Super in every way.

Comfortable bed- large room with garden views-plush shower room/loo-very pleasant and well trained staff, and extremely helpful in guiding us round the town via the tourist maps. All the front of house staff spoke good English. An excellent breakfast was provided, and we had 2 good meals in the restaurant. The location, on the promenade along the bay, was also superb.

There was nothing to dislike.

Amazing place to stay in the amazing Gexto area!!

The view was amazing! The room and bathroom was very large with a keyhole window in the bathroom! The staff was friendly, helpful, and eager to please! We enjoyed the walk-ability of the area, the bike trails, the transportation options; the general area is beautiful!

Very minor: it would have been nice to have an iron or a steamer to press your own clothes. We had an issue with laundry since we were traveling through Spain for a while and would have liked to have an less expensive way to do laundry.

Beautiful hotel in amazing location

The location is great, the building is great, kind personnel

The room (especially the bathroom) will slowly need a renovation. The room remains in good condition, but the cleaning needs to substantially improve.

Exceptional

Well-situated to discover Guexo, Portugalete and the area. The view on the sea is great. Bike renting by the hotel is a very nice option.

The restaurant is a bit expansive for the quality.

I really enjoyed the stay in Embarcadero Hotel.

Very kind and helpful people, very clean and comfortable room, great localization.

There were some noises very early in the morning (from other room or elevator).

Lovely location right on the prom

We had a lovely room at the back of the hotel which had a balcony and overlooked the sea which was lovely and allowed us to watch all the activity with the boats in the bay. The room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was fine but nothing to write home about. We were disappointed with the choices for dinner. Also shocked to see a charge for water in the room after the first night when we got the bill although the person on reception did deduct it when we pointed it out.

Excellent and peaceful!

Charming hotel with straight views onto the port. Perfect location for walks, to discover Getxo and The Bilbao area. Breakfast was really good value for money. I could stay and live here!

Excellent location against the harbour, fantastically helpful staff and I have to say one of the best breakfasts i have had during my last 10 years of travelling abroad for my job

Only a one night stay but the real highlight of our two week holiday in Spain. Really well looked after by the friendly

Beautiful building. Underground parking on site. Friendliness of all the staff is a real bonus. Seaview rooms are a delight.

Exceptional

Our room had a big terrace looking right out to the sea. The room was also a nice size with a well stocked mini bar and large marble tiled bathroom. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee on our terrace in the morning, then had dinner in the hotels lovely restaurant and a night cap in its private lounge. The staff was also very attentive and kind - I really can’t say enough good things about El Embarcadero. We’re already planning another mini vacation to Getxo and Hotel Embarcadero.
