An oasis of peace surrounded by nature.

go there and you won't regret it! the place is heavenly, surrounded by greenery, with a well-kept swimming pool, as well as all the outdoor spaces. in the morning birds and bunnies stroll in the garden, they are wonderful. the room, equipped with a kitchenette, is beautiful and functional, very clean. The breakfast was delicious and rich, with hand made products. but best thing are Anne-Lise and Jeremy: two people of rare kindness. we also had dinner there one evening and it was clearly the best dinner of the whole holiday, superior to any restaurant tried, a starred restaurant dinner! Thank you so much Anne-Lise and Jeremy for the great experience

We have just exceptional words for this property, the one in a million hostess, the best meal we ate in all the Azores, cooked by Jeremy and Ana Lise, the cute private room, the Eden of garden they developed… wish we could be there as soon as possible. Thanks

Exceptional

It is just an amazing place! Located in a very nice place at Pico island. You will be surprised that it looks even better than on pictures. Appartments are super clean, equipped with all you need and have huge beds where you sleep like a baby. You will for sure like homemade breakfasts on the terrase with a view. We recommend to try dinner prepared by the host! It's really worth it. If we are back to Pico, we will definitely stay at this place again!

We liked everything at this property. Hosts are amazing. Garden with pool is full of birds and a true oasis of peace and calm. If you're looking for a special stay op Pico don't miss out on this. Every second day the owners prepare a dinner, join in, you won't be disappointed. Best food we had on the island.

It is really quiet there so great to relax, definitely recommend!

We liked the idea of a customised breakfast instead of buffet so there is less waste.

The apartment had no view. More hooks to dry (towels for the pool) would be great!

perfection!

this place is amazing; a must stay if you are on the island of Pico. The hosts are two of the most lovely people and so helpful in all things related to our time on Pico. The property is beautiful. The dinner they host is basically Michelin star worthy. I really can’t recommend O Zimbreiro more highly. Unique and beautiful.

We'll check we can stay here even before booking return flights to the Azores...

Just a perfect destination in every way. The gardens are lush, the rooms were full of lovely touches and our daughter really enjoyed her time in the pool. The owners are so friendly and have thought of everything they can to make your holiday go well. We had fabulous food at their communal dinners, with the bonus of interesting company.

Little paradise

The whole place is a beautiful little paradise, with lots of flowers! The buildings are very nicely renovated and the staff if super sweet.

Nothing to do with the accommodation, but I recommend other to plan transportation in the area well beforehand, like renting a motorbike or car. We were too late for that.

The hosts are just super friendly and really caring. We also had a great breakfast as well as dinner. I can only recommend to come here for your stay on pico island.

We had a standard room, I think for the next time I would take one of the rooms with sea view as it is worth to invest :).

Relaxhub with fantastic hosts

Amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful, wonderful evening meal (best meal we've had all holiday! - and we've eaten a lot) and breakfast, super chilled vibe with outside verandah with view and pool, really managed to relax here! Local restaurant also great. Breakfast basket the morning we left early. No complaints at all.

Quiet and romantic place where you want to come back

We were lucky to find this quiet and romantic place. Beatiful garden with a pool, lots of flowers and greenery. Spacious and well-decorated room with a Sea and Sao Jorge island view. Anne-Lise and Jeremy are super welcoming hosts; they do everything to create a unique home feeling for guests. Amazing homemade breakfast. Pity we couldn't stay for dinner. Our favorite place during the trip in the Azores. Hope to come back one day!

Hidden gem with incredible hospitable hosts

Whilst we are experienced travelers, this is probably one of the best places we've ever stayed. Jeremy and Anne-Lise are amazing hosts, who go above and beyond to take care of their guests. The breakfast is great and the dinner that they prepare every other day is just amazing. The rooms are very nicely decorated and we loved their eye for detail. We are planning to come back.

Small paradise on the island of Pico

We really enjoyed staying here! The accommodation itself is a bit distant from bigger cities, but so worth it. You get a very private feeling (almost paradise like) with all the plants and vegetation. The clean pool is also a plus. The rooms itself were big, very clean and had everything you need. Every other evening the hosts make a splendid meal. It was the best meal we had at this island. We never had friendlier hosts then here. Really recommend and we definitely go back!

Just perfect

Jeremy and Anne-Lise do their work with a lot of passion and there was no other place where we felt so welcome. It is a quiet but really nice location. The diner jeremy prepared was absolutely great, People staying at o zimbreiro should not skip this! Thanks Jeremy and Anne-Lise! We will be back :) Jasper & Tiffany
