Breakfast is wonderful and the grounds are beautiful. I love the pool and all the green space. The location is just
perfect and it's perfect for families. We were going to take a cruise out of Haifa and the port is so close to the hotel.

It was clean.
I would have stayed at the other Dan hotel in Haifa. Closer to food.

Best location in town....Great stuff

the staff were helpful. the rooms are good size
It’s old, tired and overall unappealing and not up to date with modern competition of hotels. pool opening times are limited as was service in pool area. bathtub in room was rusted around edges. needed to call for enough room towels for our family group & chase up when room was getting serviced. Definitely not value for money given this hotel needs a major facelift

Great breakfast and beautiful grounds.
Nothing everything was great.

The room was a very nice size and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean and we loved the view from our little terrace. We liked getting fresh towels in the evening.
There should be REAL, fresh orange juice at breakfast, rather than that sugary "mitz tapuzim" drink. I would expect real, fresh squeezed juice (which we'd had just the week before, at another five star hotel) for this price! I also wish the pool stayed open later, rather than closing several hours before sunset, especially because there is no sun protection canopy over any part of the pool, and some people prefer to swim when the sun is less strong, later in the afternoon.

The location was "ok" and although the parking cost extra, I guess at least they have parking nearby.
The staff in this hotel were not nice nor helpful. It took almost 1.5 hours to check in and they insisted on charging us VAT on top of what was shown on booking.com even though the guests were not local citizens. The parking cost was an extra 100 NIS per day!

The staff were polite and helpful; the majority additionally speak Russian. There was (paid) covered parking available at the hotel, which is very convenient and safe if you have a rental car. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were nice, and the beds were comfortable. They provided fresh towels not only with room cleaning but in the afternoon as well. The breakfast had many options and a lot of good desserts. The location is good on Mount Carmel and provides lots of food venues, bars and shopping places to pick from on the main street; it is easy to go downtown using the subway, which isn't far from the hotel.

Clean hotel efficient check in
Wanted to get room service- no menu in the room - called room service 3 times no answer - called a service line they are located in Tel Aviv and they try to call the hotel apparently didn’t work - called them twice no effect - finally went downstairs and the managers are eating dinner at the buffet!!! They say they had no idea that anybody called for room service! It was a total of an hour when finally I managed to contact someone by personally going to the restaurant downstairs

We had a wonderful stay, the desk staff was very helpful

My room was comfortable and clean, the view was lovely and it was nice to have the balcony. The bathtub and shower were good, with great water pressure. The location isn't the most convenient, but it's easy to get to with public transportation. The staff was mostly friendly and professional and check-in and check-out went smoothly.
The decor is outdated, I didn't love that everything in the room is brown. All the light switches get a bit confusing (had to unplug some of the lights because I couldn't figure out how to turn them off) and I couldn't find a room service menu anywhere even though room service was mentioned in the welcome brochure.
I appreciated having some vegan options for breakfast like yogurt and cheese, but when I tried to find out if any of the hot dishes or pastries were vegan, the chef refused to answer any questions and responded only with "I don't know." This felt really rude, and I'd also imagine it could be problematic for people with allergies when the staff doesn't know the ingredients of the food they're serving. I was left with a breakfast that was disappointing, especially when other hotels in Israel make much more of an effort to cater to vegans. (When I mentioned this at the reception desk, I was sent a link to a form to fill out, but nobody ever got back to me.)

The view from the balcony overlooks the Haifa port and beaches. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Very nice experience.
Everything was good. No complaints. The main city is far below the hotel, but there is an easy, inexpensive train that stops near the hotel and takes you down to various parts of the city.

The view to the north, which the hotel calls "Bayview", is spectacular (as opposed to "Seaview and Carmel" which is more mundane). We had a medical emergency which was well handled by the staff, both at the time of the emergency and afterwards. Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.
