Lovely location in the hills. Great pool and breakfast. Room was very comfortable. Good parking We used it as a base for a cycle ride and hike. We also had a lovely dinner in the cafeteria which is in a garden setting

Very happy to be upgraded to a large studio apartment, Lovely traditional hotel with nice pool and garden.
On a arrival, very disappointed to find the large hotel car park being used by the general public meaning no official guest parking available! We were advised that it was not possible for the hotel to effectively monitor this.
The food was very ordinary both at breakfast and in the evening and the hot items were cold.

The grounds are lovely, whoever is doing their gardening is doing a fantastic job. The spa was great, the outdoor pool was a tad cold, but really nice as well. Plenty of sunbeds and no one reserving them with their towels (a common practice in other resorts in Spain). The room was really nice and smartly designed, great bathroom, nice neutral color pallet The a'la carte restaurant was delicious and the service was great. The parking is easy and secure. The area around the hotel is great as well, right in the village, so you can walk everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay despite a few things we really disliked.
We were not able to use the cave spa, it was booked the first day, and closed the second day and booked again the third day until after checkout, and we were there during the weekdays, so book spa-related activities pre-arrival! The hotel didn't seem especially full, but the spa always was. This was a big disapointment and the main reason we chose the hotel. This is a small detail, but the handles on the wardrobe in the room were super annoying, sharp, and hard to open. The bed is quite firm. The pillows aren't great, but you can switch them for a slightly better one from the warbrobe. The staff was helpful, but if you don't speak Spainish, you might struggle to find information. My husband speaks Spanish, and even he had some trouble understanding the procedures. Things are a bit regimented, for example you have to book a time for the breakfast buffet, and be seated (like a cruise), it seemed totally pointless because it meant everyone came at the same time on the hour, so there were long lines to toast bread and having only 2 espresso machines that take a super long time, and taste no better than drip coffee, was just a bad idea! It meant your meal was cold by the time you waited in line to make a coffee. I don't really have a lot of good things to say about the breakfast- all precedure related, the food was fine, but I didn't bother trying anything warm or toasting bread because it was just too crowded or would be cold by the time I got a coffee. Additionally, due to the long wait, guests were making themselves several coffees at at time, so the problem became even compounded and wait-time longer than usual. Note to management: just have servers brings coffee or tea from carafes to ease the lines. I would have preferred just a filter coffee anyway, as those machines don't make coffee that taste nice anyway. The last thing is a suggestion, no pool bar?

Reception service was fine. Location and exterior setting of the hotel is excellent. Good parking.
Room looked and smelled old. Ordered a 20€ plate of octopus which was overcooked, rubbery and not edible (tried to eat it but gave up half way through) – told the waiter who laughed it off: "yeah, octopus can be chewy sometimes" – no apology and charged us the full amount. Breakfast included mouldy fruit. Didn't live up to the price tag. Disappointing and left feeling ripped off.

It's really nice value for money if you think about the 2hr at the spa
But the spa is really crowded...we payed for the offer including dinner and breakfast, they both were quite nice for a buffet but drinks weren't included and nobody told us that beforehand...so we got to pay a lot more before check out. Also...it kinda smells "old" at least the ground floor where we were.

Very comfortable room with good outlets for charging mobiles etc. Reception staff very friendly and spoke English. In house dining was of the 5 star variety. Expensive but exceptional quality. Very extensive range of good value wines.

Beautiful town and equally lovely hotel. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Safe parking for my motorcycle, well equipped and very comfortable room, fantastic breakfast.
The window in my room did not close properly. I was really tired after riding off-road in the surrounding mountains but was kept awake by the most awful elevator music coming from outside until at least 1.30 am. Every hour I kept expecting it to stop but it went on. And on. And on.....
It started again after breakfast. Like Japanese water torture.....
Breakfast staff could have been more accommodating.

Pretty much what one should expect from a 4 star hotel/spa.
Clean, quiet, comfortable with a fancy old-fashioned bar, adequate restaurant and attentive staff
Didn't have any semblance of local culture--could have been anywhere

Very well presented and kept clean and tidy. Modern features added and hospitality and friendliness of staff made us feel welcome.
