The massive, custom-designed dining room table accommodates up to 14 people. You get it all, but you never get enough!

Relax in the cozy living room, featuring a stone, electric fireplace, a couch, a loveseat, a comfy armchair, and a big-screen TV! Catch up with one another or make plans for the day. In the evenings, flip on the TV for a bit of entertainment or gather around the fireplace for bedtime stories.
Kitchen
Step into the fully equipped kitchen for meal prep, coffee refills, snack attacks, and cookie time. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stainless-steel refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, cutlery, cookware, mugs, dinnerware, and more. There’s even a bonus island with loads of extra counter space and bar seating for 4 to simplify fixing and serving meals. We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house. We had plenty of room and loved that every bedroom had a king bed with a private bathroom. It was in a great location and made going to everything a breeze. The game room and hot tub was a big bonus for us to enjoy in the evenings. I would definitely recommend this rental. We even saw a bear when we were leaving one day. Thanks again for everything! We really enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge ❤️

My family of 14 had an outstanding time at The Spark of Life Cabin in Gatlinburg. It is within a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, grocery store and Pigeon Forge is only a few miles away! We had 8 adults a 9, 11, 3, 2 year olds and 2 infants 7 and 10 months! There was so much to do during the day with all ages and at night we played in the game room! This was a perfect house for our family!

I’ll start by saying the cabin is nice. Spending over $9,000 for a week rental. On Monday pm we noticed the dryer didn’t dry our towels and suits from the pool day we had. We called Monday pm to report it. Tuesday pm a man comes out and cleans lent out of the vent on the outside of the cabin and says it’s good without trying to run the dryer to test it. It didn’t work. We called Tuesday to report it. Wednesday am they said an appliance man would be out, at 530 Wednesday afternoon he shows up. Says he has been here before for similar issues. He stated the owner is too cheap to pay him to fix it properly so his fix was to unhook the dryer vent pipe and leave it unattached until the cabin maintenance can come fix it. The dryer was working after he left, except when you ran it, all of the steam from the dryer filled the basement and sent the house’s smoke alarms off. We have videos. So we call Wednesday pm to report it and Thursday am. Thursday around 2pm the maintenance team comes out to replace vent pipe, making the dryer usable. I know it’s a dryer, but we packed knowing we could do laundry. The owner called to speak with my father Thursday, simply stating things happen and he’s sorry. After we spent $9,000 for the week we get an I’m sorry. It took 3 days for the easy fix. 14 of us stayed in the cabin, forced to wear dirty clothes and use dirty towels, had to go to the store to buy towels, spent an abundant amount of time on the phone dealing with this issue. After reading 2 other reviews, the owner has know about this dryer issue since January and failed to fix it, causing our family a magnitude of stress on vacation. I’ve called twice asking for Matt, the owner, to call me so we could discuss this and what he can do to justify his lack of ownership and accountability. He refuses to call me back. They say there are two sides to every story, I assure you this $9,000 story does not have another side. N

We loved the cabin. The arcade and movie theatre were a great space for the kids. Communication with the management team about a dryer malfunction was very quick and efficient. I only gave it 4 stars because of a few minor issues that added up… lots of different methods of receiving information made it somewhat confusing—text email VRBO and an app. The dryer was glitchy and didn’t really work. The cabin itself was great but the floors were noisy between stories and the basement was hard to sleep in because of this. The kitchen was a bit small but appliances and dishes were nice. The tv downstairs was non functional and the theatre wasn’t user friendly. Overall very happy and glad we stayed there!

Twenty years after seeing everyone, our group decided to reunite in Gatlinburg. We had a great time and Spark of Life was the perfect lodging for the five couples. Some of us own vacation homes and we all commented on how well appointed the property is. The layout was great and there was plenty of public space for us to all be together. The location is really nice, as it's just on the Pigeon Forge edge of Gatlinburg. It made it easy to get to both towns. With a grocery store at the bottom of the hill, getting provisions was easy and our pizza order made it to us in less than 20 minutes. We all agree we would stay here again!

Everything was wonderful. The Rooms were large and comfortable for everyone. Kitchen was roomy for me to cook breakfast. Had all you needed but food. Christmas Tree was still up and made it amazing to look at. The Table of my dreams. Would love to have one just like it. Plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortable. They had a highchair already there as well.
The only complant I even heard was the Dryer wouldn't dry. I'm not sure if they even knew how to run it because I alway wash before I go and when I get home. Really wasn't a big deal for the rest of us. I would have given a five star all the way through but that one thing. I look forward to maybe renting again in the summer.

The cabin was perfect for families with kids. They got to play all day in the arcade and movie theater. The cabin itself was dated and there are no views and is surrounded by other cabins, so we probably wouldn’t go back, but the kids really enjoyed it. There were a couple of issues with the toilet and bathroom, but management was very responsive and they took care of it right away. Overall the cabin was fine and served its purpose but we likely would want to stay in one that is newer, a little more privacy and something with a view of the mountains.

The location was terrific. Our kids loved the game room. The movie room was nice. It was very nice having so many bathrooms for 9 of us. The bedding and pillows were lacking and in need of refreshing. The Wi-Fi was not very strong. Most of us were not able to use it. We also were unable to stream or mirror our Netflix/YouTube TV because the Wi-Fi was so poor.

We were 11 people. We had plenty of space for all. The kids were going to use the bunk beds, but the upper bunk does not have a guard rail, so I would not advise using it.
All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.
The kids loved the downstairs movie and game room. This house does not have any outdoor space for kids except to walk up to the pool area. It is really close to town and the local supermarket.

The cabin was awesome and so much to do for everyone and all ages with the game room and movies , hot tub etc. the emails and notices about details was best by far and the chairs on porch and beds are all comfortable . 2. The house has an arcade in the basement. It appears that other houses elect to go with small pools. The arcade is the correct choice. Our entire family enjoyed the games. Ages 9-75.
3. The house was clean and accommodated our group of 8 very well.

Stayed with another family and there boys. 5 boys in all. And if this is your brood i highly recommend this cabin. The boys constantly switched between game room activities after hiking all day. Great way for parents to relax and boys to continue the fun.

We enjoyed our stay at Spark of Life!! We had 8 adults and 2 small children. We all loved the games and the large table for our family to all enjoy breakfast together.
We had more than enough room and we loved having the 5 bathrooms!! The cabin was about 2 miles from downtown gatlinburg which was great as well.
I was able to work remotely from the cabin one day and the WiFi was great. We were able to log in to our streaming accounts to watch the Alabama football game too!! We also brought our roku and hooked it up in the media room via the projector.
The checkin and out process was effortless and the communication with Bear Tracts was prompt and courteous!!

Not at all happy with our cabin. The theater room chairs were covered with mold. The whole lower level smelled of it, you could even smell it at the top of the staircase leading down it. If mold has gotten into the furniture in the lower level you can be certain it is in other area's also. This is a safety issue. They sent maintanece out to look at it when we complained upon arrival. Their solution was to wipe the furniture down with bleach. The furniture should have been removed and a full mold inspection done before this cabin was rented. This problem did not happen overnight and has probably been like this for awhile.

The cabin was perfect for my family to reconnect. Everyone had enough space so that you weren't on top of everyone! April & Matt were extremely prompt in addressing any need and every question. They even had a brand new griddle dropped off to us so that I could make pancakes for my grandson. Could not ask for any better hosts. Even if it rains (which it did) there were enough activities to entertain everyone. The air hockey table doesn't provide a lot of air, but we still had a blast. Wish you had a gas grill.

I traveled with my family to Gatlinburg for our summer vacation. The cabin was just as described. Plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved playing the arcade games that were in the basement. Loved that each bedroom had a bathroom. Conveniently located to everything we wanted to do in Gatlinburg.

My family of 16 people enjoyed our time staying at Spark of Life. Never once did the kids say they were bored! Beds were comfortable, tv’s in every room, hot tub, great showers, well equipped kitchen, a wonderful long table, game room and a theater room! We loved it all! Our three year old granddaughter cried to go back when she came home! She enjoyed being there with her cousins! We are planning our next trip! Thanks Matt and April!
