About this apartment rental
4th Floor 2 Bedroom - 2 Bath Direct Beachfront Condo at the very popular Suntide II. Panoramic views of the Gulf from nearly every room in the condo as well as from a large private deck. Only steps to the beach. Suntide II offers a heated pool, hot tub, tennis court, two elevators and covered parking (one parking spot per guest). Walking distance to restaurants and stores.
Close to the beach (see pictures). Relaxing sounds of the surf from the deck (beware of complexes that are too far away from the beach).
Master bedroom has king bed with amazing views of the Gulf. It has it's own bathroom with NEW double sink with granite top and shower. Mattress is a new (2021) Sealy Posturepedic Firm mattress with individual pocketed coils. New 40" wall hung flat screen TV with Roku stick (not shown in Pictures)
Other bedroom has a queen and twin bed. It has it's own bathroom with NEW sink and granite top, shower and tub. New 32" flat screen SMART TV.
Kitchen area remodeled in 2011 with new cabinets and granite. New dishwasher and New stainless steel refrigerator, stove and microhood above stove. Lots of pots, pans and utensils for dining in.
Large dining area and dining room table.
Desk and chair for you computer work when you have to work away from home.
Large Living Room with Sofa and two love seats (different than what is shown in pictures). Living Room equipped with new 58" wall hung flat screen SMART TV (not shown in pictures).

Unlike other properties that use management companies who overcharge for cleaning, charge damage waivers - money you don't get back (we charge a refundable damage deposit), service fees, access fees and other fees we don't charge. Save on all those hidden fees you don't have booking this condo direct with the owner. You may notice that the nightly price is similar or below the others but the TOTAL price is way less. This is because all of the hidden fees the others charge.
Hurricane policy: We will refund nights caused by mandatory evacuation of the island. We do not refund due to bad weather.
SPRING BREAK ---- PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING ----- Message the owner with number of occupants and ages BEFORE BOOKING CONDO. Your spring break reservation is not guaranteed. References and additional damage deposit will be required. FAMILIES on spring break may receive a discount so please contact owner for special rates if available. Building and condo will be monitored during spring break. If you want to party than this is not the condo for you. During Spring Break, wrist bands for the stay may be required. (Obtained at the office).
Pets are NOT allowed at this facility. Anyone bringing a pet will be required to leave with NO refund (HOA rules).
Just a quick note about linens and supplies. All linens are provided except for beach towels. There is no maid or towel service. For extended stays, you can have the maid "spruce" up the condo during your stay for an additional charge (you can work that out directly with the cleaning service/phone number provided). There are washer and driers across the hall for $2.50/load to clean clothes or clean towels. There will be one roll of paper towel and 3-4 rolls of toilet paper provided for each stay. Additional paper products are the responsibility of the guest.
Parking. There will be one parking pass to park on the Suntide II grounds for each reservation. There are provisions for front to back parking near the street for 2 cars. When we have 2 cars there, we park one on the grounds and one on the street. This is typical of condo rentals on SPI. All 4 condos we have been involved in only provide 1 parking pass per reservation. Land is a premium and only a few have parking for more than one vehicle.

Beautiful home, awesome location and extremely clean

This condo is absolutely perfect. It was very clean. Super nice furniture and the condo is huge. We had 4 adults and were very comfortable. The view from the large balcony was just amazing! Access to the beach is very easy and a short walk. There are 2 different ways to the beach, one with steps, and one without. The pool and hot tub were cleaned daily and very nice. There’s a small grocery store (The Blue Marlin) close by to get your cooking supplies. Overall we are very happy with our stay and will definitely be back!

The beachfront views speak for themselves! Great location and access to the beach. The condo was clean, spacious, as described. As the host clearly states in the property description, you are responsible for extra paper towels and toilet paper. Make sure you bring some extra because you will likely need it. If you plan to cook, bring your own salt and pepper. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, pots, pans, and even a casserole dish that came in handy. Overall, happy with our stay and would return!

We had a fantastic stay at this beachfront condo! The sunrise views from the balcony were breathtaking. The location was perfect, close to everything. The condo was very clean and well-stocked, making our stay hassle-free. The separate laundry location was convenient, and the condo itself was spacious with a great view of the Gulf. We loved it so much that we've already bookmarked it for future stays. Highly recommended!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. The ocean view is fabulous. We enjoyed yhe pool and hot tub. Also used the outdoor grills.
Beach is just steps away.

Condo is as described and pictured. Very relaxing, great balacony for morning coffee, steps from beach and several good restaurants a 1/2 mile walk.

The condo was just perfect for us. We wanted to relax, have coffee on the balcony and watch the waves at sunrise and have cocktails in the evening as the sun set. It was very clean and beautifully furnished. A comfortable vacation home with a wonderful view of the beach!

Great condo, with very nice view of the ocean. Really enjoyed the building’s amenities the pool was a good size and cleaned every day. Also they had a volleyball net and a tennis court. We really enjoyed our stay.

The info on this condo is 100% correct. It has the best balcony to sit, sip your tea/coffee and watch the sunrise. The condo was spotless and while we thought that the mattresses was a touch hard (we are old ladies after all & love soft mattresses) the condo was a great place to stay. Broom & dustpan in closet made it easy for us on sweeping up the sand that we manage to track in. Very close to the beach and we did discover the direct route right next door thru the butterfly garden to the beach. We had a canvas wagon to pull our chairs and other items to the beach so that direct route is much better then going up/down steps with a loaded wagon. (Hope that no one video us the first day) We only had 3 nights to eat out and Blackbeards was the best restaurant out of the three we went to. Coconut Jack's had good food but didn't drink there as their drink prices was out of our budget. Joe's Oyster Bar in Port Isabel was the last place we tried and while it was a little questionable when we first got there and went in, the food was good and drinks were reasonable. Overall, the old ladies trip to South Padre Island was a blast. Highly recommend this condo and host to everyone.

We came in for the 311 show at Clayton's, and wanted a property on the beach with gulf views. This place delivered! Brent answered all of my (many 😂) questions, and check-in was super easy as there really isn't any. The door codes were sent via email as were the parking instructions (which are very important). The condo itself was clean and spacious for our party of 4 adults. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Brent!

The check in and check out process was the easiest of any rental we've used, by far. The unit was in a great location and the views were the best in my opinion. Everything we needed for our stay was provided and that was greatly appreciated. While this does not affect my review, the spare bathroom exhaust fan could be replaced as well as the spare bedroom queen mattress. My husband and I didn't get the best rest, but we made the most of our stay!

Great place, as advertised, open communication, very clean and comfortable. Stunning views of the sunrise from the Ocean side balcony and sunset from main entrance setting area. The place is on the Noreen end of the Island but walking was doable for my group. Our group walked approximately 36 miles in 4 days. At times we took the bus and Lyft was easy to obtain.
Would most definitely stay here again!

We are arrived late Friday through a dense fog and my wife and daughters enjoyed the couple hours of sunshine Saturday, I went in the clean water at the beach for a last day of the year cold plunge . Fog persisted After a rare Texas winter event) and we made the best of it .

I wanted to give cleanliness a lower than 5 but Brad does not want less than 5 stars. We drive from Dallas and we’re tired and wanted to unpack and rest. When we entered the condo it had not been cleaned. We called the number we were given if a problem and Cindy said she would come immediately said she didn’t know it needed to be cleaned. Called the manager Brad and he apologized said he told Cindy it needed ti be clean. He asked us to leave the condo so it could be cleaned. We had to leave the condo from 2.5 hours we did not have access to the condo that we paid for and needed so we could rest from the long drive. I am not convinced that the cleaning lady did her best because when we left 3 of us have Covid-19. They did not offer a partial refund which should have been made for the inconvenience that it cause our family. The beach and pool were great.
