Absolutely fabulous! My daughter said it was her favourite place to stay the whole holidays

It was really interesting watching the boats get pushed to the port. Mac’s hotel was fabulous and the beach was very warm and clean

Great views and location relaxed coastal vibe

Apartment 2 Oceanscape is my review today… fabulous location water views from up and down stairs. Very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment bedrooms top level master with sitting area and balcony. Twin beds in second bedroom both sharing a large bathroom and laundry. down stairs living . Very light and bright and decorated very well giving the whole unit a relaxed coast vibe. Large TV well equipped kitchen dining for 4 and lounge. Comfortable beds and fully renovated bathrooms. Toilet downstairs and upstairs. Walking distance to pub and shops. Swimming beach across the road. Carport for car with direct access to home. One of the nicest places in Portland we have stayed at and over the years we have stayed at most. The hosts were lovely people to deal with.

It was a little noisy in the morning with a bit of road traffic out front but still slept well

Great escape.

I liked the location and the decor, the cleanliness of the unit.

The key was a little difficult to get out and the parking spot very tight.

Great Location, Superb Views, Comfortable with Everything you need and lovely Host.

We often stay here its the only place we do stay when we come to Portland as its right across from Nuns Beach, close to everything. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was comfortable and has everything we needed for our stay including free WiFi. There is a washer and dryer in the upstairs bathroom, lounge/dining area and toilet downstairs. Both bedrooms are upstairs with the main bedroom with the balcony that looks right out over the bay..The views from the balcony are amazing especially the sunrises, and sunsets can't beat them.. easy checkin, undercover parking at your door and the place was spotless. Our host Mandy was wonderful with her communication. Look forward to returning in 2025. We just love staying in Portland

Great stay. Wonderful location

Great spot with fantastic views. Well appointed with everything you'd need.

Felt like we needed to keep living area curtains closed otherwise it is super exposed to passing traffic. Some sheers would be good. Traffic noise.

Could have been better.

Plenty of towels. Nice White Bed Linen

On entry the property had smell, it could have been dampness. To overcome this we purchased Scented Candles, the first time we have ever had to do this. The Taps in the Shower are worn and old, making it very difficult to adjust the water to a usable level. We would rate this as a hazard, someone may easily get Burned or Scalded. Lighting is in general Poor, apart from the kitchen. There nowhere to place a cup or glass when seated in either settee, the should be a small side table.

Simple, tidy, and quiet.

It was quiet and tidy. Everything need for a short trip away. The host was quick and helpful with any issues.

There isn't much to not like. The beds were very firm but that personal preference and not so much a complaint.

Great position and very comfortable

Great location and views close to shops, cafes and hotels, plenty of room for 3 people, comfy mattress and pillows

Pleasant. Great location base for many walking trails.

Great location with great ocean views from bedroom and balcony ! Cruise ship came in overnight. Mandy is a great host and very helpful.

Well appointed 2-storey unit with good views and close to everything.

Spacious, well appointed, comfortable bed, good linen. Potted plants and nautical decorations a nice touch. Good view of harbour upstairs. Handy position, easy walk to shops, cafes, botanical gardens gardens.

Lack of double glazing meant fairly constant traffic noise from Bentinck St and the nearby roundabout except later at night. A scrim curtain upstairs and down would allow light in and privacy.

Ideal location close to beach and short walk to shops Balcony overlooking the ocean Convenience of two toilets

Water tastes very metallic in Portland. A cheap 1.5 litre of water in the fridge for the first day would have been welcomed. As a minimum, we should have been pre-warned. This is a 2-storey building- stairs !!

I would definitely return

The view from this property was breathtaking. A walk to all facilities, restaurants, supermarkets, shops.

The bed was a bit firm for me.

Probably a favourite in a after a fourteen property trip.

Great property in a great location. Would definitely stay again.

The unventilated bottom level toilet. The bathroom consumable supplies where underwhelming. One small bar of soap doesn’t cut it for two adults.

Like it says on the tin - Oceanscape!

View (GREAT!), location and general comfort. Parking at door. Everything you need inside to stay for a few days. Helpful info book. TV with Netflix and reasonable wifi speeds.

Towels etc a bit tired, no face cloth provided and shower pressure/mixing not as good as it could be. Think it may have been a Booking.com issue but did not receive the email about key collection either into inbox or on app until late on the night of arrival, which meant a short delay getting into the place. Mandy fixed this but after a long drive it was a bit annoying - maybe a direct text to occupants would be more reliable?

Excellent property

I was contacted by the owner just prior to arriving and given the necessary information to access the accommodation. The property was spotlessly clean. Just about everything you would need for a longer stay. Shower was hot and strong. Onsite laundry was welcome as we needed to do a catch up wash. Bedrooms were upstairs and beds were comfortable. Water views were exceptional.

The parking area was very tight for a medium SUV and the vehicle needed to be out for the passenger to get in and out

Comfortable stay in the centre of Portland.

The electric blankets were a god send!! Kitchen nice and large. Heaters worked well. Comfy seating and beds. Great having a separate loo downstairs. Walking distance to town.

The single beds were a little short for adults. 2nd room was a little squeezy with cases.

Views were amazing. Beds were extremely comfortable

Heating was an issue. We couldn’t get the split system to blow out warm/ hot air so bought a small heater down from upstairs. And it’s winter!!!! Otherwise a nice and tidy little place

Very good

location is very convenient, can see sunrise from the balcony. Decoration is nice. Overall is clean.

Light in car park area was broken. WiFi password in handwriting on the fridge and instruction paper is really hard to read... Hopefully it can't be changed to a print format. Sofa is really uncomfortable.

Portland was a nice surprise packet. We loved it and it was great to have a nice, central apartment to come home to.

Nice apartment in a great location close to everything including beautiful Nun’s Beach practically across the road. We enjoyed great views of the sea and the port from the front windows. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-appointed and the owner was very helpful and accommodating and replied to our requests promptly. Great beds and linen.

Bathroom & toilet doors don’t have locks. Towels need replacing.
