About this apartment rental

My 2-bedroom, ground floor condo is located bayside of Coastal Hwy on the southern side of Dewey Beach. This is a family-friendly and safe environment located only one building away from the Police Station/Town Hall, and only a 2- or 3-minute walk to the beach. The HOA maintains a relaxing, calm, clean, and respectful community atmosphere. Included for your use free of charge are: 2 Dewey Beach Town Street Parking Passes, clean bed sheets/towels, all "essentials", shampoo/body wash/conditioner, 6 beach chairs, an umbrella, and various beach games and accessories. 10% discount for weekly bookings.
Our neighbor babysits and is available most evenings for Summer 2023 through mid-August - message me to make the arrangements!
The 2 bedrooms each have Queen beds, windows with light filtering shades and blackout curtains, nightstands on each bedside, drawers, closet space with clothes hangers, and portable bedroom fans. The living area features a comfortable sleeper sofa, and a flatscreen HDTV with cable and access to streaming services through the Xfinity X-1 box. There is free high-speed WiFi throughout the home. The kitchen has a full suite of GE major appliances, and is fully stocked with glassware, silverware, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cooking utensils, and 3 options for coffee: a Keurig, drip coffee maker, and Nespresso machine. Custom generated self-check-in keypad code will be sent to you after booking for entry using the Yale Assure Smart Lock. (This is a true, custom code unique to you and only active during the length of your reservation - not a recycled or re-used code you may encounter at properties without Smart Locks). My condo will be professionally cleaned with beds made and clean shower towels, hand towels, and wash clothes laid out on top prior to your arrival.
The max occupancy per Town regulations for the unit is 6 persons at all times. (Please do not invite over guests not in your booking group). My condo is part of the Bay View Condominium Association, which maintains a family-friendly environment. Please refrain from the following during your stay: smoking/vaping on the complex (including the outdoor patio common area), parties/events, loud music/excessive noise, and drunk/disorderly behavior. Please use the hose alongside the left of the building to rinse off sandy feet, keep personal belongings inside the condo unit (as opposed to the hallway or outdoor common area), and try to keep voices down when entering the building's hallway. Please open/close the doors quietly, keeping your hand on the knob until closed, as opposed to swinging or slamming them shut.
From the condo you can walk to beautiful bayside dining only 2 blocks south, and downtown Dewey Beach beginning 5 blocks north. There is a Jolley Trolley stop one block north across the street which can take you to Rehoboth Avenue and the Rehoboth Boardwalk for only $5 round trip!

My niece and I stayed at this location in February 2024. The place was perfect for our needs. It was super clean and Ben (the host), sent all the information we needed before checking in and checked on us during our stay. He was super helpful and nice! The condo is located midway between the ocean and the bay and was within walking distance of many restaurants. The condo appeared newly renovated and was perfect for two to four people. I would wholly recommend this rental and would definitely stay here again.

Condo exceeded our expectations! It was very comfortable, clean, and so cute. Kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals including some staples like spices and oil. Beds were comfortable and shower had great water pressure. Convenient one block walk to the beach. Loved the extra amenities like beach chairs and paid umbrella service that were provided. Host Ben was amazing — communicated multiple times prior to our arrival and graciously accommodated an early check-in time. He messaged to make sure we had everything we needed and when we checked out, asked if we had any suggestions for improvements. You won’t be disappointed!

My group of friends and I had a fantastic stay here! Everything was streamlined, from talking with Ben the day before to checking out on Sunday morning. Everything in the house was also labeled, so there was no guessing where things went.

We were looking for something with a convenient location for a short stay. The walk to the beach was short and easy with a well marked and lit crosswalk. The condo was spotless and had everything you may need. We loved the fact that Ben provided all the beach essentials. Beach chairs, sand blanket, toys, boards ect. The condo is close to several night life spots so you will hear people walking and talking on the streets but the white noise machine provided work just fine. Ben is super communicative and helpful.

Great condo with an amazing location. Host very communicative and on top of any possible issue. Check out process was relatively easy, however did not love how we were responsible for stripping the beds/taking out the trash. Shouldn’t the cleaning fee cover this?

Looking for a getaway where (almost) everything is ready for you - this property and owner have everything ready and already on-site. We had so much less to bring! Thoughtful arrangement and fully stocked apartment. Extremely organized and because you can walk to everything this is a one-stop for a great trip in Dewey.

We had a wonderful time at Dewey Beach during the week of the 4th, and Ben’s condo afforded us the opportunity to walk to all the things we needed and wanted to enjoy, including the beach, fireworks viewing(s), restaurants, coffee/ice-cream, and the trolley stop. We would recommend Ben’s place for a clean, well-maintained, and stocked (amenities and beach gear) location near the beach. Thanks, again!

I had a good week in the Dewey off-season (barring the crazy weather). The condo was perfectly clean and in a great location to walk to the nearby restaurants and the beach. I really loved the marina at the end of the block on the bay side to watch the beautiful sunsets. Ben was a great host and easily reachable and responsive (not that I had much to ask about- the instructions for the condo were really well laid out). I really enjoyed my stay.

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay at Bens place. From booking to checkout Ben’s communication was so thorough and prompt. The place had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy and the space was very efficient and worked well for our family of four. You can clearly see from Ben’s communication and the way he keeps his property that you having a comfortable and enjoyable stay is his priority. Also his instructions for everything like WIFI, washer/dryer use and unit policies were displayed and made ease of using all. By far this was the most enjoyable stay we have had an any VRBO. I can’t say enough good about this place. I will definitely book this again if I’m in the area
