Beautiful views from a lovely room.

This was the first stop on our 6-day trip around Como and Garda and we couldn't have chosen a better place to start. The views from the room are breath-taking and the walk to Menaggio was very pleasant. The bed was big and very comfortable, the room and bathroom were very well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and the free parking was a huge bonus.

Access to the rooms is via a short series of steep stairs. Not a problem for us as we travelled light, but if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage I would keep this in mind.

Chiara and Michele are exceptionally kind hosts in their beautiful lakeside home.

Chiara and Michele are exceptionally gracious, kind and attentive hosts. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Their home is tucked up against the hillside overlooking the lake, so the views from our room and the breakfast patio were gorgeous. The breakfast was especially tasty and generous.

wunderschöne, neue Zimmer, super Aussicht über den Comer See, Gehdistanz nach Menaggio Zentrum (ca. 20min), super gutes Frühstück und Auswahl vom Frühstück, Balkon mit Sicht über den Comer See, super sauberes Zimmer mit sehr gemütlichen Bett (wir haben wir die Steine geschlafen)

gibt es wirklich Nichts zu meckern, wir würden nochmal dort ein Zimmer buchen wenn wir in der Gegend sind :)

Bellas vacaciones en Fotesteria del lago Di Como

Atendido directamente por su dueña, con tanta amabilidad. Explicó excelente . Wifi gratuito. Una hermosa habitación, amplia y luminosa, con una hermosa vista al lago Desayuno excelente La amabilidad de NEILA. Que estaba en las mañanas , habla muy bien el español, dando datos de que visitar, cómo llegar.

Gorgeous room, views, in a wonderful location with very kind hosts

Super clean and modern room with a beautiful balcony. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful and so nice to have it while watching the sunrise! Will definitely book back here if I am ever in the area again :).

Heaven on earth!

The views from the room were excellent and breathtaking. The host was super nice, very accommodating and helpful with planning out our days on the lake.

Taking bags up the stairs is something you should keep in mind, it’s not easy if you have a lot of luggage.

Lovely

The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was crazy. The view was incredible. Very quiet and peaceful. The boat rental was the highlight of our trip.

The location of the hotel is a pro and a con. It’s a bit far from town without a car but that means it was really quiet. We didn’t mind the walk and it felt safe walking at night.

Exceptional!!!

Exceptional place! We were met by the lady who runs it, she was so lovely and wonderful. Helped us with everything. Our room was absolutely gorgeous. Rooms are uncluttered and have every essential you might need. Beds are very comfortable, gorgeous views, amazing bathroom. It genuinely exceeded all expectations we had. 100 out of 100!

Beautiful, Quiet and Clean Stay just outside Menaggio center

Everything! The hosts of this property are absolutely wonderful people. The staff is all very kind and attentive. The facilities are clean and well taken care of and the entire place feels fresh and new. Every morning you wake up to a gorgeous view of Lake Como, surrounded by flowers and plants. It’s tucked away just ~15 min walk from center of Menaggio, which makes it quiet at night and in the morning. Very cool at night and AC if needed. Beds made every night. Breakfast is incredible, both quick options and hot breakfast options. Overall just the most amazing experience, great location, and amazing people. Boat/bicycle/Tuk tuk rental right next to the hotel as well for those who want it which makes it very convenient!

Great place, lovely people and breathtaking view. Would definitely recommend.

The breathtaking view, the amazing breakfast and great hosts. Lovely family. The room was a great size with lots of storage space and a nice bathroom. Modern and clean. We also rented a boat from Rent Menaggio, which made for a perfect afternoon.

There is no restaurant close by. You have to walk to the town, about 20 minutes. That really is the only (small) downside.

Stunning views, friendly service.

Location, friendly family hosts. Great service and breakfast. We loved staying here , Chiara and her family were delightful as were the staff. They were very helpful and considerate to our needs. We loved the spa and balcony view and having the hire facility was a bonus, we loved our boat hire. We would stay again, it's peaceful enough to have down time and close enough to Mennagio and the ferry services if you want to check out the other areas. Highly recommend.

It's worth noting there are lots of steps if you have mobility issues, if not, don't let that put you off, it's a beautiful venue.

Wonderful comfy relaxing stay.

Just returned from an amazing weekend in Menaggio, we upgraded the room to lake view which is definitely worth doing as the views are incredible. Staff were lovely and so accommodating I forgot my travel adapter and there weren’t many shops nearby so the staff borrowed me some straighteners for the weekend which was a total lifesaver! Breakfast was lovely and had a great variety. Rooms were well equipped and even had Netflix which we enjoyed. Beds were the comfiest beds I’ve stayed on in a hotel. Hotel is located in the quiet side of Menaggio and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening with some drinks and relaxing. About a 15min walk to into Menaggio town centre but it was a enjoyable walk down via the lake side. Upon check out the staff offered to take us to the bus station which we really appreciated as we had a long day of travelling ahead of us. Thank you for the wonderful stay. I look forward to returning.

Amazing area with a perfect bed and breakfast.

Everything about our stay was amazing. The owners of the bed and breakfast were lovely and so accommodating. The views were incredible, breakfast was brilliant and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They gave us information before arrival and recommendations on how to get to the property. They provided help and were quick to respond to any questions prior to the stay. The town of Menaggio was beautiful and only a short walk away. It was not as touristy as Como, more authentic and Fuad restaurants and bars. Could not recommend it enough and would stay there again. Thank you!

There was nothing not to like, just factor in travel time to get to the property because it is worth it.

A wonderful stay that delivered everything we wanted and more.

Fabulous hosts, great parking, excellent breakfast, lovely room and views. Easy access to the water for swimming and paddle-boading with the bonus that the hosts also run boat and bike hire from the premises. The hosts really are very friendly and helpful with nothing too much bother.

The walk into the town centre and takes 20-25 mins. Some of the walk is along the main road into town and very little of the walk is lakeside. The plus is that the location out of town makes it quieter, parking easier and access to the water better.

Lovely location with well appointed rooms, super staff, and a great breakfast.

The out of town location suited us nicely and the off-street parking was great. The location is lovely with amazing views over lake Como. There are various seating / sun-lounging areas as well as the hot tub. The hotel sits on the side of a hill and while it does have a few steps it’s worth it (just don’t forget anything in the car…). The rooms are lovely - modern and well fitted out with aircon which was a real plus. The balcony was a great place to sit watch the world go by ! There’s also an option to hire boats, Ape Calessinos, e-bikes, etc. which is very handy. It’s about a 20 minute walk to town but actually quite pleasant (unless there’s a storm !) All the staff were great - really helped us feel welcome. Breakfast was also excellent - nice array of options and plenty to go around.

Great to superlative

We loved it all. Spectacular view from the room, from breakfast, from the jacuzzi. It was one of the few accomodations that were better in reality than the booking photos. Confu beds and pillows.

Great rooms, a little far from town.

The property is exceptional - rooms are contemporary with everything you need - very tasteful. Rental of boats, golf carts etc right at the gate.

There is no clear signage for the property and we had quite some difficulty finding it. Just a little too far from Menaggio for a comfortable walk, but we had our car, so that was OK.

A wonderful view hosted by a wonderful family.

The property is managed by a lovely family just outside of Menaggio. Everyone we met was charming and eager to help us enjoy our stay. The rooms have incredible views from Belagio to Belano. Nayla, who managed the breakfasts during our stay, was truly delightful, and she made wonderful eggs. The pastries, meats, and cheese were a wonderful to start the day. The property manages rental services on the lake below. We did not realize our itinerary would require as much mobility as it did, so we ended up renting a Tuk Tuk to drive around the lake on a moments notice. While there is a bit of a learning curve, it turned out to be a very fun way to see the lake. Next time we will be sure rent a boat as well!

It is a bit of a hike to the ferry. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk and finding a local taxi turned out to be quite a challenge. We ended up walking to and from town frequently during our stay, though, so as long as you pack light or make it to the hotel by car, don’t be turned away by the distance to town center. People mentioned it’s a lot of steps to get up to your room from the street, but it’s not so bad when you are engulfed in the wonderful scents emanating from the flowers lining the stairs.

Location provided a fabulous view of Lake Como and sunrise is one you won’t forget! Clean…well maintained with a lovely breakfast lakeside each morning! You’re best to have a car as it’s just outside of “town” but we walked and enjoyed renting the Tuk Tuk from the owners to get around. (They have boats too!)A most memorable visit!

Wonderful views of the lake and hospitality

The lake views were fantastic, clean/well-kept rooms and delicious breakfast (which you can eat in the common terrace overlooking the view, or take breakfast to your room). Also, the customer service exceeded expectations, we felt very welcomed.

We loved our stay and the owners were so personable , the breakfast on offer was amazing for such a small establishment . The view from the veranda was worth the steps … 😍 Michael & Ciara have done a lovely job and Naela was just lovely and informative - always smiling Beds were comfy and a lovely sized room.

I would have liked a full length mirror in the room and maybe a wall hook or 2 for coats … But totally happy with our choice of stay !
