymoon accommodation.

The staff are like your tour guide there, you can reserve anything you want on the island through them. They take care of you and your vacation. The Caves are different and we took the one with a whirpool. It was great! It was very big like a suite with a small kitchen and a fridge. The location is also amazing and sunset is just perfect from the Terrace of the room or the hotel terrace.

In the Cave we stayed in is the disadvantage that you have neighbors with just 50 cm wide fence made from plants, flowers. It depends on your luck how those neighbors will be like and how they will behave. They are actually staying in completely another hotel but still staying just beside you that your privacy might be affected.

3rd time in Santorini wa a lovely but realizing that we are getting less for our money each time.

The views and breakfast were great! Daily visits from the local kittens were something we looked forward too. Sunsets are always unmatched in Oia.

I will probably go to a resort or international chain establishment next time, unfortunately. The personal pool was quite dirty despite getting seemingly cleaned every morning. Only felt comfortable using it a couple times. The bathroom was dark and damp. It just felt a bit uncomfortable and unclean for me. I didn’t like we had to go to the office to select breakfast options each morning. With breakfast, they should bring the form to choose the following day’s breakfast, instead of us having to go to reception. I also did t like being in a room very far down the cliff - it was exercise just leaving the room every time :D this place is not for those with mobility issues or wanting a physically relaxing experience. Especially since there are no real amenities with this place compared to others: no massage services, no common pool area. Just a common patio where you can order drinks. For massage and larger pool, we just went to other luxury villas in Oia, like Mystique, and found a local beach.

Handy short walk into Oia for many Instagram pictures. Room service for dinner was very good and very good value. Breakfast on the terrace of your room (ordered day before from good options) overlooking the volcano/caldera in the sun is sublime. Food qulaity very good. Staff all helpful and work very hard, see your two 23kg suitcases carried by one man from the car park and down all the steps to your room is incredible.

Steps but cant avoid these.

location and customer service was fantastic!!

it wasn’t clear the bed set up . we could not use one of the beds because it was a climb up a steep ladder to access it. One bedroom had a Queen and twin in same room. My party of 4 would have likely chosen a different type room had we known the setup.

The best of the best

we loved everything! The hosts and concierge were truly wonderful people. So helpful and sweet. Dear Vicki helped us with cabs, dinner ideas, booked us a couples massage in our cave, helped us with everything! Not to mention the gentlemen who carried our luggage through the streets of Oia and delivered our breakfast every morning - such sweet men. The bed was so comfortable, the largest bathroom we’ve had in Europe and the room service was delicious & so fast. Not to mention the property is quite large and has the BEST view of the Santorini sunset. We did a couples photoshoot one night and our photographer said that it was one of the best properties she had seen for views & sunsets. We loved our time here, couldn’t recommend it more.

We saw the most beautiful sunset privately from our balcony.

Most kind hosts and amazing villa providing an exceptional stay.

Marizan is an amazing property located at the top of Oia by the windmills providing exceptional sunset views away from the crowds. The owners and staff genuinely care about their guests and treated me like family. The sunset villa is large and comfortable with a shared terrace separated by planters overlooking the sea. The views from Marizan are breathtaking. Delicious multi-course breakfasts were served on my terrace each morning by friendly Marizan staff. Quick room service was available to obtain tasty drinks and appetizers for watching the gorgeous sunsets. Candles were lit on the terrace at night and the villa and terraces were kept incredibly clean. Faye arranged for spectacular tours, including a wine tour and private tour of the island, and provided perfect restaurant recommendations matching my tastes. She and all of the Marizan team are lovely people making the stay exceptional. The service was outstanding matching the beautiful views.

I was very sad to leave beautiful Marizan.

Excellent stay and and location. Everything was perfect from the day we arrived till departure. A big shout out to our host Zanet! She explained every bit about the island, how to travel in and around , gave us suggestions about good restaurants ( which we actually tried and was good and budget friendly). Big thanks to the guy who helped us in carrying out luggage all the way up and down to our hotel. The view from our room!! It was magical!!! This is the best property if you want an unobstructed view of sunset, we enjoyed every bit of sunset relaxing in private hot tub. Would definitely recommend this property and looking forward to return back next summer 😊

We had the tranquility of our own villa with gorgeous sunset view, large terrace & spacious interior

We were met at the Santorini airport by private transfer and driven directly to Marizan Villas. We were greeted immediately upon arrival at reception by Zanet who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We loved the peace and quiet of our room location which had unobstructed views of the sunset and caldera without the tourist crowds. A large breakfast selection was served each morning on the terrace, more than enough to get your day started. There was a little kitchen area in the villa with refrig, sink & coffee/kettle set up, but no utensils provided if you have leftovers, or in our case hors d’oeuvres with wine for ‘hot tub sunset hour.’ Overall a comfy stay, GREAT restaurants (thx again Zanet!) and a welcome change from the busy cities and routines of our vacation.

Amazing!

The view was exceptional, exactly like in the pictures. you can just sit in the room and watch it all day. We had the best view of the great oia sunset. The staff was super friendly and helpful, recommended alot of very good restaurants/beaches/boat trip The breakfast was served daily to our balcony, it was very good and tasty!

Too much stairs :D expect to be hiking to and from your room everyday.

Wonderful staff, incredible service, great breakfast choices with plenty of food included with the room fee, breakfast placed on our terrace each morning. Reception was extremely helpful describing the map of the area and arranging transportation for us and other activities we were interested in. Can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was.

Just not enough hot water for three of us to shower one after the other.

We booked the apartment with the terrace, hot tub and view of the caldera - I recommend booking this apartment as it is at the bottom and not overlooked by other people / has the best sunset views in Oia without leaving your room! The room and terrace were extremely clean and the staff were extremely helpful with any requests. I would recommended this.

No problems at all - just be aware it is lots of steps up and down to the apartments in Oia in general.

A true Paradise!

Everything - the stunning location, the wonderful, friendly staff, the delicious food and the villa itself. The Santorini sunsets were truly magnificent and we had a front row seat of the sunset every evening on our villa terrace. It was definitely one of the nicest, relaxing holidays we’ve ever had.
