Just what we were looking for to enjoy a long weekend. Meticulously clean, very pretty location and property. Very walkable. Jan was very accommodating for allowing bikes and kayak to be stored in a safe place.

Perfect place for visiting family and friends in Beaufort. Excellent location with easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants and to friends. It is in a quiet and residential location right across from the river so lots of nice walks. The accommodation was beautifully presented and included what we needed. The hosts are welcoming and responsive to questions.

Stayed here 4 days visiting Beaufort and Savannah and was just wonderful. The apartment was lovely and fit our needs perfectly. Very convenient to downtown Beaufort and took advantage of walking to the bluff several nights.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful location and walking distance to downtown. Just for awareness, there is not a freezer at the property, only a frig. Not a big deal if you don’t use a lot of ice. Also there is no closet for hanging clothing. I would have packed clothing less prone to wrinkling had I known this. Also not a big deal but just in case this review can be of assistance.

The property was smaller than we anticipated, The listing said it would sleep 3 but we did not believe that would be possible. We,had problems with getting signed into their internet. The a/c was not working when we arrived and a repairman had to come in. We were not real comfortable with parking on the street but didn’t have any problems. The listing says fantastic views however you have to stand in the street for the view

The Bluff is a beautiful place to stay that is so close to downtown. Property owner was easy to talk with and very helpful. The pictures give you exactly what you will get with this property. Perfect for a couples get away.

This beautiful clean loft is close to town and newly renovated. This loft is perfect for two people but no more than that as it is tight quarters. It was listed and shown as a living space is present outside of a bedroom and it is only one room. French doors don't offer privacy. Great view of the bay and in walking distance of restaurants.

Perfect spot for two!! Walked to marina and downtown! Jan very helpful and available if needed. Nice kitchenette for coffee and heating things in microwave and great small frig! Extremely clean with great bedding!

Our stay in Beaufort was wonderful from the cleanliness of the apartment and friendliness of the hosts to the location to all that Bay Street has to offer! It is perfect for walking if the temperature is cooperative. We would definitely stay her again!!

This is our 2nd time here and is the perfect location to stay at the Waterfront in Beaufort. The hosts are Wonderful people and their garage apartment is warm, extremely well decorated and comfortable!

Very nice little studio above the property owners garage. The bed is a mattress on top of a pull out sofa and was rather uncomfortable. We ended putting the mattress directly on the floor and it was much better. The location is great with a quick easy walk into downtown.

This is in a perfect location. We loved the walkability as well as the sights, smells and sounds of Beaufort. The host clearly wanted us to be comfortable and did a great job of anticipating the needs of guests. For us, the pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable. We ended up putting the mattress on the floor and we’re able to sleep better. It was a great week in beautiful Beaufort by the sea!

We came in to Beaufort for a wedding. The location is excellent, short 5 minute walk into town along the waterfront/marsh. Unit was very clean with all the accessories one would require. Bed was very comfortable. Nice size bathroom with plenty of towels and amenities. Check In process was confusing as there were no instructions listed in the VRBO check in tab. Knocked on the door of the host's house and met Mrs. Janet who invited us inside and walked us through the check in. She also provided several solid suggestions for lunch/dinner/breakfast. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Overall 5 Stars stay.

Three nights at the upstairs apartment made our first visit to Beaufort a memorable one. Very clean and comfortable with convenient access to the rest of the historic district. Highly recommend this great space made even better by our hosts’ hospitality.

Jan and Bob were wonderful hosts. Beautiful apt above new garage built to match their beautiful Bay Street home. 5 minute walk to downtown Beaufort parking is on street but always available. Completely furnished with embroidered towels, dish’s, small frig, toaster , kuerig, microwave , washer/dryer. The apartment is in the middle of the most beautiful houses on Bay Street and right across from the bay . Could not imagine a better location. Beautiful Anchorage Inn just down the street Thanks Jan and Bob !

As veteran users of VRBO and other companies, we have stayed at high end, low end, and everything in between properties. We’ve never given a bad review despite having varied accommodations. This was a disappointment. We never received entry instructions and despite calling, texting and messaging on VRBO, the hosts never replied. We had to knock on their door and when we introduced ourselves, they weren’t even aware of our check in date. The “apartment” was new and clean but was overstuffed with furniture and claustrophobic despite the fact that we were only two people. The reason we were most displeased was that the listing did not include that bed was actually a pullout sofa, which would have disqualified the property from our consideration. On our fourth day we came across the host again, and they did not recall who we were and seemed surprised that we were on the property. Very strange. The property had a driveway big enough for two cars but the host asked us to park on the street resulting in a dent - a hassle with the rental car company . Other than that, the property was well located, clean, and new. However, overall we felt that misrepresentation of the bed situation, the poor communication, and the fact that they didn’t know who we were after four days was just too much.
