Awesome!

Although it's a pet friendly property, there was zero evidence of previous pet inhabitants. There is a lovely small park two blocks east and on the water that was great for early morning dog walks. It's a long flight of carpeted stairs to the rental. It took my pup a minute to learn to walk slowly when going down. Would definitely stay there again. You're smack in the center of downtown, but it is super quiet with a deck seemingly carved out of a mini Florida jungle. Keyless entry is super convenient.

Google maps took us right to the building, however the realtor office signage on the first floor threw us off a bit. To help others, when you see the Gibson hotel outdoor seating, the unit is directly across the street and the station is immediately west.
Easy access to the unit. The parking is adequate but right on the street and might be challenging to large vehicles.
The unit was up the stairs, access was a typical code lock. Access and parking was communicated well by the proprietor. The unit was clean, furnished adequately and offered more than enough seating for the wife and
I. This unit has the deck on the backside facing palm trees and a lot of foliage, no water view. If you want the front balcony to view and hear the highway, rent unit B.
Overall it was a great stay for us, fished SGI & CSB, ate at the local App eateries. We'll be back in the fall.

Great place to stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Make sure you note the $100 Pet Fee in the fine print.

Really loved the 3 nights we stayed in Unit C. Check in and out was super easy. Parking right in front of the unit.
In the past we have stayed at Gibson Inn and other hotels in the area. But now this will be our go to place. Everything was clean. Bed was comfy. Linens were good quality. We only made toast and coffee, but it seemed the kitchen was stocked well if you choose to cook. Coffee pods were furnished for the Keurig. The quiet little back porch was secluded, and we enjoyed coffee there and watching all the birds. The building is very close to the highway, but we did not notice any road noise. Two things I would add - a full length mirror - perhaps on the back of the bedroom door, and a throw to use while watching TV. Great place - Loved it!

I read that oyster harvesting was halted until 2935. Disappointed in that news but not in my accommodations. Very happy

I was looking for a few checklist items in my hunt for a place to stay: Clean, Budget friendly, and Close by to all the downtown eateries, boutiques and local shops. This fit all of them. Was easily able to walk to all downtown destinations.

Really enjoyed our time in Apalaciocola. Charming town. Nice restaurants and shops. The apartment was as advertised so I have no real complaints. I’d wish for a furniture upgrade and maybe some ceiling fans. But that said everything was in working order and we had a great time.

The apartment is within walking distance to Apalachicola’s restaurants and shops. St. Georgia Island is an easy 15 minute drive away.
The apartment is very clean and spacious. The owner welcomes pets, both cats and dogs. The parking problem mentioned in previous reviews no longer exists. The parking spaces in front of the building are now reserved for tenants. The owner is very businesslike and responds quickly to texts. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Close to all the wedding events we were apart of. The only thing it would be nicer if there were throw rugs in bedroom and living room. All else was wonderful! We will stay here again

Wonderful and spacious 1 bedroom/1 bathroom condo. Had everything we needed including a patio balcony and complimentary parking right in front of the unit. The location was right in the center of town, walking distance to everything. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

I had a great time staying in historic downtown Apalachicola. The place was cozy, quiet, very comfortable, and Tony was an excellent host. It was easy to walk to the local shops and restaurants and just a short drive to St. George Island for some beach time. I highly recommend staying here!

We had an amazing stay here. It was my husband, my nephew, and I, but there was another bed for another little one with the adjustable/modern couches. We will definitely stay there again!

Fairly represented online. Very clean and comfortable. Good location for walking to stuff in Apalachicola. Don't really like being on a main street but it was certainly quiet and very pleasant. The apartment has all the necessities and comfortable furnishings. I would certainly try to stay here again.

Loved this place, very clean, lots of room. Up one flight, wide stairs, no problem. Unit C has a back balcony with lots of greenery coming up from below. Memory foam bed was really comfortable. Overall, great!

We travel to Apalachicola / St. George nearly every year at least once a season. We usually stay in St. George or in our Camper at the State Park, this is the first time we have stayed in downtown Appalachicola. The location of the apartment(s) is very convenient and quieter that we had expected. Parking was sometimes an issue due to the restaurant next door and lack of more noticeable signage for prevent parking.
The apartment was spacious for two and the King bed very comfortable, as retired Interior Designer I always notice issues such as inappropriate down lighting, cold color temperature bulbs in lamps (we brought our own light bulbs and dimmers), lack of task lighting in kitchen (under counter lights) no rugs to soften and unify the TV area and bedroom, and modest quality linens, towels, accessories etc. All if this has little value to most visitors I would guess. The unit was very clean save for the windows and french door which were really dirty. All in all, and for the money a very enjoyable place to stay in downtown Apalachicola.

Pet friendly apartment in Apalach
We enjoyed our stay. The inside of the apartment was very clean. We like to sit on a deck but area behind the building was overgrown and full of discarded items. The linens could stand to be replaced and when I stripped off the sheets, I found the mattress cover stained in several places. We would rent again if we take our pup, but will take our own bath and bed lines. Also, it is upstairs which can be a problem if you are older.

Spacious, modern, very clean and location convenient
I was in town for the BBQ contest so I could have just walked from this location. It is close to shops and restaurants. It was easy to get into with the electronic lock. Very comfortable.

Perfect Location
We loved our stay at this property. It is a perfect location within walking distance to all that Apalachicola has to offer. The property manager was prompt in answering my questions and check in was easy. The bed was comfortable. The listing advertises that it sleeps 4. However, there is a king sized bed and a futon in the living room. This unit sleeps 3 comfortably. The deck on the back was nice, but the gate is locked to access the stairs that led to a back yard. It would have been nice if it were open making it easier to take our dog out being that the front of this property is a very busy street. We love Apalach! We will return.
