Excellent location, easy parking, friendly neighbours, cosy cottage, kitchen well equipped, comfy beds, great shower etc
Could only sit 2 on bar stools to eat breakfast and dinner so we moved garden furniture into lounge for mealtimes. This worked perfectly as there was just 3 of us and we fitted around the table no problem.

Just back from a whirlwind stay at the nook. It was a last minute short stay booking. The property was absolutely perfect. Spotlessly clean, great location (with parking! But reverse in. We have a very large 4 x 4 and made it fine. But park responsibly and think of other residents). Would highly recommend.

Great location. Close to many things. Perfect for us.

The Nook is a charming cottage in a very central position, close to restaurants and shops. Communication with
the owner was clear and simple. The cottage is well-equipped, attractive and comfortable.
Not the fault of the property but I wish I had realised that the shower room is downstairs

We liked that it was a cosy small house, open plan kitchen, bathroom was clean and modern, comfortable beds, enormous modern fridge, modern TV. Plenty of glasses, plates, utensils etc.
On arrival a man started shouted at us as we were parking, later on we realised this was the neighbour. His behaviour was unacceptable and probably he behaves the same way with everyone arriving because he is annoyed by the small/tight parking spaces. The property smelt with damp and there was no toilet paper. The sink area was very dirty, there was a brush with visible dried food bits on, the washing bowl/drainer was also removed as they were so dirty we did not want to use. The faux fur rug makes the room cosy, but again this was dirty and dusty, not very practical in a holiday let. Fire hazard- too many cables/extension lead in straw bag behind TV.

Property was modern and furnished well. Nice location. Clean and tidy.
Quirky and pretty. Good quality goods inside eg fridge/kettle etc.
Modern shower/bathroom.
Parking was a bit of a squeeze.
The bathroom was smelly… couldn’t locate from where from but had an odour of urine.
Stairs were steep - slightly tricky to handle suitcase up and down.
Shower leaked and not enough bath towels for 4 people.
Twin room very small - beds basically pushed together and no room next to them to place a book/drink or have a bedside light that could be turned on/off. Had to climb out of the bed from the end to turn the light on/off as couldn’t get in from the sides.

The table outside the cottage was rusty and the shower accumulated a lot of water in the base as took a long time to empty.

A great location right in the centre of town.
It needs some maintenance: the entrance porch smells really damp; the shower tray doesn’t drain well so there is a risk of it flooding; only one of the spotlights work in the twin bedroom and none of the spotlights work in the main bedroom. Moreover the tv in the main bedroom doesn’t appear to work at all and there are bare aerial wires hanging out of the back of the tv in the living room. Also there is a pub very close to the property which turns into a night club and played VERY loud music late into the night which you can clearly hear from the property. Also the twin beds are so close that they are basically a double bed, which might not suit everyone.

Really well situated in pleasant square.
Bed in second bedroom is too big and fills room. Single bed or 3ft bed would be better. Really need an upstairs toilet for nighttime visits.

Excellent location, with handy parking and very clean.
Very small, OK for two. Would have been nice to have had some games and loo roll!

Problem with the bathroom (but I’m sure once aware they will remedy quickly)

The bathroom being downstairs

Location was excellent and in the town center
The house was very well equipped
The Samsung TV was of good quality but the lack of operating instructions made location of main channels difficult.
6.0
Lovely furnishings and fully equipped in a central location.
Unfortunately we had elderly parents with us so a downstairs bathroom was not suitable for them, and the bedroom with two single beds is only suitable for one else you have to climb in from bottom of bed.

Great location in the centre of Kingsbridge, very comfortable beds, great shower and well equipped kitchen- lovely! Perfect for our weekend with easy access to coast paths, beaches and paddleboarding to Salcombe

We had the most fabulous stay at the Nook! We were blessed with good weather and despite us usually staying in Salcombe, Kingsbridge was delightful and the cottage provided a wonderful base. Communication with the owner was great and the cottage itself has absolutely everything you need, is decorated to an extremely high standard and the bedding and beds were wonderfully comfortable. We’ll definitely be back!

A really cosy cottage, easy to get into, parking space and centrally located in Kingsbridge. Nice communicative host.
Wish there was a bath but only a minor detail!
