Very professional and attentive staff. Francesco was great, and thanks to all his advice, we could make plans and do so much more than we were hoping to.
Good breakfast, very good dinners, and extraordinary views.

The staff were great. Loved the place.
Heat could be a little stronger in the room and hot water was short.

Last minute booking, we arrive late after a very long journey from La Junta. They had kept a delicious dinner for us and were very helpful printing our forms for the car to cross into Argentina.the filling morning.

Amazing view on Lago General Carrera, great room design with wood and amazing decorations made of wool, wood and paper. Very cozy and comfortable. Friendly stuff and lots of space for parking.
Very expensive for its value. Rooms and public locations were not treated with insects, so on terrazas were lots of gadflies and mosquitoes. Sadly, we have nothing to fight with insects and shops were closed (not many of them in this location).
Also we were charged $100 for dinner which was not really worth it’s money.

The brekfsat was poor, no enough hot water in the room for Shower

The food was generous and very good. The staff was fantastically helpful - when our plans fell through to see the nearby glacier the staff gave us multiple other options that we were very happy with. The view from our room (not a full cabin just the two of us) was beautiful, but the floor to ceiling windows opening out on to a shared porch wasn't ideal.
Dinner was more formal than we liked - not that it was incredibly formal, but it was just a little stuffy and old fashioned - not our thing. The real disappointment was contrasting this stay with a cabin we stayed in a bit further north on the Careterra Austral -Mallin Colorado Ecolodge was just not as good, but cost more than twice as much per night. Dinner was NOT included in our booking.com price so that is something to double check in the room description.

Everything there is just amazing, the cabins, the dinners (!), the staff. We decided to stay for an extra night and could have spend even more time here. Shout out to Francesco who was extremely helpful in organizing our trip to Laguna San Rafael.

Exceptional room(cabin) with beautiful views, pleasant helpful staff and delicious food.
We were without water in our cabin for 1/2 day though not really a problem.

We absolutely adored everything about this place!
The view is spectacular from every angle, the space is simple, clean, and beautifully designed. Location is great, super peaceful and felt so remote (it kind of is, but not hard to get to and not too far from the nearest port).
The staff’s hospitality was top notch and really made our stay special. They even helped us set up some really unforgettable activities that we wouldn’t have known about otherwise.
The food and wine offerings are excellent as well! Everything was delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. They went beyond our expectations in this regard- we’re vegan and are used to having limited food options when traveling. We usually just bring our own food and keep our heads down ;). But one of the first things we were asked at check in was whether we had any dietary restrictions. They seemed happy to accommodate us and every meal was just stellar.
Can’t thank these folks enough for such a wonderful experience. Wish we could have stayed longer, would love to return someday!
Literally can’t think of anything negative to say.

Everything is great.
You can hear all the traffic at ruta 7.
In addition, you can hear your next door guest “brief” all night. Soundproof zero!

We stayed in a cabin with a huge picture window and a great view overlooking the amazing emerald green/ blue lake and the surrounding mountains. The cabin was large, clean, comfortable (one of the larger cabins/ bathrooms in our trip to Patagonia) and cozy, warm at night due to the nice wood stove. The staff, including Francesco, Erman (spelling?) (the chef) and Claudia were amazingly friendly, warm and attentive. The food, prepared and served in the main lodge, was creative and excellent. The staff created delicious meals perfect for our gluten and dairy free diets. All in all, perhaps the best place we stayed in our 4 week self-guided tour of the island of Chiloe and the Carretera Austral in Patagonia.
The lodge is a 50 minute drive from the closest town of Puerto Rio Tranquilo and a 1.5 hour drive from Parque Patagonia so getting places takes some time, but well worth the drive given the quiet and beautiful location of the Lodge.

A great location between puerto tranquillo and puerto gadal. on the no. 7 road. from there to Patagonia National Park is one of the best drives we had ever had - landscape BEAUTIFUL. rooms, dinners, breakfast - all was great, privacy + beautiful scenery from every window. Hike behind the hotel is lovely as well. great for couples.
