Staff are great, so friendly. Food very good. Location great. Fabulous view from bedroom window.
Didn't need this time but will next - family room. They are "at the back" overlooking car park. Not good. Kids need to see the sea and beach. Need a bit of a move around.

The view of the sea across the road
from our balcony room was wonderful. We would stay again just for that! Included breakfast was very good and plentiful. Nice places to eat and drink nearby. Supermarket and bus stops close by. Good base for exploring the coast and easy to get into Sunderland and Newcastle.
No complaints.

Its location.
It’s stunning view, didn’t realise we booked a room without a balcony and we had a roof instead was a bit disappointing but will know for next time!

Location and bad restaurant
4.0
The location was great for what we needed. There is ample free parking.
For a relatively new hotel, there is no aircon which I understand for the majority of the time here would be ok. However, when we arrived our room was incredibly hot (located on the top floor) and the curtains were wide open with the sun beaming in.
When I asked if there was another room the receptionist wasn’t overly friendly, there was nothing she could do as they were fully booked. A fan is their only solution. When paying nearly $200 AUD per night, there should be aircon not a pedestal fan.
The bathroom was also not clean (mould around the taps, dirty floors/walls etc. When trying to find another plug I also found someone’s fake nail, the hotel room was very unclean.
Lastly, there is no fridge in the room.

The Seaburn inn is a lovely clean , comfortable place to stay , great bar and drinks etc
First night we went for dinner in the Seaburn Inn but was very disappointed with the food quality! I had the Salmon, very greasy salmon was over cooked? And looked more like a starter and for £18.50 was definitely not worth the money, My wife had the Rump steak , and at £20 wasn’t great quality or quantity, asked for a well done steak it was burnt and very hard to get a knife through it , at this level and prices the food needs to be much better! We only had dinner on the first night went out for food the rest of our stay breakfast was disappointing too.

The location on the beach was fantastic and I am very glad to say that the charity event we were attending at the nearby STACK Seaburn is taking place again next year and I look forward to staying here again then!

Breakfast was included in the price. They have two proper expresso machines there. We asked: we'll have cappuccinos, please. 'Yes, but that's extra, pet.' Extra? Yes. How much? £7.90 for the two you want, pet.' 'But that's a London price....! Anyway, I fail to see why it isn't included and dealt with the same as filter coffee and tea?' Then the staff look at you in a manner that says, "Gawd, a couple of awkward characters here...' Good location if you like looking out at a cold, grey North Sea with noting on the horizon (but nice to wake up to on a sunny morning). Anyway, the cappucho was fine, not good, but fine... (with a narrow escape from having obligatory chocolate splashed on top (turning one's coffee into a dessert)).
At least the parking and wi-fi were free, unlike the cappucho. The NE is not exactly a gastronomic delight. You'll meet the pretence, but ....Stick to fish 'n' chips (there are some good places for that up there, but local fish went away some time ago).

Good location. Next to the Stack.
Breakfast extremely slow. Check in relatively cold. Some bits of room in need of refurb/fixing. Pricey for what you get.

lovely clean hotel, very close to an amazing beach front - great for walking - went for a run to Roker lighthouse (it’s 1:5 miles from the Hotel to the lighthouse)
Room 303 - clean, warm, spacious
lovely sea view
unlike my my meal my partner had the beef & said it was delicious (£19)
Breakfast very nice - plenty of choice - must nicer food than the evening menu
The Katzu curry was expensive for a plate of soggy rice, runny sauce and small piece of breaded chicken (£16)
Evening only - tables around us not cleared of dirty plates when restaurant was nearly empty
message to book a table - no response to request & not set up but did manage to take over another reservation in the window

Right on Seaburn's promenade and views over the beach and sea.
Clean rooms and a Seaburn welcome from the staff.

The breakfast was really excellent, amongst the best I've had at any hotel in the UK.
But the situation of the hotel, just across the road from a large and picturesque beach, was exceptional.
All was quite acceptable,
but.....
i)...the large picture window, which we loved, was draghty (but there were very strong winds during our stay).
ii)...Personally, I'd have preferred the TV to have been mounted lower down the wall.
iii)....please...a fridge!

Clean property with beautiful rooms. Breakfast were great. Staff were very friendly and helpful
The bar food was on the more expensive side for what you got but there are plenty of other places to eat within just a minutes from hotel

Location is great and hotel is very modern and clean throughout
room was at the end of the building which was next the Pub’s next door, Room was not soundproof and you can hear everything till early hours, hotel seem to forget to inform you..
As a dog owner I appreciate hotels that allow dogs, but we couldn’t even get a table at breakfast both days due to the sheer volume of people with dogs
breakfast is for a very limited time period and had an over 30min wait for Food, with no priority for guests, more a free for all and in the end unable to get hot food

Bed too soft

Super comfy bed, best sleep ever, sea view what a sight to see to wake up on a morning to, wonderful. Breakfast was lovely, and alot of variety to choose from. Staff were friendly.
It would have been nice to have had a bath, but the shower was adequate. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Breakfast was nice but only getting half a slice of black pudding I though was a joke
The prices of drinks only 300 yards outside was half the price

Lovely location, beautiful inn and the rooms were clean and pleasant. We had a sea view with a balcony and it was stunning. We were right next door to a club so if you’re coming for a quiet break, don’t book the sea view with a balcony. We were in said club until closing so it didn’t affect our break.
The check in was confusing as we couldn’t find the check in desk, also the lady who checked us in wasn’t friendly and came across quite abrupt. We’d still come again.
