We’re committed to following cleanliness guidelines for our guests. We were dedicated to providing a clean experience before Covid 19 ( see past reviews over the years) and now have enhanced protocols. We are hands-on owners and inspect before our new guests arrive to ensure cleanliness.

Location, location, location! Imagine hearing the waves crashing and walking with your favorite beverage to sit and watch the waves roll in off the Marginal Way. Tucked around the corner on a private road but literally steps to Perkins Cove and The Marginal Way. Walk to the beach or jump on the trolley which is 75 steps away from your front door. This two-bedroom, two full-bath home has updated bathrooms, an updated kitchen, the furniture you want to curl up on, stainless steel appliances, a new front load washer & dryer, and more. Linens, towels, beach towels, 4 beach chairs with umbrella, air conditioning, dishwasher, and gas grill. Just buy the lobster down the street.

We loved this clean well kept up cottage with new appliances and just steps to Perkins Cove and the beautiful Marginal Way coast. It is even better than the pictures and the beds were confortable. The owner was very kind and responsive. Such a lovely find- a hidden gem of you are looking to stay in Agunquit. You can walk to shops and resturaunts and the water. An added bonus was excellent washer and dryer

We enjoyed the location of this well appointed comfortable space. It is tucked away yet close to everything in just a short walk. We will definitely be looking to stay again in the future. The host went above beyond to make sure our stay was perfect!

Three generations of ladies enjoyed our stay at Tara Cove Cottage. Perfect location, walk to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, downtown and beach. The cottage was lovely, quiet, while still close to everything. Deirdre was a delight to work with. Very communicative.

The cottage was perfect for 2 couples. The location could not have been better. We loved walking to Perkins Cove for lobster and the beach was so close. We also enjoyed seeing Waitress at the Ogunquit Playhouse, the show was Broadway level with many original tour cast members. We definitely recommend this destination and cottage.

perfectly located, very well equipped kitchen but the mattresses are very soft, the garden furniture is outdated and uncomfortable, the windows are difficult to open and the air conditioning is super noisy and hardly works. Overestimated cleaning fees, in 4 days, no visits or emptying of trash cans. We didn't feel like we got our money's worth.

This is a really great cottage in an amazing location. It is located about 200 yards from the entrance to The Marginal Way! An very easy walk to Perkins Cove and several great restaurants. All of our communications and questions were promptly answered. We had a wonderful stay!

Major selling point here is location, which simply can't be beat. 2 minutes to Marginal Way; 5m to Perkins Cove. And off the main streets, so quiet and comfortable. Kitchen has everything (and there's a grill on the deck). And there's plenty of bathroom (2) for 4 people. Downside: ultra-soft mattresses (suggesting chiropractic) and window AC units producing lots of noise, but little cooling. Overall: very enjoyable one-week stay.

Great location and super clean. Lots of outdoor space. Really appreciated the dishwasher and options for cable or streaming. Had an issue with an AC unit and the owner was prompt in replacing it the same day! Can't wait to stay here again!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Cottage was very clean and updated. Nice master suite with private bath and a great back yard. This house was just a few steps to the path to Perkins Cove, or you could take just a few steps down Shore Road to the cove if you’d like to see and visit the shops along the way. Communication with owner was efficient and she was very helpful.

The location was exceptional, we did not have to get in our car once, everything was very walkable, even with a baby stroller. This little gem is perfectly located a short distance from the shops and restaurants in Ogunquit. We loved how easy it was to get everywhere! The house was immaculate...super clean, and well appointed. Deirdre was very responsive and easy to work with. She even drove 30 minutes back to the house to help us figure out a problem with the cable TV...so sweet of her! We loved our stay, and look forward to renting again next year. Thank you, Deirdre!

Our experience was wonderful! The house was very clean, it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, my children loved playing in the backyard, and riding their bikes in the neighborhood. This location was perfect, close to everything we love to visit. We will be booking again next year!

Highly recommend this sparkling, super-clean and cozy cottage. It feels secluded but literally just steps from the Marginal Way, Perkins Cove, shopping and dining. Our stay at the cottage was perfect. The location is great, we walked to town every day. It’s right next to Perkins cove which makes for a great evening on the harbor. The cottage was clean and it’s set back from the road which makes it quiet. We will be back!

We have been visiting Ogunquit, Maine for 34 years. We have stayed in hotels and condos over the years…but this cozy, comfortable and clean cottage was ideal! This gem of a rental property is nestled in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood just a short walk to Perkins Cove & downtown Ogunquit-our car rarely got used! The back porch was the ideal setting for morning coffee…it overlooks a field of wild flowers and Maine evergreens…bring binoculars if you enjoy birding!! The house was very well appointed-we didn’t lack for anything. All dealings with the homeowner were pleasant and timely.

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. It was perfect for our family of four. Everything is within walking distance which made it super easy with 2 little kids. It was a little tough getting to the beach with little ones and all of our stuff. I probably would have drove down and parked next time. Overall we had a blast and would highly recommend staying here! Can’t wait to come again!

This adorable cottage has the perfect location in between Perkins Cove and downtown. Also great Marginal way access for beautiful walks. Our family enjoyed our stay and ability to rarely drive the car. Host was very communicative and kind. Would recommend highly.

Deidre's home was exactly as described and was the best rental home I've ever stayed in. The home was very clearly cared for, with newer appliances and comfortable furniture. Everything was also very clean upon our arrival. My family and I truly hated to leave at the end of our trip as it really felt like our 'home' for the week. You can't beat the location so close to Perkins Cove and Marginal Way. It was just perfect all around. Deirdre was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Also to note, we traveled in an electric car and the house provided an outdoor plug right at the front door, which was exactly what we needed. I can't say enough good things about the house and look forward to a future stay.

I loved our time at this perfect little house in Ogunquit! It’s setting right off the main road made it accessible yet peaceful and quiet during our stay. I loved walking around the neighborhood each morning with my children. The house has everything you need, no matter how long you are planning on staying. We were only there a couple of days and I wish we could have stayed longer. Owner was sweet and responded quickly to questions. Would definitely return again!

This was our first visit to Ogunquit, and we were extremely pleased with this immaculately clean and well appointed cottage! It is situated in a quiet, private area within walking distance to many of the attractions offered in this charming area. We were fortunate to have met our hosts, Deirdre and Drew, who were most attentive and accommodating ! The home is pristine, with comfortable beds and bedding, good sized bathrooms (the water pressure in the showers was amazing!) a fully stocked kitchen if you choose to prepare a meal and a private deck on which to sit and relax. Would highly recommend this property, and our thanks to Deirdre for sharing your beautiful home!
