About this house rental

Recently renovated throughout including new flooring, bathrooms, laundry and beds, new appliances and open plan kitchen/dining/lounge. Close to town and suitable for leisure or business groups.

Four bedooms available, one with ensuite. Maximum occupancy 8 people. (When booking, please let us know which bedrooms you want). Open plan kitchen-dining-living that opens onto a sheltered deck with BBQ and outdoor seating. TV(55in) with Netflix, Bluetooth stereo, full laundry with washing machine, dryer and clothes line. Kitchen has fridge/freezer, 4 ring stove top, oven and microwave. Two heat pumps for heating or cooling.

Steve was great to deal with. We booked the house for 3 nights. Each of the 5 adults was staying a varying number of nights. Steve added them up a total of 12 nights and suggested we re-book for 4 adults. Much appreciated. Clean, tidy and a great location.

I highly recommend this lovely home. We were impressed to find it's even better than the photos show. Such a warm feeling to the place, everything you could need for a family stay and absolutely spotless. Considerate touches such as the welcome chocolates, coffee pods, tea selection and laundry powder are the icing on the cake. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

I planned this weekend in Palmerston North to bring the women in my NZ family together to celebrate my daughter's coming of age. We talked, enjoyed good food and played games. Linton Cottage was the most awesome setting for our time together. It was cozy and very comfortable. Well equipped too.we definitely wish to return.

This property was perfect for our Palmerston North stay. It had everything a family needs including a washer and dryer and even some lovely unexpected extras like heated towel rails and electric blankets which were amazing for us coming from Tropical North Queensland. Great location close to town, supermarkets and The Esplanade. Thank you for having us, we appreciated it.

We were a group of mature students travelling for a block course. Great place to unwind at the end of a long day. And enough room to have your own space if you wanted some quiet time. Warm house (two heat pumps and heated blankets on the beds). Walking distance to Massey and supermarket… win win!

A fantastic, spacious property in a great location close to the town centre and the Botanic Gardens. The property was immaculately clean and extremely well fitted out. Communication with Steve was great and we didn't experience any issues during our stay. We will be back when next visiting family in Palmerston North.

Very comfortable for a longer stay. Town is very close for essentials items, restaurants and cafes with the Esplanade and river walks perfect for getting out and about. Steve was an awesome host.

We came to Palmerston North for a few days playing golf,at some of Manawatu’s courses. Linton Cottage was a perfect spot for us. It is central being only a few minutes walk away from the city centre while the golf courses are only a short drive away. The cottage was warm, comfortable, very well equipped and extremely clean. A great few days away.

We were traveling for business and this was the perfect home base to visit clients in Palmerston North and Wellington. The house was a good size allowing space for us to have online meetings separately. The kitchen was perfect for us with all the required equipment you could need for a week or longer stay. The property was very clean and appeared to have new carpets, painting and bathrooms. Lots of bedrooms allowing more people to stay with you if needed. We would highly recommend to tourists or business people traveling through to have a home from home for short or longer stays. Communication was also perfect for us with Steve.

This was a lovely home to stay in. Very spacious with everything we needed. Love how there are EcoStore products in the bathrooms and kitchen (environmentally friendly and a NZ business). The street was quiet and the location was near to everywhere we needed to be. Will definately be staying there on our next trip to PN.

Great communication with the host. The property was much bigger than I thought and was perfect for my friends and I. Absolutely loved the dining/kitchen area with the windows that wrap around - looking out to the flowers surrounding the house. Location is very central to shops and esplanade. Would highly recommend the Linton Cottage.
