Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish.. the little touches, such as freshly made bread, eggs, and fresh milk, all waiting for us when we arrived. Laurain greeted us as we arrived and was so welcoming. The hot tub was already being warmed up prior to our arrival, which again was a nice little touch. The Birch was so so clean, nicely presented, and in the most perfect quiet location. There were alpacas, horses, sheep, a goat and pigs just in front of the cottage which is perfect for animal lovers! We were able to feed the alpacas and get close to the other animals as well. We even booked for 2 nights next year while we were there! Honestly can't recommend Stable Oak Cottages enough☺️
I honestly cannot fault anything about our stay here.

Absolutely ever, so cute!

Absolutely everything.
The little extra touches.
The friendliness of the guys there.
The facilities. I could go on forever, it was nothing short of perfect.
A touch more privacy for the hot tub would be a bonus but it certainly wouldn’t put us off coming again :)

The host was lovely. Home made muffins and bread on arrival. Great cottage with log fueled hot tub. Small but perfectly formed accommodation with all mod cons.

Though about going home was devastating lol

Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Everything to hand. Very relaxing and quiet. Super home made bread and banana cakes left by Laurain were a treat.

This place is absolutely stunning, beautiful area. Lovely animals. Super friendly and helpful. The fresh made bread and eggs from the farm, with butter milk, tea, coffee. All amazing. I cannot recommend this pace enough. You won’t want to leave!
The wood fired hot tub is really nice, beds were lovely and comfortable. Simply stunning in every way.

Absolutely beautiful location and surroundings. Warm and kind host who met us and could not be more accomodating. We had fresh produce avaliable in the room and hot tub was pre warmed for our arrival. We walked the grounds and met the alpacas! Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

The hosts were brilliant, very accommodating, helpful with discovering local gems to see and visit, The cottage we stayed was spotless, cosy and welcoming. Hot tub is a game changer but nothing will beat homemade blueberry muffins left by the host😁, one of the best places in Kent to stay and definitely to come back to. I would recommend that place to book and visit as its worth it, Amazing place to run away from busy town life.
There is nothing to complain about

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Internal decoration is very good, no chipped paintwork or scratches it looked brand new. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed, the inclusion of bread, eggs and cake as a welcome was really appreciated.
Hot tub was ready when we arrived and we spent a lovely hour in it on the first night. As we were only using the cottage as a base whilst we explored the numerous historical sites we didnt really get the chance to meet the owners or animals but the couple of people we did run into were really helpful and friendly.
Location was very quiet but really well placed for M20 .
Oven had an unpleasant smell when heated and set off the smoke alarm .
Private hot tub was not as private as pictures suggested. It was private in the sense that only cottage guests could use it but it is overlooked by other properties.
If you are staying more than 1 night you also need to be aware how long it takes to heat the hot tub and how much wood you need, our experience on the second evening was not good

Beautiful Birch Cottage! Clean and comfortable, with lovely little touches of decor. There was milk in the fridge with bread, butter, eggs, muffins laid out in the kitchen. Laurain answered all my questions promptly before we arrived, and the hot tub/jacuzzi was ready to go !!

The accommodation was amazing, clean with good facilities and a lovely cosy atmosphere. The hosts were lovely and allowed me to help with the animal feeding of their beautiful animals. The wood fire hot tub was incredible and smelt so good, as well as everything being eco friendly. The area itself was lovely and a nice breath of fresh air!

The cottage is absolutely beautiful , clean and well equipped, there was even some home made cakes and bread waiting for us on arrival. We loved the hot tub which was lovely and hot for us when we arrived. Laurain was a great host, very friendly and down to earth. We will definitely be back.

The hosts went over an above with some generous gestures after hearing my planned birthday holiday abroad had to be cancelled owing to protesters on the motorway. I'd had such a stressful time and just wanted a peaceful haven to unwind. This property was exactly that. I was slightly worried that the hot tub wasn't in a private location but we were left alone and it wasn't a problem at all. Lovely countryside view from the hot tub. Thankfully I don't live too far away as I'm sure I'll be returning!
