We (The owners) oversee every detail and stay at the cabin ourselves consistently to ensure that real life is better than the pictures we have posted on VRBO. We stay lock-step with our renters and staff at all times to ensure our guests expectations are met. We have been told from seasoned Pigeon Forge travelers over and over that the cabin has exceeded their expectations in every way and is hands down the best they've experienced. **
Monte Vista is a Luxury Log Cabin with 5 beautifully appointed King-Bed Bedrooms and 5 1/2 spacious Baths. This cabin sleep 15 people in beds (assuming 2 per bedroom plus 3 additional sleeper sofa's) and features walls of panoramic windows, soaring ceilings and expansive wrap around decks that offer spectacular views of Mount LeConte and the Great Smoky Mountain National Forest from all areas of the home. The cabin offers free WiFi, Netflix and Hulu. There are Large HD Flat Screens in every living area and bedroom! The private, comfy and secluded fire pit, down a lighted pathway also boasts a great view of Mount Leconte and is a perfect place to commune up close with nature on a starry night.
There is a fully equipped Kitchen and service for 15, a charming table for 8, an island bar with 4 stools and plenty of additional seating within full view right outside at the picnic table or in the living room.
The Main Living Area is an open living space that encompasses kitchen, dining room and living room, offering a seamless blend of rustic luxury, homey comfort and style. It has soaring A Frame 2 story floor to ceiling glass windows, allowing guests to take in the magnificent view while relaxing together on the Leather Sofas around the fire, watching the 55” LCD HD TV, eating dinner, cooking together or just hanging out. The main living area leads to a wrap around deck lined with 7 rocking chairs, a 3 person swing, picnic table and outdoor gas grill that provides a spectacular view for all. Off the main living area is the Master Bedroom Suite with a King Bed, 43” LCD TV and a spacious Master Bathroom with a separate shower and Whirlpool/Jacuzzi Tub. There is also a well appointed half bath on the main floor and fully equipped laundry room with washer/dryer, ironing board/iron, vacuum and all the cleaning products you might require during your stay.
On the uppermost level is an open loft with a more private sitting (reading) area. The loft offers a comfortable single sleeper sofa and the most spectacular views. Here you'll find a small library where you're welcome to relax and read while feeling 'in awe' of the beautiful vista of Mt. Leconte. Also upstairs, The second and third Bedroom Suites. Both offer King Beds, 32” LED TV's and both have full private bath's.
On the terrace level you will find another ceiling to floor wall of windows, showcasing the magnificence of Mount LeConte and a premier game room. The game room includes a Wedgewood Poker/Game Table and Chairs, Foosball Table and Pool Table, 60 Game Arcade Table, Wet Bar with bar stools, mini fridge, a Popcorn Maker, a second super cozy living room (Movie Room) with a stacked stone gas fireplace, Sleeper Sofa and Loveseat, 60 inch HD TV, Surround Sound System, Netflix, Internet access, tons of card and board games in the gaming closet and more! The entire terrace level common area is a perfect 'movie and play zone' for you, your family and friends!
The terrace level has yet another wrap around porch where you will find 5 rocking chairs and a large hot tub overlooking the mountain!
Bedroom Suites 4 and 5 are located on the terrace level. Bedroom 4 has an on-suite bathroom and bedroom 5 shares a full bathroom with the common area (with a private entrance). Both bedrooms have 32' HD LED TV's.
There is also a lighted path down the side of the hill that leads to the cabin's very own fire pit. There is also a charcoal grill, picnic table in the clearing and plenty of hewn logs to sit on. The firepit ALSO overlooks Mount LeConte!

This property was super clean and offered an abundance of space with its 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, making it perfect for a large group or family gathering. We had grandma and granddad, aunt Deb, cousin Jim and his wife and 6 yr old, our two teenagers, my brother-in-law and his wife and two kids 8 and 10. Count it up that is 14 with an incredibly wide age range.
The amenities were outstanding. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, foosball table, and arcade games that provided endless entertainment. The two dens, each equipped with smart televisions, allowed for comfortable lounging and movie nights. The large kitchen was fully equipped, making meal preparation a breeze.
One of the highlights was the two levels of wrap-around rocking chair patios. We spent countless hours relaxing in the rocking chairs, taking in the breathtaking scenic mountain views. The private wooded area around the property was a delightful bonus, offering plenty of space to explore and connect with nature. The fire pit was perfect for evening gatherings, roasting marshmallows, and enjoying the serene surroundings.
Overall, this VRBO exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty made for an unforgettable stay.
Even more the Monte Vista hosted by Julie who was super responsive with quick questions and her desire to make sure we were comfortable. She was super detailed but wanted you be at home as well. It was the perfect place for our multi-family trip!

Everything was spot on, location, cleanliness, layout- you name it! We had the best house out of everyone on our team! We searched and searched before booking- we made the right decision 100%! Not far from The Entrance to the National Forest, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We could hit all the best vacation spots. We were a family of 3 generations ages 3 to 71. It was great to have 3 levels. The family's with the youngest were separate from the elder members. The game room kept them occupied.

We all had a wonderful time. The cabin is amazing! The view was beautiful and the cabin was so clean and had everything that you need. It was just perfect with how the bedrooms were set up and each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Julie and Terry were so helpful and responded right away if I had a question. We will have so many beautiful memories there. Also, we weren't that far from everything but once in the cabin it felt so peaceful. The decks were my favorite, we would sit out on the swing and in the rocking chairs every morning and every evening! I recommend this cabin for any family or friends vacation...you will not be disappointed. :) Thank you Julie and Terry!

Everything about this cabin from reserving to checkout was 5 plus.! Extremely clean and responsive owners. Addressed any questions I had very quickly! The cabin was beautiful itself with beautiful views! Everything we needed was there from cooking in the kitchen to sleeping at night! We had 8 adults and 3 small children….ages 8, 4, and 5 months. We have stayed in many cabins over the last 8 years and this cabin was like…”hitting it out of the ballpark”! It was superb!

Monte Vista is a fantastic, clean, well-maintained, well-stocked, cabin. It is beautiful with amazing views. The only problem we had was there is only 3 parking spaces for a cabin with 5 master suites. I would think a common scenario would include five couples, which was our case, with five vehicles. Also, the check-out list is extensive, including emptying dishwasher and laundering towels, including wash, dry, and fold. Our group was not completely comfortable knowing the previous tenants had laundered our towels. Also, we didn't have time to hang around and wash, dry, and fold towels on the day of checkout. I will say the owner did not seem upset that the towels were left washing in the machine, and not dried and folded. We would not rent again due to the parking situation. However, if you only have three cars then absolutely recommend!

We were here for 5 days / 4 nights. The property was wonderful, and the owners were even better. The property came stocked with all the things we would expect, and they even had instructions on local activities as well as things to do. The rooms are very spread out, and we LOVED all the smart TVs also. Just a wonderful trip!

We absolutely loved the house. It was beautiful. The views from the deck was stunning. It was a joy to sit on the porch swing in the morning and look at the mountains. We have stayed in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area many times and this is my favorite house yet. The owners were very informative and ready to help us, if needed. Great cabin! Very clean and matched it's description. Only issue was upon our first 1/4 load of laundry, the washer was broke and we could not clean any clothes for our entire stay. Owner offered to pay for any laundry fees, but then would have to spend time running around a very busy area to clean our clothes. We declined, because we had enough clothing. Maybe a cleaning fee should have been returned instead.

Monte Vista Cabin is exactly as you see pictured in the listing. It is clean and beautiful. We are a family of 10 (9 adults and a toddler). The cabin was the perfect size for us. Every couple had their own room and the room with toddler had enough room for her pack n play. Every room having its own bathroom is magnificent (no sharing or waiting for a bathroom). The living space on the mail level was roomy enough for all of us to spend evenings to together. The basement with the game room and TV was perfect for the 20 something’s in our group to hang out and enjoy being together. Both outside decks were utilized at all hours of the day and night. The homeowner was very quick to respond when I texted her with questions. There is a fire pit area, but we did not use it, the older generation of our family would not have been able to get down the stairs/hill to it. The kitchen is well stocked with just about anything you could want to make meals and the refrigerator is very roomy. Plenty of empty cupboard space to store your food. The upstairs loft/sitting area, was a great place to get away to read but still be able to hear what is going on in the main living room. Ample parking for 4 SUV/Trucks, 5 or 6 smaller vehicles could park there. Good proximity to the national park, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I would highly recommend this cabin for a family vacation.

The house was absolutely gorgeous. It fit the description to a T. The adults enjoyed sitting on the porch at night while the teens enjoyed the pool table, arcade game and of course the hot tub. The location was perfect. We were out in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle where we could enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to hope in the trucks to enjoy Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smokey's. The cabin was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN, and EVERYTHING we expected and more.
The views were INCREDIBLE as we lounged inside or on the decks. We were all excited to have our own King sized bedrooms and private bathrooms...a major plus in our selecting Monte Vista for our stay.
The men really enjoyed the pool table and staying connected with NBA playoffs and WNBA games with TVs being plentiful throughout the cabin. One of the ladies loved the arcade games. 😁 The drive to and from the cabin was an easy drive day or night.
OMG our hostess, Julie was AWESOME before, during and after our booking. We had questions (lots of questions...lol) and Julie had all the answers immediately. We loved having all of the notes that were throughout the cabin (attention to details) to ensure we left the cabin as nice as we found it..very much appreciated.

Overall, the property was wonderful and fit the description perfectly. The check-in process was good and the check-out instructions were clear. This was a spring break trip for high schoolers with some parents going along. The downstairs area served the teenagers well with the hot tub, pool table, tv area, gaming table and poker table. The view from the cabin was amazing and we enjoyed that every day. There were a couple of minor issues with the outsides lights which were taken care of immediately once I notified the owner. Overall, everything was great and I would certainly stay here again.

The cabin was spacious and very clean. it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the firepit and the beautiful outside surrounding land. Our group ranged from-1 to 89 and everyone had a fantastic time. Relaxing in the rockers on the deck to gaming in the game area everyone was occupied. Lots of games were available, the kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were spacious. We hope to return. I would recommend it to anyone. It's very close to Pigeon Forge but very secluded with beautiful views of Mt. LeConte!

Communication great with owner, everything was super easy. They laid out a detailed email and have notes everywhere, which is why they have such a clean, well kept, beautiful cabin. Never expected it to be so clean that I could walk into the deck in my socks (sounds silly, but true!). I was a little anxious to see how far uphill we’d have to drive but was not far uphill at all! Views were beautiful everyday, right from the porch. Our family of 12 created so many amazing memories we will cherish for years to come. Hopefully we will get to go again soon!
