The service from start to finish was great.

The property was really clean and the staff were all super friendly! Will definitely stay here again!
The only thing I wish they had was a grassy area to walk my dog, since it is a dog friendly hotel. They have an area, outside of the bar area with artificial grass, which I didn’t feel comfortable letting my dog on since I wasn’t sure how it would hold up if she pottied on it.

The property was nice, the courtyard was nice too.
Room was too small, not spacious enough for a family. The bathroom was not private and the room was more like a studio with a small sink and counter. The bathroom was not cleaned well. Carpet was dirty as evidenced by my daughter’s black feet after walking on it. Wifi is not free, additional cost. Valet service only for parking, felt more for additional cost rather than an actual luxury service. They actually dont have a parking lot, your car gets parked in a construction area infront of the hotel. They took $100 refundable deposit which no prior hotel ever did with us before. There was no jacuzzi or hot tub on property. Service was slow, staff were not overtly friendly. Meals were overpriced. Overall looked like a nice hotel, claimed to be 4 star luxury hotel but did not give a luxury feel in the room. Stayed at a cheaper 3 star hotel in San Diago prior which had much spacious rooms and excellently cleaned rooms with free breakfast, parking and laundry service.

Fridge didn’t work, bed sheets didn’t even cover bed, filtered water was gross and everything was extra charge… parking, water, internet etc.

The front check-in person (Di was his name) was very accommodating and got me a room on the 2nd floor overlooking Arcadia Park, that was right next to a stairwell, which was great for taking my dogs in and out easily. My room (232) had HUGE windows and very modern and updated features and furniture. Everything was really clean. High-quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. The option to do room service was a life saver on a wet and rainy night with 2 dogs in the hotel room with me, and dinner was delivered very fast.
There is a $29 per night mandatory valet for parking. You are not allowed to self park. This was not clear to me when booking. I had 2 dogs with me and LOTS of stuff, which made loading and unloading in the valet line very stressful and not efficient at all. I ordered tuna tartare for room service dinner. It was ok, but not great as I would have expected for this type of food in California. Room service was very expensive. Dinner for one person came to $73 because there is tax, plus a service charge, plus a delivery charge, and this does not include gratuity!!! Convenient, yes, but yikes! Also, the mini fridge was TINY and barely fit all of the things I needed to keep refrigerated.

Food was excellent. People were very nice and helpful.
It was a high end hotel at an affordable price. Close to USC Keck so it was walkable.
Parking, should have a choice! I get space challenged.

Location, staff, cleanliness, newness.
We were not told about the mandatory parking fee when we checked in. We were given a frustrating surprise upon check out of additional parking fees! And the hotel didn’t give me any choice to park in self-park. Plenty of other hotels in area WITHOUT parking fee surprise.

The room was nice and spacious for a family of four (two young children). The valet crew was polite and friendly.
Even before stepping into our room, we were double-charged for our stay. I booked through a third-party site and paid for our reservation. The front desk asked for a card on record for incidentals and my husband provided his debit card and he was charged $420. I called the front desk and they explained that this was supposed to be a "hold" and the charge shouldn't have gone through. The big problem was that IT DID. The solution we were offered at first was to stalk tot heir accounting department the following day; she believes the department could help us and that the money would be back in our account in a couple of days. This was unacceptable as we drove 6 hours and this was a family vacation. That money wasn't a small amount in terms of something we could use for our vacation. It was eventually returned but that whole ordeal left a bad taste for us.

close to shopping and dining
The little refrigerator wasn’t working properly in the room but maintenance got right on it and brought in another one.

Very clean and quiet and room very comfy. The gym is a plus.
Lack of parking, valet parking $27 a night is excessive.

That it was on a busy street.

It’s new, clean and with good location.
Poor customer service. They didn’t allow you to park the car by yourself even you pay for the parking and didn’t like to provide the “$20 per person per day for breakfast “ which was given through booking.

The staff was super friendly, the hotel was clean overall, good value for the price I paid , I would definitely stay here again.
The room was a-little bit smaller than I thought especially the bathroom area, it would have been nicer if it had a bath tub as well.

new land clean and felt at home; very tidy and scenic ambiance.

We really liked Rene the person who helped us with our bags. He was very nice, sweet and very helpful. He was informative and giving a small tour as we walked up to the room. He showed us how to use the key card for the elevator and room. He seemed very passionate about what he does and he was a pleasure to meet.
Didn’t like the valet parking person when we arrived. He didn’t have good customer service and seemed irritated. He is the older gentleman. He seemed bothered we asked to bring the car up again.
The rest of the valet staff was nice.

This hotel really ruins my stay experience. I went to front desk to book my housekeeping service every night, but no one cleaned my room on the next day. I thought they just forgot about it for the first time, and I went again IN PERSON. But it ended up with no house keeping on my schedule except the first night. Me and my boyfriend had been staying for 5 DAYs, they only cleaned once. I was so angry about it, they waived our parking fee and 1 breakfast fee. I let them to give me a call regarding what’s going on here, either something wrong with the front desk or housekeeping people, I need to know what’s the issue for this. We went back to hotel pretty late every night, so there is no housekeeping lady anymore, and I cleaned up the bad sheet and all the garbage by MYSELF. I don’t know what’s the point of making several housekeeping reservation, cuz no one cares you at all. It’s not about money, it’s more about satisfaction. They promised me to give a call or at least send me an email, but they didn’t! I don’t know what happens with their communication, but this is the worst experience I ever had.
