About this house rental
Lovely three bedroom house within walking distance of all that downtown Beaufort has to offer. Fenced in back yard. Off street parking. Sit on the swing or in the rocking chairs on the front porch and enjoy a lazy afternoon in our beautiful town.

Historic home. Had difficulty with AC until I reset the clock on the HVAC thermostat so the auto schedule kept the house temps moderated.

Loved our stay here! Location was great, and the outdoor shower and fenced-in backyard was perfect for kids. House had all the space we needed, we would definitely stay again!

The pictures of the property don't do it justice, this is a beautiful home in the heart of Beaufort. The kitchen is stocked and can accommodate any cooking needs. There are multiple restrooms throughout the home so large parties are never in limbo. The outdoor shower is also a major plus. On the weekends, you are a 3 minute walk from the Farmers Market, and 5 minutes from the waterfront and restaurants/bars. The property owner was also very responsive to any questions and needs. Overall this is a fine property and my group is already planning our next trip back.

This 100+year old property is in a friendly well loved community. The living room has extremely comfortable furniture to unwind and play games.
Unbelievably comfortable beds in a guiet neighborhood made for the best sleep you can get.
The two block walk to the waterfront for fun and food is delightful. We were in Beaufort for the 48th annual wooden boat show and were able to meet with some true craftsman. Taking a cruise of the harbor is a must.

It was lovely. It is just as the pictures captured it. The only suggestion I have is to clean the couches and chairs. Otherwise it was great!

I was hoping this property would impress me but unfortunately it didn’t. I will say up front that I am fussy. I expect accurate info, super clean home and attention to details. It was a good stay just not great. It was mostly very clean but upstairs shower curtain liner needs replacing, windows and back deck area need cleaning. Bathroom is not accessible, it just has taller toilet. Only one bedroom has a closet, the other 2 lack any space to hang any clothing. Hooks needed to compensate for no closets. Kitchen was stocked with most items needed to cook which we did a lot of. But no skillets at all. I travel with my cast iron which saved the day. Replacement coffee carafe does not work well. We had to constantly fuss with it to brew a full pot. Beds and furniture were comfortable and very nice quality. If you like a soft pillow bring your own. Pillows were very firm. Location was great. Quiet neighborhood with lovely properties and friendly people. Easy walk to town. Front porch had morning sun which was a perfect way to start the day.

Clean and comfortable. House has “good bones”. Authentic, simple decor. Loved the beach-themed “shabby chic”. Appliances like new and kitchen well stocked with utensils.
The backyard was in rough shape but the fence was sturdy enough to contain our pup, which was important. Thank you!

Perfect for our “girls” weekend to celebrate Mardi Gras in Beaufort! Comfortable furniture and beds, plenty of towels and a great front porch to sip a glass of wine or enjoy a morning cup of coffee.

The location to the waterfront was perfect.The cottage has been thoughtfully updated and beautifully decorated without losing its 1800th century charm.

Everything was great! The kitchen was well stocked, beds very comfortable and the house was spotless! Would def stay here again and would def recommend. (The only suggestion for improvement is to have privacy curtains in master bath in addition to shutters. I’m almost 5’11 and would have been more comfortable at night if I would have been able to cover the top part of windows.). But overall wonderful stay - and the family loved being able to walk to Front Street! Thank you!

My husband and I celebrated our 34th anniversary during our stay in Beaufort. Wonderful home, fantastic location. We loved the house and the fenced backyard was perfect for our Golden Retriever. The place was exactly as described, and Laura was very kind and responsive to questions we had. We look forward to returning next year.

This home was wonderful. We loved the outdoor space and the location. The inside was beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well stocked. It is within walking distance (5 to 10 minutes) to the waterfront, shops and amazing restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

We traveled from the western part of NC for my nieces wedding. It was perfect location to get to and from rehearsal, rehersal dinner and the wedding. 2 blocks from Front Street. Lovely home.

The home is everything it says online. Right in the heart of the historic district, updated furniture, spotless and clean, set up the perfect setting for my extended family. Check in / check out was simple - highly recommend

All was good except the need for more than one garbage container. Two containers would have made the stay better.

We really liked staying at this house. We sat on the front porch every single night and enjoyed the breeze and some wine! You can walk to everything from here. The owners did a great job making the historic home feel new!

Just loved this beautiful home, adorable neighborhood, and walkable location. Perfect stay for three couples. Very fresh and clean. Well appointed with most everything we needed. Will stay again! Host was also very responsive when we had the need to shift days.

The home was exactly as described, clean and perfectly situated for walking to everything in town or the historic district. The yard is fully fenced and was great for the dogs. The host is really responsive as well.

This property was exactly as described. Many historical details have been persevered. The modern kitchen/dining area had everything we needed. Although, we left our fur baby at home, the yard would have been perfect for him. Our human babies loved having the space to run. The neighborhood was nice with lots of people walking their dogs. It was an easy walk to Front Street. We would all stay there again.

We parked our cars at check-in and didn’t need them until departure. Two blocks to Saturday morning’s Farmers Market at the courthouse. Four blocks to the waterfront, shopping and dozens of restaurants. We loved walking through Beaufort’s historic district.
