It is clean, well stocked with every need and has plenty of room for our family of twelve ages 20 months - 72. I’m the grandma and enjoyed my own room and my three sons, their wives and children all had their separate spaces too. Plenty of bathrooms to match. Pier Marquette beach is the best beach in middle Lake Michigan. Loved the submarine next door, the deck and the best sand in the Great Lakes.

Incredibly helpful host and location easily walkable to beach. Had enough space to fit four families.

We really enjoyed our stay in Muskegon. We had 4 families traveling from 3 different states. The house easily accommodated everyone and their needs.
We cooked the majority of our meals and found the kitchen to have everything we needed in terms of appliances, ample utensils, and pots and pans. We enjoyed many meals, conversations and games on the screened in balcony.
The garage included many beach chairs and a beach cart for our use, which was very convenient, along with several bikes of various sizes.
The host was friendly and very communicative. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return again in the future!

We enjoyed sitting out on the patio watching all the different boats go through the channel. We also went down to the beach every day. Our grandkids enjoyed the several playgrounds in the area.

Room for all of us (12) in this nicely located home. My husband and I invited our 3 kids and their spouses (Age 31-37) and our 4 grandchildren (6 weeks to 3.5 years old) to come stay with us as their schedules allowed. We loved sitting on the screened in main floor deck watching the Freighters, Ferry, Cruise Ship and other boats, walking to the beaches and restaurants. The Century Club Shops, Muskego Western Market and Unruly on W Western Ave in Muskegon were fun to browse through. We also enjoyed Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo in New Era - a wonderful place for the kids of all ages. The Muskegon Lake Beach was super close and just the right size for the littles. Pere Marquette Beach is just beautiful. We walked to the sunset almost every night. The home was very well stocked with had nearly everything we required. Ed was an awesome host. He was very responsive to help us locate a few items and even anticipated our needs, bringing just what we needed! We highly recommend this place and would love to return if we ever plan to vacation in the area again.

We stayed last week with 8 adults and 4 toddlers. The place was just as described, but we were surprised to find it’s even better than the pictures! It easily had room for all of us. It was the best stocked rental we have ever had. Everything we needed was there, from kitchen supplies to beach chairs. They have truly thought of everything. The property manager was great to communicate with, and even stopped by twice to help with the keypad and a tiny kitchen issue. He arrived quickly and was so kind! Location was excellent. We enjoyed fishing right out the front door and a peaceful walk to the lighthouse. The balconies had beautiful views and the screened in one was great for our late night euchre tournaments. We could quickly walk to 2 beaches and they were beautiful! We loved the local restaurants, The Deck and Dockers. Great food and even better atmosphere with the live music!! We really had an excellent week and would not hesitate to return & recommend it to family & friends. Thank you so much for such a special week with our kids & grandkids!!

The Channel house was perfect for our 3 generation family reunion for 14 of us. The house was nicely furnished, and kitchen well stocked. The house was spacious enough for all of us, and had everything that we needed…even bikes for those who wanted to bike ride, beach chairs, etc. The host even loaned us some fishing poles to use! The location is unbeatable, with beaches at Lake Michigan as well as Lake Muskegon within walking distance. And fun just to watch the boats go by on the channel also. The host was very responsive and accessible, with references for pontoon boat and jet ski rentals, and any other questions we had. There’s plenty of activities to enjoy in the area. We spent a day at Michigan’s Adventure (water park and amusement park), and enjoyed supper at the Deck. Don’t hesitate to rent this lovely house for a fun Lake Michigan vacation!

Perfect multi family beach house
This house has plenty of room for family gatherings. There’s great space both inside and out and a great view from the decks overlooking the channel to watch all the boat traffic. The house was very clean and stocked with everything you need. The kids loves having the bikes to ride down to the beach and it’s also close enough to walk. Highly recommend!

Great place on the Channel!
This house is very comfortable and great for a group. Watching the boats go by on the channel is so fun! And there are 2 great beaches very close, you can easily walk to the one on Muskegon Lake. Everything you need is either there or a short drive away. And there’s plenty to do. We rented a pontoon boat and cruised the channel and lakes. And thanks for all the quick assistance Ed!

Wonderful Muskegon Vacation
We rented this property for our family vacation; 8 adults and 6 children ages 2-14. Plenty of room for all; house is lovely and so comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked with everything I could ask for. Fabulous location on the channel, loved watching the endless line of boats going by, especially 3 huge freighters. Especially loved the screened porch, many bikes, coolers, games and cards! Saw the WWII Submarine, did mini-golf, enjoyed beach days. One of the best West Michigan family vacations we’ve had, and look forward to returning next summer! Thank you, Ed, for your warm hospitality and prompt help when needed!

Great vacation near the wonderful Lake Michigan
We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely home on the channel. Everything was as described and there was nothing we were longing for. The kitchen was well supplied, there were bikes and coolers and some beach toys, and the house was clean and well kept.
This was a great family vacation, with kids ranging in age from 1 to 14. Everyone, including the adults, found plenty to do. We are already thinking about next summer and hoping this place will be available again!

Muskegon Beach 2022
We had a fabulous time at the house. Just a few minutes drive, walk or bike ride from one of the greatest beaches I’ve ever been. The house is immaculate. The screened in porch is perfect for breakfast and coffee conversations. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent home and host
Beautiful, clean home with an unbeatable view of the channel. My parents enjoyed the relaxing views from the screened in porch, while our kids marveled at the big ships. Ed was extremely responsive and made sure our experience was a great one.

Beautiful home!
This is an exceptional house, beautifully appointed and maintained, and it's in a great location. The home is comfortable and luxurious, inside and out. We especially enjoyed watching the boats going by on the channel, but never felt intruded on, because of the lawn that separates the house from the channel.
Also, the host is extremely helpful and communicative and the house is really well organized. We had a wonderful time and would wholeheartedly recommend this property!

Very accomodating
This is the 7th year our Leadership team has rented a space for our annual week long strategic planning session. There was more than enough space for 9 of us including multiple dining areas and 6 sleeping areas. We enjoyed the screened in deck most days and all fit comfortably. The house was well stocked with cooking, dining, and serving dishes as well. That is often not the case in our experience! The property manager communicated with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed as well. We look forward to booking next year's event with our host!

Unbeatable Location
We had a great time at this very nice property. The location was perfect as it falls between two beaches. The property manager was excellent and the house had more supplies than any other house I’ve rented. There is a huge amount of space, so everyone felt that they had some privacy. The best part was watching boats come in from the wonderful screened in balcony. The only thing I thought could be better was the cleanliness (floors, counter tops, refrigerator, window wells, etc.). For the nightly cost, I was expecting things to be cleaner overall although I do know I have comparatively high standards for cleaning. My friends and I would definitely recommend this house.

Great time
We had such an amazing time at this cottage. We planned this last minute and were so thankful we stubled upon this. We fished every day right off the end of the peer (use worms and leeches if you can find them ;-). We hiked a state park just to the south, rented a pontoon boat and tube, went to the beach and much more. We had a great time and plan on coming back in the future.

Great location and house. Just as advertised. Being on the channel is a great location, having bikes available is a real plus in this area. Excellent communication as we checked in and had questions. Highly recommend.

Great for our large family
The house was a great size for our large family of 14. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone. Very close to the public beach and restaurant called the Deck that had live music every night. We had fun exploring the area. Also, the owner and house cleaner went above and beyond to return some precious jewelry to us after we checked out, which we truly appreciated. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Muskegon area.

Beautiful lakefront house
We enjoyed our weekend in Muskegon very much. The house was spacious and immaculate. It has two balconies and a fabulous channel view. It is pin-drop quiet and peaceful at night. The owner was very attentive, but we didn't need his help; the layout of the house makes everything seamless. Among other things you will have eleven bicycles at your disposal! This is a premium location in a gorgeous area.
