Bien pour la maison mais un gros bémol concernant le comportement de la propriétaire du logement

J'ai aimé la surface de la maison, les équipements, l'emplacement de la maison, l'immense jardin, la plage privée

Je n'ai pas apprécié le comportement de la propriétaire lorsqu'on l'a sollicité pour régler un problème, les dobermans lâchés du voisin qui nous faisaient peur quand on allait à la plage, le manque de coussins dans les lits, le bruit du frigo qui est très bruyant et la tonne de moustiques.

Unfortunately the property was advertised as air conditioned while only 1 room out of 3 was air conditioned. There were 3 dobermans running freely on the property. Even if someone is not afraid of the dogs, having 3 dobermans run at them is not ok. Our kids could not be left alone. The location is great and I am sure the host tries to do their best, but unfortunately the beach is not usable due to red ants.

I literally almost cried when it was time to leave

The location is unbelievable. Not only did my wife and I have our own, private beach... We had a private coral reef as far as the eye could see in either direction! You really can just snorkel right off the beach. We brought paddle boards so we could float over the shallowest parts so as not to disturb the coral. I would highly recommend bringing either boards like this or using the kayaks provided to paddle out to deeper water (just about 40 yards out). There is a kayak anchor located in the house in a drawer in the kitchen. Only twice in one week, a guy paddled by us in a row boat. But that was it! No other tourists/vacationers. Just remember to pick up lots of groceries at the Champion store by the ferry dock. There are some good restaurants about a 10 minute drive from the place. And on our last night, we just drove a couple miles up the road, stopped at a local BBQ stand, and it was delicious as well. Also, we were fortunate enough to meet the actual owner. She is super nice and even took us on a snorkel tour of the adjacent bay. It was like $35 per person but well worth it as she'll also tell you local legends that enriched our experience and is really just a nice person to be around.

There was only one pair of adult fins in the snorkel bin (luckily, I brought my own). There weren't any blankets. Not that it gets cold in Moorea. My wife and I are just used to sleeping with one since we're from a colder climate. Don't expect a gym, a pool, or someone there serving you pina coladas. It's a nice house in a local neighborhood. That's it. But that's the true beauty of it.
