Lovely sea view. There is a small lift.
Doesn’t honour Booking.com loyalty genius so no free upgrade for the small dark room we were offered. We had to pay an extra £90 to upgrade and still no breakfast included. We couldn’t open the windows. We had to pay an extra £12 to park, then argue with other guests when they parked in our space. There is no bar or restaurant or any other facility there. It’s just a very basic B&B charging hotel prices. The shower is far too small and didn’t drain properly. The duvet was stained. Would not go back or recommend.

The room was clean. We were also given a fan, as the window only opened about an inch and it was a warm night.
We arrived at 9:00pm, as we informed the hotel that we would be, but we had to wait for 20 minutes before any staff arrived in reception. The first room that we were taken to stunk of cigarette smoke, so we changed to a different room. We knew it was going to be basic, but the bed was rock solid, the pillows were thin and offered no support, the toilet didn't always flush when we pressed the flush button, the toilet roll holder fell out of the wall during the night and the power of the shower was extremely low. We won't be staying in a Best Western Hotel again.

Really liked the whirl pool bath, great sized room, loads of space and bathroom big too.
Staff were great, friendly and super helpful. Good size TV too!
Needs some finishing touches decorating wise to make it a 10/10, shame there isn’t more parking but there is loads on the seafront anyway

Breakfast itself was good and we especially liked the pastries
Good coffee at breakfast is important to me and a push-the-top thermos flask of coffee coloured drink just doesnt do it. Cant be too hard to lay on a filter machine?

We really enjoyed our stay her! The hotel was lovely and clean the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
We will definitely be going back thank you for a lovely break away :0)

We have stayed at the Exmouth Best Western twice now in order to visit the beach which is right on the door step. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated and airy. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and the beds comfy. There is parking outside. And the breakfast is nicely cooked with a good selection. I couldn't fault the hotel and we will be staying there again. Highly recommended.
No issues. All good.

Clean and good location
Hotel was freshly painted in our room but very dated

Close to the seafront and lovely views over the estuary. The hotel has recently been taken over by new staff we were led to believe. However the staff were friendly and courteous.
The bar facilities were not open.
Also, there was a certain staff member who took breakfast the same time as us one day and she didn’t stop talking into her phone (video call). It felt quite rude as she also had a young child as well who didn’t stop creating a disturbance. We made sure that the next day she wasn’t taking her breakfast the same time as us.

Clean linen, comfortable bed, great view
Ensuite shower in a cupboard

Great location . Large room comfortable bed. Good cooked breakfast
Unpleasantly noisy room We stayed 3 nights in room 18. Friday Saturday Sunday. The worst thing was the loud intrusive jazz type piano music played all day in breakfast room under our room all day from just after 7am until almost which seemed to be directly the beds. 11pm Loud roaring noise from air extractor chimney on the wall between the windows ( Friday pm started 4.00 pm until 5.30 then at 6.30 am on next 2 mornings waking us then the piano music compounded that) We complained on our first evening after having problem trying to nap in the Friday afternoon. We were assured it was switched off early evening . I had to get dressed and ask for it to be switched at 10.45 pm as it had continued and we were unable to sleep. Woken up at 6.30 Saturday morning by vibrating fan and plonking piano . Refused change of room ! Assured music would be switched off but felt we were treated as making fuss over nothing as the staff felt the music was necessary and they said no one else had complained. It was turned off by 10.15 on the next 2 nights. But still started at 7.15. It isIncomprehensible why.loud repetitive music in an empty room was so important to the hotel and why there was no understanding that it was disturbing to their guests.
Spoilt our relaxing weekend and although manager apologised it was obviously not a real apology as nothing was done to help make our stay pleasant and made me feel as if I was being difficult by complaining.
Hotel had poor signage - small sign at entrance to narrow road at the front of the terrace but no indication of entrance or hotel parking so confusing and not welcoming

On the seafront so good location
Bedding and bedroom were clean
Weeds and pothole ridden driveway, no signage over the door, broken and tatty garden furniture with sand bucket full to the brim of cigarette ends. Hadn't been emptied for a long time.
Photos on website are misleading. Gives the impression there's a bar, when in fact this was permanently out of use as there was no stock behind it!
Communal areas very tired.Windows in dining room dirty with bird poo. Hotel was very cold despite being June due to a cold snap. No effort was made to put the heating on in rooms or communal areas. Broken blinds at the windows.
Shower tray drain blocked .
Round toilet seat fitted onto a square toilet and broken
No window or extractor in bathroom
TV set was tiny, haven't seen a TV so tiny in a hotel room since the eighties and didn't work properly. The management changed this for another tiny tv which was also faulty.
No one came to clean the room after the second day so had no clean towels
Left a day early as we were so disappointed with the hotel
Management dis -interested with our issues

On the seafront close to the town
Very noisy in corridor next to our room from about 4 45am.
Breakfast ok but not the hottest also sausage and bacon hard
Would not stay again as there are better places in exmouth for the money
2.5
Great location on the promenade and close to local amenities
Very overpriced , very limited parking, no bar or restaurant, couldn’t watch a programme on tv without it losing signal and staircase stunk of weed but otherwise ok
3.5
Great location
Parking chaotic however did manage to find a spot for the 2 days
Bathroom shower in need of a refurb , abit mouldy

Fantastic location on the sea front. Lovely, clean bedroom with comfy beds. Fabulous friendly staff. Very accommodating. Great breakfast. Lovely communal areas which are very clean and tidy. Great value for money.
Nothing.

The breakfast was excellent a good choice of cooked items. The location of the hotel was ideal.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was good but a little limited.
Finding the hotel was a nightmare in that there were only two tiny signs on either side of a double door. I spent 45 minutes trying to find the hotel. I finally had to park the cat and walk to find the reception. I phoned the hotel many times but it went to answer phone every time.
I thought the cleanliness of the room was poor. The toilet seat was loose and it was evident that the toilet had not been cleaned properly. It was Room 24

Location, room and bathroom good, staff friendly
No bar open at time of our visit

Breakfast was excellent and plenty to choice from.
The hotel was excellent and nothing needs changing.
The car park was a little difficult when we arrived but the man on reception helped us.

Loved the fantastic see view
Paid for park, which wasn't made clear when booking room

It was a last minute plan and we were very lucky that there were just the last 2 rooms left for me and my family to stay. I was so grateful to the entire team for looking after us at those wee hours in the night.
That they could only offer limited rooms.
4.5
The hotel staff were very friendly, polite, welcoming & attentive, We were upgraded to a large sea view room, which was warm, comfortable, clean, with a large shower.
A good choice of continental breakfast & hot food cooked to order. The food was of a good quality & again, a prompt service too.
The central beach front location provides easy access to the promenade, shops & restaurants.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
Limited & chargeable on site parking, no room service was provided (even though it is offered), very small bath towels. The hotel is looking a little tired ( but is currently undergoing refurbishment by the new owners).

Staff were excellent and property very clean.
Loads of lovely fluffy towels 👍
We were in room 12 and it was cold . The hotel elsewhere was warm .
4.5
The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. It was my birthday and they made it special by upgrading my room. The rooms were freshly painted with brand new carpets and was really clean.
It would have been lovely to have had a functional bar so we could have had a drink on site but it didnt spoil our stay.
5.0
The helpful welcome. The upgrade to a sea view. The brilliant breakfast. The attentive staff.
I can't honestly think of anything!

Check-in: Great location on the seafront. I was well met at the reception and guided to the room. The room (single) was neat, clean and tidy.
Breakfast: The dining room was well set out with a good choice of self-service options and breakfast was cooked to order.
Staff were attentive and polite.
The hotel sign was very difficult to see and I went past it twice before it was pointed out to me. Parking spaces are mixed in with residential spaces so it was difficult to know where to park.
The bed was a bit 'rickety'. Stable enough but it's base needs some TLC.
There was no handbook with details of hotel services and local amenities, trips, etc.
4.5
Staff very friendly and helpful. Located in the centre of the esplanade and easy access to the town centre.
Our bathroom was quite cramped and the show water pressure was poor.

Location was great
The room smelt strange and the shower had hair in. The bathroom was so small and the shower pressure was non existent, as well as the door swinging off its hinges. Generally just uncomfortable
2.0
very good, excellent service. lcation was good for us, as we wanted to be near the ferry departures.
room was cramped, especially the bathroom.toilet dirty but reception did try and get it cleaned to no avail. Also toilet seat
fixings were broken, making it loose.
4.5
We had breakfast on one of the days, we required a gluten free breakfast and a vegetarian breakfast and the staff went out of their way to provide. Both breakfasts were delicious.
(Room 50)Could do with double sockets each side of the bed as most people like to plug their phones in overnight to charge and use as clock/alarm. There was only one socket on one side of the bed and therefore only one bedside lamp too. A little frustrating, but didn’t spoil our stay at all!

Helpful staff
No heating on a cold and windy night.
No evening drinks
Lounge not inviting

Have stayed in Best Western hotels before. and this was definitely of a lower standard. Didn't read booking details properly so expected choice of continental or cooked breakfast. Also I thought I had paid for breakfast included, which it was not. However, hotel staff kindly overlooked this.
Interior of hotel looked a little scruffy (but clean) although it has first class position right on sea front. Very poor quality furnishings in front lounge. Upstairs had recently been painted and overpowering smell of ?paint. I was on 2nd floor, room 51. Shower door did not close properly. Water leaked from between shower head and hose. I reported this to reception when checking out.
4.5
Staff very obliging.
The hotel room was very comfortable and very warm with a fabulous view .
Breakfast for Gluten free. It would have been nice to have had Gluten free cereals for breakfast I felt this was below usual Hotel standards Overall experience I would definitely stay again.

The property is in a perfect location to be getting about Exmouth- right on the sea front, to the point you can hear the waves from your room.
Staff were fabulous, smiley and proactive.
Bathroom was large, shower and bath.
Comfy beds with decent pillows.
Excellent view- see pic
The heating was a little too warm out first night of stay but easily sorted once we had spoken to the staff.

Our room was clean the reception was very welcoming and the property felt very cosy, the view from our beach view window ( which they upgraded us to) was amazing. They also kindly let us stay a few extra hours in our room after we explained that we had a table booked for later on.
