We escaped the Texas heat for August and traveled Alaska, Washington, Idaho, and to this home on the Oregon Coast just to relax. What a perfect place to enjoy the beach, hottub with wine, and just recharge our batteries before heading home

This home is a special gem and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view of the ocean is unbeatable and there is access to the wide, expansive beach. The hot tub was an added bonus and we spent each night watching the sunset. The house is close to many fine restaurants and activities. The house was clean, check-in was easy. I highly recommend this home and we are already planning a return trip.

Everything was clean and the view was beautiful. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The walk down to the beach was short and easy. The beach was beautiful and had very few people on it, due to it being mostly private access paths in that area. One morning we had the whole beach to ourselves for a couple of hours. The hot tub was well maintained and had a great view as well. The deck and the landscaping were all pristine. It's a very short drive to Newport, so we were able to go do some tourist activities on the days we weren't just relaxing at the house and beach. We really had such a nice vacation!

The perfect place to spend a long weekend with friends. The house has spectacular views and feels secluded and private from the surrounding houses. There's a private staircase down to the beach where we spent most our time. Beautiful kitchen and house. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would come back!

The weather was amazing for mid-April and allowed us to take full advantage of the outside areas and the quick access to the beach. The property feels secluded with all the surrounding vegetation giving it a real sense of being away from it all. We were able to take a much needed break and fully relax.
The cell service was terrible and our phones were often in SOS mode which was fine for the peace but not for safety. We had quick response from the local Vacasa staff to fix a few burned out lights. The only downfall is there are a few changes that could happen to make this property perfect. However the view would have us come back!!

This house has amazing views and could be spectacular with some upkeep. The hot tub is in a prime location just wished it would have been cleaner. The sleeping areas are great for multiple people and the beds were comfy…I will definitely be looking to stay here again!

Wow what a stay, could’ve stayed another week. Perfect house with enough room for everyone, and just a quick 5 minute walk to the sand. We had a great time! The town itself is on the other side of the bridge so you do have to drive but that was a small inconvenience. Definitely recommend!!

This home was made for a great stay for our family. The home is set up very well for younger kids who really enjoyed the loft space. There were also plenty of games, puzzles, and even beach toys which the kids loved.

The house and everything was awesome! The experience was frustrating though, since they had a repairman coming to the house during our one full day in the home. We were told it could not be rescheduled, and that there would be a vacasa rep with them; the guy showed up an hour late, while we were cooking dinner and there was no rep with him. We had to interrupt our cooking process so he could fix the oven. Before during and after the stay we got no satisfaction from vacasa. I would say if you want to stay somewhere and trust the property manager is going to have your interests as a priority, I would look elsewhere! If not, it was a nice home and we did have a great time!

Nice home, great view, awesome hot tub, beautiful sunsets. Had the beach practically to ourselves. The only thing wrong was the bad first impressions. The cover on the bbq was a ripped and ratted mess, did not even want to remove it to use the bbq. Come on, spend a couple bucks and get a new cover. The back storm door going out to the bbq was falling off its track, big gaps top and bottom. Fix it or remove it, either one would make a better impression. Last was just out the back door the soffit board was hanging down and looked like it was about to fall all the way off. Other than that just had a few chipped dishes and old flatware but hey I have that at my house. Had a great few days, did wish they would have had a book showing some of the areas local attractions and restaurants. Would recommend the home. Just needs a little love.

We love this house! It’s the second time we have stayed there. The home is cozy, with a fireplace, comfortable sofas, and a great view out over the ocean. We spent lots of time on the deck and in the hot tub. The house is well stocked with lots of games and toys for ocean play. the kitchen is nice with good appliances, but pretty banged up pots and pans. The upstairs spaces are open to the main living area so not ideal for people who want privacy. All in all it’s a wonderful place for a getaway. We will be returning next summer!

Beautiful home and location. Despite being clustered near other houses, it's very secluded and private, including some small walking trails around the house. My partner and I walked down the beach for at least a mile and didn't see another soul. A very short drive to town if you need anything. Everything was very clean and exactly as described.

What a beautiful spot! It was a great location. Not too far from Newport. The bottom of the steps for the beach access was a little tricky to navigate if you have mobility issues. That being said, we almost always had the beach to ourselves! It was a nice weekend away with family. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the house very much. In our opinion, the photos provided an accurate representation of the house and property. We felt that it was in good shape and had a good layout. We particularly enjoyed the view, the hot tub, and the very easy trail access to the beach. Although there are neighboring houses, the house is well situated to provide a feeling of privacy and the area is very quiet and peaceful. If we return to the area, we definitely would stay here again!

This spacious property had everything we needed. The hottub and the beach access was amazing. The only reason it gets a 4 star is because the master bedroom door knob stopped working the first night and we could only access it through the bathroom. We also couldn’t find the keys to the hottub or the laundry before looking through reviews. We contacted the host and never heard back. They are located on little hooks on the trim of the doors.

Overall rating is a 4 due to needs new dresser in master bedroom downstairs, drawers drop down and have musty odor, did not use it. Also hot tub only used once due to strong chemical smell. Screen to back porch needs repair, otherwise all was perfect. Beautiful views, comfortable beds and couches, very cozy, roomy and we would stay here again.

One thing to note is that the driveway is a bit hidden and you have to make a turn off 101 with cars coming at you and cars on your heels. There is a turn lane but if you are unfamiliar with the location having a gps will reduce your stress.

This is a beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the Pacific, beach access, and a great location with access to groceries, restaurants and supplies nearby in Newport. We all slept well in comfortable beds. The kitchen was the center of activity for us, and it was wonderful to view the crashing waves while preparing and enjoying meals together. The beach access requires agility, but it is a unique privilege to have a pathway down to enjoy this wide and pristine beachfront. The hottub and large deck facing the ocean are exceptional. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 4 had a great time at this house. We absolutely loved the stunning views of the ocean and relaxing in the hot tub on the patio every day. Beach was amazing and loved being close to Newport.
A few minor suggestions: the keys to the hot tub and laundry room were very difficult to find and it would be helpful to have them set out on the counter or somewhere easily seen. It would also be nice to have a covered trash can (no garbage disposal). When we arrived the lower door knob was locked by mistake, but I called Vacasa and they were able to help us right away which was appreciated.
Would highly recommend and definitely stay in this house again.

Eight of our extended family members stayed at this house in August. It was so comfortable and clean. The view from the open kitchen/living room and deck is gorgeous. If you want a place away from crowds to enjoy the beauty of the ocean - this is the place! Beautiful landscaping surrounds the house as well. A short private access path leads to a very uncrowded, spectacular beach. Neighborhood is very quiet. The loft area has a nook with a queen bed and a full-sized bed. There is a bathroom between the two nooks, but the loft is fairly open to the living space below. This worked just fine for our particular group.

Excellent place to stay in a perfection location. The deck and hot tub are a wonderful bonus. Beach access is very near the house, though as other reviewers have commented, that last part of the steps is just rocks, some of which are a bit wobbly and somewhat hazardous. We just went slowly and helped each other as needed though, so it wasn't a hassle for us. The biggest issue was there was no welcome note that told us where the keys to the hot tub lock and the laundry room were. Eventually we found them on hooks by the doors (I'm short so I didn't see them until my son spotted them). An updated note with this information would have been helpful. There were plenty of bath towels, and it was great to have access to the laundry room. We ran out of dishwasher soap and had to purchase our own, so more of that would have been nice. The open concept layout is excellent. We had seven adults and a teen and infant, and we could all be together in the living/kitchen area comfortably (though we did rearrange the furniture to capitalize on the view). All four beds were very comfortable, and it was nice having he screen that could be pulled to provide some privacy for one of the upstairs beds (they're in the loft area and separated by the bathroom and closet but don't have walls/doors for full privacy). It would be good if a curtain or screen could be provided for the other bed as it's at the top of the stairs. We thoroughly enjoyed this property and it worked well for our group. Plenty of parking for our three cars (two on one side of the home and one on the other). There were no plastic spatulas, which was tricky considering the non-stick cookware. Also, there were plenty of knives, but they are all VERY dull and we were unable to get them very sharp with the honing tool provided (too little/too late). Overall the kitchen was very well stocked and we certainly didn't struggle much to cook meals for our large group. The home could use a deep clean when the season is over (when we rearranged furniture to accommodate, there was quite a bit of debris discovered), but it was certainly welcoming and the cleanliness was fine when we arrived. Highly recommend this property.

On the plus side there was plenty of space for a family of 4. Kitchen had enough items for fixing basic meals. Amazing view and hours of entertainment on the beach right below the house! There’s even a few sand toys on the property you can use. Inside there’s games and books in the house for littles to adults along with the setup for watching your own Netflix. The hot tub was a huge plus after a long day of exploring. On-site laundry was super helpful! Also it’s only a few minutes away from Newport as well as Seal Rock. On the downside there were ants in the kitchen the first few days, mold around some of the jets in the downstairs bathroom, some deep clean dusting that needs to be tackled on the faux plants and ceiling fan as well as the pans are well used (expect sticking even with spray). The property isn’t perfect but it’s close!

Amazing view
Perfect spot for romantic get away or fun vacation for small family. We've stayed here in the past and noticed its starting to show a little wear and tear, but nothing too bad and if anything it adds to the character of a well loved and enjoyed vacation home. It was incredibly clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beach access could prove difficult for people with mobility issues. Its a bit of a steep incline down and a few stairs are missing at the bottom. Rocks have been placed in lieu of steps but it could be hard for some folks who might not be able to scramble over them. Depending on your comfort level, the room arrangement could be a deal breaker too. The top two bedrooms are in a loft, open and overlooking the kitchen and living room. You also have to go through a bedroom to get either bathroom. No problem for us as a couple, but its worth noting for anyone looking too book as a group. The hot tub has seen better days, but it wasn't offensive or dirty, just warn down with broken knobs and cover mechanism. It was still nice and hot and felt great soaking with that magical view! Thanks for a lovely stay!
