Very spacious and open-plan living area. Lots of space for cars, boats and all your gear. A great place to act as a home base to explore the surrounding region.
Dated furniture. Parts of the property still under construction. Little impact on stay experience however.

It was excellent. Great spot. Ian is such a lovely man and he was so accommodating to our needs. We really appreciated his help! Highly recommend.
The only thing that we didn't like was that we had to leave ..

Massive property & house. I loved that it had a lift as I’ve got a foot injury and struggle to walk up and down stairs. We loved the kitchen and how spacious it is and loved coming back to Ian’s dog always greeting us 😀

The house was spacious, private and a perfect home away from home. We could even take our dog along with us!! Ian was a lovely host, friendly, kind and so accommodating. Ian’s dog Buddy is also amazing, he is the welcoming committee for all the guests, just a big friendly giant full of energy, Buddy definitely adds value to your stay, haha
It was all great

Great views, aircon rooms lodge was really big, great for a group of families.
Ian was very helpful and great host.
Maybe the grassed/gardens area could use a bit of care. The kids would have enjoyed a bit more

-We liked the fact that the Owner Ian came to greet us- Even though it was Christmas Day! He came to ensure we were happy and had no issues.
- HUGE spacious house! Was perfect with having a family with young children. It was more than big enough for the 4 of us only using 2 out of the 4/5 bedrooms. With both of the rooms used having bathrooms!
- Free WI-FI and access to Netflix which gave us the option to watch Christmas movies as a family!
- spacious kitchen with every utensils, cutlery, plates, bowls, containers, pots and pans you need!
- The property being not central to the town centre but only a few short minutes from town. Was close by a look out and having the peace and quiet of being out a little was amazing.
- lovely renovated bathrooms, kitchen and laundry!
- The beds were surprisingly comfy!!!!!!!!
Will 100% recommend to anyone that is looking for a place to stay whilst in Jurien bay or needing accommodation close by!
Yes it's undergoing renovations (they're looking great by the way) but it's the perfect no fuss place to stay. With great views where you can feel at home.
We'll be back- hopefully sooner rather then later.
- a new kettle is needed (didn't turn on at all) but we just boiled a pot of water on the stove for our coffees, so no biggie at all 😉

Our large family had a fabulous week at this deluxe, spacious, two-story home. The standard of cleanliness was impeccable and there were ample spare towels, bedding and blankets. It was easy to keep the place warm (as we visited in winter) and, with reverse cycle systems, the home would be easy to cool in warmer weather too.
The owner, Ian, is the most kind, genuine and thoughtful man who helped and addressed any questions or issues we had immediately. He bonded beautifully with every member of our family, particularly our daughter with multiple, severe disabilities. Ian even offered to pay the deposit for a beach wheelchair which is available locally for hire and always went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we wanted or needed, including toiletries, tissues, paper towel and as much fruit from his fruit trees as we wanted!
The kitchen had ample bench and cupboard space as well as an extensive range of kitchen utensils and cookware. The stovetop, oven and microwave were all immaculate and ultra-modern.
The master bedroom was enormous. The ensuite contained a full-sized, modern bathroom with a fabulous, deep bath and double shower and there were also huge 'his and hers' walk-in wardrobes. The bush and ocean view from the bedroom and balcony was absolutely breathtaking! Another bedroom downstairs also had a smaller ensuite and there was also a third bathroom as well as an additional toilet and two extra bedrooms....SO much space!
The laundry had a great, little washing machine and sink, which meant we only needed to pack a couple of sets of clothes each and were able to keep on top of our washing. A vacuum cleaner and broom etc., which we could use at will, meant that we were able to easily clean up any sand or dirt we trapsed in.
We loved everything!!!!

Ian is a top tier legend and goes above and beyond he takes you in as if the visitors are one of his own. He lives in a separate dwelling from the house on his land there is plenty of privacy. You have to go stay there if your heading to Jurien bay. You'll miss out otherwise. From arrival through to departure Ian is a true gift from the heavens. Prompt communication right down to any help or enquires you may need during your stay. Which makes staying there so enjoyable. We had 3 dogs and finding accommodation turned out to be boggling the only places I could find were caravan parks. The house exceeded our expectations it's class meeting comfort without having to tread on egg shells with the dogs. This home away from home sprawling across hectares of land with the top balcony connected to the main ensuite also linked to the main hallway for other access has a gorgeous view of the ocean. Ian has made sure his family home is well equipped with all the necessities and more. Kitchen is stocked with many options for kitchen ware to enjoy using whilst you rustle up some freshly caught fish. Bathrooms and whole house was sparkling clean upon arrival. The lift is a lavish touch for people that need it. If it rains no problem the shed features a bbq so you can entertain the family or friends over an Aussie classic past time even when it isn't summer. Water pressure will not miss a spot whether your cleaning dishes or bathing after a day out fishing or exploring. Main ensuite has a massive bath to relax in! Laundry has a washer and dryer connected to a laundry shoot from upstairs, another fridge just incase you need more room to keep your food fresh. Waking up with nature glistening and humming too good! Gorgeous place we all cannot thank you enough. I could go on forever but I'd just be spoiling all the great surprises. All our love Ian! Isla, Indy, Rosie, James,Geneva and Celestrial. We'll see you next time.
No faults even if you tried.
