An attractively and imaginatively furnished BnB in the heart of historic Natchez, MS. The owners are very thoughtfully kind and have included unexpected welcome treats and wine for their guests. All aspects of the cottage and its amenities are immaculately clean and well cared for. I recommend the Terrace Carriage House whole-heartedly and would gladly stay here again on a return trip to this beautiful and charming city.

This Carriage house is fantastic! The antiques and eclectic decor is an experience all on its own, there’s so much to look at and admire just inside. The grounds are well maintained and stunning! The owners were very kind and welcoming. The bed is comfy and the space is ample for two (or three). Snacks, sweets, soft drinks, and waters were available in the kitchen, the bathroom was also stocked! This little gem is an antiquing, maximalists dream! We’re already planning our next trip to Natchez and plan on staying here again, for the lovely space and proximity to the best spots in town.

This was the first time I took such a long trip by myself, & this sweet place was perfect for me! I could live here! My hosts were so friendly & helpful. And I appreciated all the suggestion for things to do, places to go & restaurants. I will definitely revisit this place if ever in the area again!

We had the best time on our weekend getaway in Natchez. The location of this carriage house was perfect to walk around downtown. Close to restaurants, brewery, the river, and shops. We love the owners in the main house. Super friendly and was great talking with them. If my husband and I can sneak away for another weekend in Natchez we would stay here again!

We needed one night, because we couldn’t get into the other VRBO until the next day. This one was available and close to restaurants. We were really amazed at all the antique decor! Wow! No place for little kids! Also the elderly needs to be extra cautious with several rugs and little step ups going into the different rooms. But the cottage and the grounds itself are gorgeous! The host was very nice and welcomed us right away since he lives next door.

We enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. It was just as described in the listing. When we arrived the owner was just finishing up cleaning. The refrigerator was stocked with water, wine, sodas and tamales. There were snacks available also. The cottage was rustic and packed with collectables. The location was perfect to downtown Natchez. The only minor negative was it could have used a good dusting. Overall,, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

I could not have a more relaxing southern experience. The bed was comfy and plush. The towels were amazingly soft and beyond fluffy. I enjoyed reading on the veranda of the main house and sharing time with the owners of an evening. Quintessential southern grace and charm!

We had a wonderful stay! So many fun and interesting things to look at around the house. The location is AMAZING! We love visiting Natchez and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the carriage house.

Overall the property was very nice. I do feel that the living room furniture is worn and uncomfortable to relax in and needs updating for comfort of guest. The shower head was a bullet nozzle type. I would recommend a newer type shower head. With or without changes we would consider returning. The Host was great and gave us a tour of their house which was very generous!

The carriage house was a lovely step back in time and it is filled with eclectic artifacts. Bed was very comfortable. There is a charming courtyard and plenty of space for our dog. Our hosts were so helpful and kind. Their dogs are darling. The restaurants and shops just a few minutes’ walk. We would love to return.

The carriage house was such a neat property. It was convenient to town, and easy to get to. Having designated parking was a nice perk. Jim introduced himself upon our arrival and let us know he was nearby if needed. The decor was exceptional. The kitchen had all the basics and a great French press, and the snacks were a wonderful addition. Both beds were very comfortable.

We had the best experience in this uniquely decorated home. James and Geoff were so kind, fun and generous. They made sure we had everything we needed and gave excellent recommendations for dining and activities. We were in the heart of the historic district and only 3 blocks from the Mississippi River. We could walk to so many places and felt very safe. If we are blessed enough to go back, we would definitely stay there again.

This was our first trip to Natchez MS and we loved our carriage house accommodations.We met and enjoyed the property owners and they were wonderful people. They own a house that was on the Fall Pilgrimage Tour and we were thrilled to be invited in for a tour and a piano concert as well. We enjoyed the activities we had planned and eating at three locally owned restaurants as well. The carriage house was pet friendly and our small dog enjoyed her stay as well. The people are very friendly and I met a lot of neighbors on my daily walks with my dog. I hope to get back soon!

Terrace Coach House is a gem of a property. Great location convenient to historic homes, Mississippi River bluff and downtown. The space is lavishly decorated and the kitchen is outfitted with all the needed conveniences. Special “goodies” included snacks, soft drinks & wine. A lovely place!!

We loved Carriage House! The house was uniquely decorated, had brick and wood floors and beautiful antiques. Perfect location near downtown and surrounded by beautiful old houses. It was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The host was very friendly checked to make sure we had what we needed. Would love to stay there again.

The Terrace Cottage was very charming and in a perfect location. The cottage had everything we needed and extras like coffee, snacks and fresh fruit and muffins. We also had a tour of the lovely home by the homeowner, which was on Natchez spring pilgrimage tour. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Natchez and would definitely stay at terrace cottage again!

Ignore the picture that comes along with advertisement to this rental, which makes the property look like a loading dock. This quaint, well-appointed brick “carriage” house is a dream. On the property of one of Natchez’s gorgeous historical houses, we were floored at what effort the owners went to create an environment that is both “homey” and eclectic, clean yet rustic, fun and nostalgic, and most importantly: comfortable. If you are a couple (or a family of three) interested locating to a place that is “ground -zero” Natchez, this “loading dock” is just the place for you! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The carriage house was such a delight not only in appearance but in comfort. Walking in, we were delighted with all the antiques and curios. Our car stayed parked and we enjoyed walks to downtown for shopping and meals. Enjoyed strolling the neighborhood and getting a close up view of all the historic homes. And the best part of the trip was meeting the owners and getting a tour of their historic home which was phenomenal. Will definitely be returning.

We love this place! This was our second stay here, and everything was perfect. Cozy, comfortable cottage, in a perfect location, within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, historic sites and the bluff overlooking the river. The hosts are gracious and hospitable and always make us feel welcome. We look forward to our next visit!

Our stay was perfect! The property, and carriage house are beautiful. Jim and Geoff were wonderful hosts, and communication with Marla was great! Very, very clean, with lots of special extra touches. We traveled with our dog, and this was the perfect place for him. The owners dogs were very friendly and well behaved. The location was wonderful for walking. Many places we wanted to see were just a short walk away. This was our first visit to Natchez, and booking Terrace Carriage House was definitely the right choice. We will be back, because our visit was short, and we will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful property! Jim is a very gracious host, many extra amenities. Loved the decor and layout. Highlight was a tour of his 1842 home, must see! We hope to stay again. Natchez is one very special place to visit! First time for us.
