Clontarf Castle is located in a beautiful neighborhood within a few minute walking distance to bus stops , 15 min to Dublin center. Hard to imagine there is a more scenic and comfortable location to stay in Dublin .

There was nothing I didn’t like about the Clontarf Castle Hotel. You are completely enamoured with the hotel as you drive up the sweeping drive. The added bonus was that the castle was decorated for Christmas. The front desk staff were attentive, the rooms were comfortable as was the four poster bed. The food served in the Knights Bar was lovely as was the breakfast in the Fahrenheit Grill. I speak more highly of the hotel m, we would come back in a heartbeat.
Nothing at all.

Ein sehr imposantes Gebäude, das sehr schön renoviert wurde. Architektonisch alles stimmig.
Sehr nettes Personal vom Empfang bis Service. Zimmer sehr sauber und bequem.

Decorated outside and in, it was like a fairytale Christmas castle. Absolutely stunning. Service and staff great. Room decor outstanding and room very comfortable.
We didn’t dislike anything about this hotel.

Everything is top notch. Phenomenal hotel.
The location is away from from a lot if you're looking to get out and about. But that could be a plus to some.

Breakfast was very good and included a wide range of items including food for an Irish breakfasr and a continental breakfast. The contental breakfast included a range of smoothies, yoghurts, fresh fruit and paties. There were many more different foods available, the difficult was how to decide what to eat without having so much that I would have felt uncomfortable!
The hotel was very impressive and the staff I spoke to were all keen to share their knowledge and pride in the hotel.
Everything was good.

Very good and enjoyable
Not a lot everything was fantastic

A lot of the dishes were near empty most of the time, especially the fruit bowl. No baked beans to have with bacon & eggs.
4.5 / 5.0
I could have used a softer bed pillow. The ones on the bed were super hard. I didn't realize it until late in the night and didn't want to bother the staff. Everything else was wonderful.

Very pleasant hotel. Comfy beds and friendly helpful staff.
Remote location. No dining nearby and the hotel food is not thatt special.

Location excellent - reception most professional in particular Arthur
Single beds were very narrow - food was expensive and a bit pretentious even in the bar

Location
Worst breakfast I’ve ever had completely run out of nearly all the cooked food and took ages to bring out fresh food

beautiful property. The staff was amazing.
We arrived after being awake for 24 hours and the desk staff told us our room was ready a bit early. He was so thoughtful. Bed comfortable.
wish we had longer to spend there I would have liked to explore the cemetery.

very well kept castle blending new with old

The building is gorgeous throughout. The beds are very comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly, kind and helpful.
The Knights Bar was under-staffed around 9:00 pm. It took almost half an hour to get a drink and almost half an hour more to get the bill. I’d have had two or three drinks if they’d had the manpower to make them.
