The breakfast was amazing it was just fruit and toast, tea or coffee ,juice. But it was so fresh and cut so nice on your plate it was art.

Quiet, peaceful setting surrounded by trees on Isla's south end (away from the hustle, bustle of north end); nice pool area, close to bus route, staff will call taxi as needed, staff made sure we had adequate bottled water; good hot water and water pressure.
Misleading photo and description of "kitchenette" (room had a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave but no plates, bowls, hot plate, cutlery, or food prep equipment). Small TV (no English at all); very weak wifi; no chairs or table in our room

Tranquil setting in an otherwise manic Island. Lovely peaceful pool and garden and Carlos was very helpful. Rooms are very spacious and iguanas and tortoises very friendly. Close to the drunken donkey bar which is great and an easy walk to the superb Northern coast.
No useful bar and nothing in the rooms to go with the meagre cooking facilities. But Carlos did lend us the few bits we needed.

We loved the pace of the hotel. It was relaxing, tranquil, consistent, attractive and spacious. The room was always clean and we really appreciated the layout, balcony, ample storage, excellent air-conditioning and amenities. The staff were reliable, well-informed and very helpful. We loved that the hotel was situated in a safe and quiet part of the island, but that we were still within walking distance of many attractions and several restaurants. We felt there were many like-minded guests, which made things run smoothly and in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere. While there were water problems all over the island, we appreciate the lengths the the Villas Coco hotel staff went to.so that our water supply could be maintained.
We loved the fruit plate but would recommend cheese, cream cheese, egg or some protein to go with the toast.

Nice quite location, clean presently surprised

It is clean and the rooms are spacious. The microwave and a fridge are a plus. The coffee and a fruit plate for breakfast were good.
It is very much outdated. 1980s furniture and design, which is ok. But the matress and the pillows also did not feel new. No chairs in the room, no table on the balcony

Lovely big, clean room with ice cold air con and fridge. The staff are super friendly and helpful with figuring out buses etc. and provide a lovely breakfast of fruit, toast, coffee and juice. The pool is beautiful and cool which was a lovely way to break up the day! The area is a bit difficult to get too but worth it for the quiet, it’s also close to Punta Sur which we loved.
The location isn’t the best but there is a bus every half an hour from the main road for 20MXN or a taxi costs 100MXN which can also be flagged down from the main road which is a two minute walk from the hotel.

the facilities are very nice, jacuzzi in room, pool outdoors and nice gardens. very clean. the location is a bit far from the Center but nothing major there is a bus stop close which is only 20pesos.
the service; basic courtesy of greeting good morning, being cold and stern in all conversations except if they are selling a tour or asking for tips

The location was great especially if you are a couple and want to get away from the crowd on the island this is a great place, but if you are looking to party it may not be your best choice. Also, there's a private beach called Indios, it's about 5-10 minute walk and cost 100 pesos a person and you will be lucky to see more than 10 people at one time. Well worth it!

Getting here you will be like where the heck are they taking me…. but when you arrive you will be pleasantly surprised. The room and balcony was clean and spacious. King bed was perfect. Jorge who works evenings greeted us and he is lacking in warmth and is a bit sassy and semi rude. But the morning guy was sweet and nice. I would stay here again if I needed to.
No complaints

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Fresh fruit and coffee for breakfast were good. Could be a nice romantic spot. Beautiful cliff to see the ocean about a block away. They have a golf cart rental with reasonable rates to get you back towards town
Too far away from everything for me as a solo traveler. Only two restaurant/bars within a safe walking distance and no place to get supplies without a taxi or a golf cart. The suite set up is a bit strange also, being that they have a little kitchenette with microwave, sink and coffee maker with 2 cups but no coffee, no silverware and zero bowls or plates to use..? Being that it's so far out I feel like they should have had the regular things that most people look for in an extended stay type of room

Old hotel that isn't maintained anymore. Breakfast is disappointing, as is WiFi.
Guy in the mornings doesn't seem to like working there. Guy in the afternoon is nice

24 hr service at the desk. Carlos was helpful for getting some things on the island. Yet when we asked to get some scooters he said there were none, then we went to the north part of the island and got scooters right away! hmm.. Beds were comfy with a private balcony and plenty of storage for any woman with her thousands of sandals and other commodities. Rooms are fairly large. Security is present at night with a staff that will let you in if you straggle in the wee hours. Super quite part of the island as its on the more southern end.
Coffee pot in the room but no coffee. Kind of like a tease so you'll have to go buy your own. You wont be able to get any from the kitchen. The hot water was only hot for a moment then went to luke warm. The problem with that is that you have this huge bathtub that wont be full of hot water instead it'll be semi cold. The walk, if you dont have a scooter or golf cart, to the bus stop is only a few min away however this hotel is one of the only down a longer dirt sometimes mud puddled road to one of the main roads. OH and the staff will complain if you dont tip. I dont like that, it should come naturally! They commented on it twice within the 5 days of staying there. Mexico is all about the squeeze and it followed us here. Something we didnt want nor expected further away from the touristy parts. Im all about tipping but not when its expected for subpar quality. Up the standard maybe and go beyond, or just do your job!

The room was very nice, with a nice air conditioning and jacuzzi. The cleaning lady did a great job. There was a nice bar and swimming pool.
The wifi didn’t work very well (at times it didn’t work at all) and some of the staff members weren’t very nice. Also the breakfast wasn’t too good (just ok) and it was quite far from the beach and downtown (like 6 dollars/15 minutes in a cab).

It was good and healthy.
We booked the same amount of nights for same room and was charged higher than our friends and we booked first and recommended it.

Quietness of not being in the city
Pool needs to be checked for Ph and Chlorine.
