About this house rental
Buckeye on the Point is a beautiful beach house
Buckeye on the Point is a beautiful private beach house and private pool, on Innerarity Point where you can come relax and enjoy the old southern charm of Perdido Key. Located short drive to the sugar white sands of Johnson’s beach and Perdido Key Beach, and minutes to Big Lagoon State Park and NAS Pensacola, you will be close to everything Pensacola has to offer. Take a short drive to Orange Beach for an afternoon at the Wharf or hit A Gallery Night Downtown Pensacola.
Nestled between the Intracoastal to the south and Perdido Bay to the north, the Innerarity Point peninsula is protected from the Gulf winds by two barrier islands, Perdido Key and Ono Island. Like the Gulf of Mexico itself, our sanctuary has proven its resiliency time and again. As Ivan-damaged trees have regenerated since 2004, we have delighted in a growing population of ospreys, along with the pelicans, herons, bluebirds, owls, dolphins, mullet, blue crabs, snapper, flounder, tug-pushing barges, luxury boats, sailboats, naval aircraft, and storied Blue Angels that regularly entertain and nurture a sense of belonging.
The night sky twinkles on starry nights and casts ethereal beauty when the shimmering moon shines full and bright. Windows cracked opened in the evenings from Fall through Spring let in the fresh salt air and the melodious sounds of calling birds, crickets, frogs, and diesel-powered tugboats.
Everything you need is within a few miles of the house including beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, and more. A public boat ramp leading into the bay is just .8 of a mile away. Even a beautiful updated park for young children to play and right on the water to play in the bay. Experience a laid back Gulf Coast lifestyle with this newly built home in Perdido. With 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and wide open living space, there is room for the entire family. A large fenced patio with pool overlooking a treed lot. Enjoy the quaintness of true salt life with easy access to the beaches, restaurants including Hub Stacy’s and The Point one of the top seafood dives in Florida within walking distance. Also, short 5 minute walk to Innerarity park which has a nice beach and docks to swim with Galvez Boat landing nearby. Also, kayak access near the house.

Loved the pool. Lots of beach towels. We used oven, microwave, coffee pot, toaster.

The house was well-situated for our needs and featured a pleasant pool with plenty of toys and equipment. We parked our boat at a nearby marina and did not need to walk to the beach from the house.
However, the property did not provide soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms as listed in the description. A quick trip to the Publix grocery store down the street resolved this issue.
Overall, the home is well-equipped with kitchen utensils, extra blankets, and beach towels. The main drawback was the older mattresses in all rooms, which were uncomfortable.
We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Overall it was a great stay! It has everything you could need, from extra blankets, anything you need for the kitchen, spices included, pool/beach supplies, and an abundance of towels. That was so incredibly appreciated for our large group!
If there were 1 thing to make note of, it would have to be that the upstairs stays a little on the warmer side and the dryer takes a little longer to get clothes fully dry.
It is conveniently located by the beach and the stores!
Would definitely stay here again!

5 stars is not enough for this vacation home. This home deserves extra stars. You will not be disappointed. The house is beautiful, SUPER clean and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The provisions and amenities are next level, and if our family were to every get the opportunity to have a home away from home, I would reach out to these owners to get advice because they have done it right. The beds were super comfortable the bathrooms were clean, and they provide everything you need and thought of things that vacationers tend to forget. You can 't go wrong here and hope to get to spend time here in the future. The communication was superb, and the pool was fantastic. All in all, the best place we have ever stayed at in the Pensacola area hands down!! Thank you to the cleaning staff and owners for making important things priorities. Loved it!. Odhams.

The best and awesome amenities, very clean house ,the pool was amazing for my kids , very close to local restaurants with delicious food , kids loves riding the bikes on the afternoons , last 2 day construction started and was very loudly but don’t brother us because we leave early to the beach and when we return the construction workers were gone .
Very pleased and grateful for this location, we loved it !

The house was wonderful. The only issue we was and not a big deal but the pool was was to cold. We didn’t use it and just went to the beach.

The house was great and had all the things pictured as advertised. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking with plenty of utensils and some pantry items. The garage was stacked with lots of options for outdoor activities which worked great with our family of four with teens. The road is quite busy but with teens we felt fine riding our bikes along the side of the road to explore the area. The pool area was very nice and we enjoyed sitting out there. The weather wasn't warm enough ( last week of March) to feel like we could use the pool although my crazy kids did try to take a cold quick dip a few times. Also a bit too cool to try out the kayaks. We drove to the beach and the garage had a great selection of beach items to choose from. Beds were comfortable. The area was a nice blend of access to restaurants and bars but also close to lots of parks. Beach access was easy to find and the beaches were very nice and not overly crowded. My husband and I both had to work some while we were there and had no connectivity issues. WiFi worked great.

5 Star Property
It was so thought out on design, decoration and especially the amenities. The garage was full of items ready for the beach from kayaks, snorkel gear, water boards, bikes and etc. He had everything - beach bags ready with towels, chairs, but umbrellas. Too much to list it all. The back yard view was well manicured with tall pine trees and water on both sides of the house - could not see water great, but the view was still terrific. The overall experience was beyond excellent!!!!!!!

Great home for a vacation the good and the bad.
The house was lovely, the location was good and they had kayaks and all the things you'd want for the beach in the garage. Now for the 2 things that were negative.
The upstairs was hot at night which is where all 3 bedrooms are located. Adding ceiling fans to the bedrooms would most definitely help. Also the Nest thermostat seemed to be scheduled and controlled by the owners which made it difficult to get comfortable upstairs. I recommend letting the guests control the thermostat. Saving a few dollars on an electricity bill is not worth a bad review. The 2nd negative was the parking, since the house is located on a busy street there was no street parking and the driveway only had room for 1 vehicle. That made it challenging since drove in from different locations with 3 cars.
Overall the house was great other than that.

Everything you need!
We had a great time at Buckeye Point! Innerarity point was a new spot for us to try, and we loved it! The house was stocked with everything you need. My kids loved the kayaks too!
The closeness of the boat launch was a big plus for us!!

Comfortable, Clean and well Equipped
This adorable beach house had everything we needed and was the perfect fit for our family and our daughters’ friends. The beach gear, bikes and kayaks were an added bonus!! You’ll need a truck to bring kayaks to the bay as the access is not in walking distance. The house is on a 35 mph road and has a narrow shoulder so biking may not be good for younger kids. Overall excellent stay!!

Even more beautiful in person!
Buckeye point is even more beautiful in person. It’s close to everything but far enough that you’re not in the hustle of the main traffic! The owners are wonderful. They tell you exactly what to expect and are so quick to respond to any questions or concerns that you have!! Will definitely be back!
