About this house rental

Charlevoix is known as "Charlevoix the Beautiful" for good reason. Your getaway is less than a mile walk to the downtown area with unique shopping and dining, and Lake Michigan public beach with playground, food takeout and picnic area in the shadow of the iconic lighthouse. Bridge Street, at the heart of downtown Charlevoix, is home to many shops and restaurants, from fast food to fine dining.

There is a short walk from the home to Lake Michigan public access to the quieter Northside Lake Michigan beaches, perfect for a swim, sun, or long walk to North Point looking for sea glass and Petoskey stones along the way. North Point Nature Preserve, featuring hiking trails, disk golf, and scenic access to Lake Michigan is a short walk away.

It is also a short walk to Lake Charlevoix public beach by the historic rail Depot. If you visit in the winter, Charlevoix is less than 30 miles to two ski resorts, as well as a local small ski hill. Charlevoix Cottage North is less than 10 minutes to the Castle, a beautiful wedding venue and tour opportunity.

The cozy downstairs of your home away from home features a living room, dining room which can accommodate 8, and a fully equipped kitchen. Attached to the kitchen is a "mudroom" leading to the large, fully fenced backyard including a patio with a table and chairs and a barbeque grill. The first floor features a bedroom (Queen ) and an ensuite full bath. Upstairs features a twin bed room and queen bedroom joined by a full bath. We have tried to include anything you might need to stay and feel at home.

The full basement is where you will find the washer and dryer.

The backyard is fully fenced for your kids and /or pets. The patio has a umbrella table and chairs and a barbeque grill. There is a noise ordinance in Charlevoix after 11pm. The residential neighborhood where the home is located is quiet.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. We prefer the Northside of Charlevoix, and this location allowed easy walking access to downtown and Lake Michigan beaches. The upstairs bedrooms did get a bit hot, but easily solved with a fan. The backyard is lovely. The hosts also had beach chairs and amenities for use if needed. Frank was quick to communicate and overall we had a great stay.

This house was very clean and had lots of household items and beach essentials to make our stay very easy. Large fenced in yard which is great if you bring your dog! Great location…close to downtown and a beach access! The only downside was the 1st floor room and bathroom size but we made it work. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay in Charlevoix. The owners Frank and Sally Campi were super easy to work with. The house is a charming Cape Cod type house a few blocks from the Lake Michigan shore. Nice big fenced backyard which was great for our dog. The layout worked well for a trip with adult children. They could have the upper floor and my husband and I took the bedroom downstairs Only caveat is that the downstairs bedroom is on the small side. The owners are very thoughtful and if you realized you needed it, they had probably thought to provide it. Big help to us were that beach chairs and beach towels were available to use so we didn't have to bring those. We enjoyed playing corn hole in the yard, walking down to the beach. We did walk into town, but if we were planning on doing a lot of walking in town, we would drive and park. All in all a lovely stay!

Stayed at this same house last year with my wife and two teens. Very clean, cozy, with nice amenities, and great location in quiet little neighborhood. Always excellent communication from the property owner. Very pleasant half mile walk to downtown Charlevoix. Five minute walk to public beach access on Lake Michigan. Only 20-25 minute drive to Petosky (or 2.5 hour round trip by bike on paved path). Had a great time, would stay again.

We had a wonderful time! The house was in a great location! It had everything we needed and more! Big yard for Cornhole and other outdoor activities! Excellent communication with the property manager/owner! Lots of fun! ❤️😎☀️🇺🇸

Stayed here for a girls trip and the house is wonderful! Such an easy, beautiful walk downtown and to the beach. You can’t beat the location of this home! And the home is very welcoming, comfortable and has a nice backyard. We will definitely be back!

We booked this for a wedding we were attending. It was centrally located between the church and the reception. We were walking distance from the downtown Apple Festival. The owners had great communication and asked whether we needed anything. We would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic home! Frank stayed in touch and was an amazing host! Short walk to downtown, lighthouse, grocery store, shopping and more. We had everything we needed and more. Bathrooms were stocked. Kitchen had tons of dishes, pans, etc. Loved the coffee and fixins'. Highly recommend this beautiful home for your visit to Charlevoix.

This home is so cozy and inviting. We loved that the kitchen was so well stocked. The location is great because it's an easy walk to all the downtown activity but then it's in a quiet neighborhood to relax . Played a lot of cards around the dining table. The house is located near the access to beach front on Lake Michigan and nice for walking to Mt. McSauba beach area. Nice back yard. Clean house. Walking distance to downtown Charlevoix which is full of nice restaurants such as the Weathervane and several others and along with many shops. The owners were very friendly and responsive. 307 Burns is a very comfortable, warm, inviting house in a beautiful neighborhood. The neighborhood is great for walking. It is within an easy walk of downtown Charlevoix. All of the best Charlevoix restaurants are close by. If you want to hang out at home, there is a great private back yard. We just completed our second visit at this house. We look forward to more.

This was my first experience with VRBO, and this property didn’t disappoint. My husband and I loved it. My family gathered in Charlevoix for my mothers funeral. My 2 adult children came in from out of town and there was even a fenced in back yard for my daughters dog. The house is completely modern with updated bathrooms and wonderful kitchen with plenty of counter space and modern appliances while still keeping the adorable vintage appeal. The location is spot on. I’m a runner and I could be at Olesons (local grocery store) in less than ten minutes while out running. Very walkable to town in less than 5 minutes. Full laundry in very clean basement. Entire house was spotless and welcoming. Abundant towels and every imaginable amenity. Paper towel, toilet tissue, Kleenex all provided. Perfection. I’m very much looking forward to returning! Host was so very willing and eager to be sure the stay was up to expectations. Don’t hesitate to stay at this wonderful property. The hosts make it extra special.

Frank, the property owner, was an excellent communicator and his home was lovely and very clean! I especially loved the bedding. Very soft and high quality sheets and duvets. The space accommodated five adults perfectly and the location was ideal for shopping, restaurants and sightseeing! No complaints!

We had to call the host about a problem at midnight and he came right over and took care of it. Really enjoyed seeing the deer roaming the neighborhood. Never stayed at a rental that furnished so many luxurious towels.

Simple and quiet surroundings but functional house that suited my wife, myself, and another couple. Best for active couples that like to walk and enjoy downtown, the public beach nearby and the nature areas. Thankfully the kitchen had all the right amenities for cooking meals for the nights we did not want to spend downtown

We were so happy with our stay! Communication with the owners was excellent and quick! The house was clean and fully stocked. Very nice neighborhood , within walking distance to downtown Charlevoix and Lake Michigan. Make sure to check out the “ Mushroom Houses” nearby! One very close you can walk to! The house was very clean and just so cozy! The beds are Very Comfortable! We felt very safe and we were able to bring our small dog which was wonderful! Highly recommend!!
