Not much.
Pretty much everything. Very dated and worn. Used as social housing it would appear that the limited food menu was just pizza….

Didn't like being charged £10 extra an hour for the room as i turned up 2 hours before the check-in time of 2 o'clock even though the room was ready !!

I've stayed at this hotel a fair few times in the past. I find it to be perfect and ideally located. The one thing I've never been able to fault is the staff. And particularly, on this occasion too. Checking in was easy, the reception staff were very helpful as they always are. I explained my intentions for when I checked out as my work meant I was in and out at strange unconventional hours. The receptionist did advise me there was 24 hour porter service if I needed it, which I didn't. I also found the house keeping staff to be both friendly and helpful, particularly on the second morning of my stay, when I was able to get a much needed refill of coffee and milk. A very big thank you to that lady.

Checking in was very quick and efficient, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. No complaints from me there. The location was perfect for my needs.

Exactly, what I was looking for, relaxation. Checking in is quick and easy and the staff I've always found to be very friendly and helpful. I generally choose a particular side of the accommodation area and this has been a request I've made a lot in the past when I've stayed here. And what I've always found a bonus is the hotel will happily accommodate my request if they are able to do so.

I do like to stay here, the staff are always very friendly and helpful and this stay was no exception. I made a request of the hotel, which I did understand was completely their discretion as to whether or not it can be made, to which I was delighted by the fact they were able to accommodate it. The room was clean and tidy, the bed comfortable. Location wise, the hotel is pretty central with easy access to major road networks, transport hubs and shopping facilities. Plenty of food facilities and places to have a drink close by and within easy walking distance.
Not a lot I can say here, my experience was good.

Well located just outside the City Centre, but an easy walk in.
The catering was not in operation, so no option of a breakfast.

Clean, friendly staff, easy to find and amazing price!
What you gain in price you sacrifice in other things. This is a cheap lodge style stay on the edge of town. Partygoers were staying right below me, a large group of them congregated in one lodge which meant that I was awake by 2am and just decided to get up for work after laying there. I didn’t want to tackle them and couldn’t go to reception to report otherwise they would have seen me. Just need to consider this if staying for work. Party time, you’ll be in the right place.

The “chalet style “ front door entrances are essentially motel style entrances
I liked the fact there was cctv everywhere and quick access to the car without walking through a hotel
Bed was comfortable. Bath was great . They have cleaned well
Friday night : Unfortunately I don’t realise downtown Hull was so rough and there was shouting , screaming , running most of the night even out on the balconies . They insisted on photocopying my ID at check in which says it all .
My dogs went mad a couple times at people outside the door/ window - definitely not a place for solo female travellers
They did not have food available this trip which was disappointing at breakfast

Most things apart from discovering, afterbooking, that breakfast wasn't available, that one of the bathroom shaving lights wasn't working, and that the sole chair in the bedroom was on tdhe point of a terminal collapse. The last two points were quick,ly put right but failure to remedy the catering no-go will mean we're unlikely to return.

We asked the locals and found out that it was well known as being used by ladies of the night so decided against staying. It was later confirmed at the hotel we eventually stayed at by staff who had previously worked there

The location is brilliant. Right in the city centre so you can just walk across the road and everything you need is there. There is a free car park although you must remember to log in your registration. You have your own unit without having to go in and out of one building. It is a functional space with a good bathroom, TV and tea making facilities. Staff were super friendly and helpful and offered to move me if needed.
You get the third degree when you go to stay there. You have to provide visual ID checks with a passport or driving license otherwise you are unable to stay there. When asked why there were rigorous checks I was told that the police may have need of them. It does not reassure you that the hotel is safe. It is not reassure you that the rooms are not used for hook ups or deals. In all the hotels I have stayed in, I have never had such an inquisition to stay over one night for work. The management say it has to be done, does it really? The outside and inside is worn and tired. An overhaul would do wonders for the place as the units are practical and suitable. The mattress was well worn, you could feel every single spring in it. The carpet is old and stained and I didn't want to step on it with bare feet. I was in an upstairs room where the trees were overhanging so it was very dark at night to walk on the upper balcony. It was also very noisy with heavy traffic late at night and early in the morning rush hours so you may want to stay on the inside facing the car park instead. There was no restaurant operational so you have to go into town to get food and refreshments but they are all on your doorstep so it is not a big issue.

Room was ok
I didn't like where I grilled when I walked in reception like I've just travelled over 60 miles to get there and there were making excuses as to not let me in I didn't like where they put me as if I'm on a watch like what the hell
