Convenient location and base to visit Mt Cook if you do not wish to stay in Mt Cook

Location near Twizel town, price was reasonable. Kitchen was good enough to prepare some light meal with cooking oil, salt, sugar and pepper provided.

Tap head was leaking at the sink in the bathroom. Think one the lights in bathroom not working. Some of the furniture a bit dated but acceptable considering its price.

Comfy and has all the basics. Spacious for a group.

It was clean and spacious, big yard, well equipped with furniture inside and out. Lovely linen and comfy beds.

No actual view of the surrounding mountains.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful simple home, with heat pump and wood burner in the lounge/kitchen area making the house really warm at 1° weather, the windows and doors condensates but the good heating dries them up (except the bedrooms) Kitchen has complete items you need for cooking, and spacious dining table. Comfortable beds, has few extra pillows and clean towels. There is a garage play area too, great for kids.

By the time at 10 or 11pm when you plan taking a shower after the dishwasher is done, the shower water becomes too cold so I ditch taking a shower on the first night. I suggest to use the dishwasher after everyone has showered. And extra heating in the children’s bedroom during winter will be great, that room is too cold.

Enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose it again

Comfy beds, fireplace and heat pump, lovely hot shower, great size backyard for summer rentals, garage set up for kids (again for summer).

Dreadful

The electric blankets on the beds in two of the bedrooms, bath available.

It was minus 2, there was no heat on at all we had to search for wood behind the garage none indoors. No firelighters, gas lighter not working There were dirty nappies in the bin in the bathroom spare pillow and duvet filthy no light in bedside lamp carpets rucked and stained

A comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay.

The house was very comfortable and had a homely feel about it. We slept well and enjoyed the facilities provided (heating, wifi, tv, etc). The location was good, only a couple of minutes drive from the centre of town. We used the property as a 2-day stopover so we could do a day hike at Mt Cook. The property was excellent for this and we found it to be very good value for money.

We were happy with all that was provided and the property served us well.

So far so good we are safe at the end.

I like the flowers in the garden and the cleanliness of the house.

The door was opened when we arrived, it didn't need a key to open . At night we want to lock the front door, but we can't. So we all can't sleep well through the night.

upon arrival, the outdoor water hose had a crack and water was gushing out. The shower head holder fell on one of them and had to fix it himself. quite hazardous. Hot water pressure too low.

Really comfortable house with everything we needed. Great to have the heatpump on for us for when we arrived

Only negative was the firewood was wet so didn't get a real fire

Great to stay for few days at a good value

I loved the log burner which makes it cozy, beds were comfy and the garage was a good fun with the fussbal table and toys for my little one :)
